Part One.

AN: This is my second attempt at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Story, and my first attempt at a Yaoi lemon so please be gentle with your reviews. This takes place just after Duelist Kingdom, and before Legendary Heroes.

Seto sat back in his limo waiting for it to approach the apartment building where the Boy he was obsessed with ever since he laid eyes on lived. He was brought out of his musings as the limo approached the rundown apartment building. This is no place for the third best duelist in the world to live Seto thought then got out of the limo followed by his bodyguards, one of whom was carrying a briefcase, the other opened the door leading into a equally rundown Hallway which didn't even have an elevator, just a rickety looking staircase leading to the upper levels.

Seto took out a piece of paper that had the apartment number on it. “We want apartment 313” he said aloud to his two bodyguards, who just nodded and followed him up the stairs.

After a few minutes they reached the door and heard a loud argument coming from inside. Getting a bad feeling Seto motioned for his bodyguards to be silent as he silently crept up to the door. He was immediately angry and disgusted by what he heard.

“Where is the rest of the prize money, you no good piece of shit!” An older drunken voice yelled out.

“I ain't gotta tell ya nothin!” came his Puppy's indignant response.

Then there came a sound of flesh hitting more flesh, and then a loud crash from inside.

'No one hits my puppy but me!' Seto mentally seethed as he kicked the door open and rushed at the older looking slob who was standing over a barely conscious Jou, who had crashed into the coffee table.

Seto quickly executed a roundhouse kick which knocked the man back. He watched disinterested as his bodyguards finished subduing the bastard, before he turned to Jou.

“Seto.. why.. ya.. here?” Jou asked trying to remain conscious.

Seto ignored his Puppy's question as he quickly tried to ascertain how much damage was done, besides the large red welt on Jou's cheek.

“We will talk later” was the cryptic reply as he felt behind Jou's head. He pulled back immediately when he felt blood.

“Who the fuck are ya!” came the voice of the restrained drunk.

“I am Seto Kaiba, I came here to get you to sign over guardianship of Jou to me.” Seto answered without turning around. The bodyguard holding the briefcase, opened it showing some documents, and money underneath it to the drunk.

“Don't know why anyone would want the whelp” the drunk said as he signed the documents and handed them over to the bodyguard, who then handed them over to Seto who quickly signed them, and then handed them back to the bodyguard who then put them in the briefcase.

“Anything you want to take, aside from your deck?” Seto asked Jou

“My... photos... of Serenity.... and... one....my friends....done after...Duelist Kingdom,....they... are on my dresser” Jou said before passing out.

The bodyguard who wasn't holding the briefcase went and got the requested items. While he was getting them Seto picked up his precious burden.

“This friend wouldn't happen to be a certain Jounochi Katsuya would it?” the Doctor teased.

“You know me to well” Seto replied to the teasing with a small amount of affection.

“I should hope so! After all the times I've patched you up after Gozaburo beat you” The Doctor said the last part sadly.

Hearing this Seto quickly tried to reassure the Doctor “It wasn't your fault, you tried to stop him, thats what matters” Seto replied.

“Come through the back door when you arrive at my clinic, I will only have my most trusted scrub in” the Doctor answered, getting back to business.

“Yeah he can stay” Jou said secretly happy that the man he was in love with wanted to stay.

At that the doctor went to work examining Jou, after an hour he was finished.

“Well as far as I can tell he seems to be fine, but I would like to do a cat scan to see if there was any internal damage to his brain.” the Doctor said.

“Will I get ta leave afta dat?” Jou asked in his New York accent which had endeared the blond to Seto the first time he had heard it.
“Yes after that you may leave, but I will want you to come back in for a check up in a couple of days.” Dr. Andrews said as he led Jou to the cat scan room. They returned back after about an hour.

“the good new is that you only have a slight concussion, but I would still like him to come back in a couple of days. He will need to take it easy for the next week” Andrews said pointedly to the blushing Jou, and the smirking CEO.

After that Jou and Seto began walking back out to the limo, Jou was pleasantly surprised when Seto, casually placed his arm around his shoulders on the way out.
