The Thunder Rolls
The Thunder Rolls
I hope you all like my new one. I know I’m in the middle of Seeing but I had to write this. As for seeing you’ll have to go to www.fanfiction.net to read it there. I also know that its one of my shorter ones and for that I am sorry. Like I said I hope you like this and on with the fic.
I don’t own Yugioh or the song.
Means song
Three thirty in the morning
Not a soul insight
The city’s like a ghost town
On a moonless summer night
Raindrops on the windshield
He’s headin’ back from somewhere
That he never should have been
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
Yami was driving back to his house and wife of five years in his ‘06 mustang. He and his wife lived in a nice two story house. It was a normal looking house with the white picked fence and cut yard and flower garden. Working for Kaiba meant having money to spend for almost anything those two wanted.
It had been ten years since there last adventure as a gang. They had mostly broken up as everyone paired off and lived there own lives. They still talked and stayed in touch but they hardly did anything together like they use to in high school.
When the last one ended Yami did get his memories back but instead of moving on to the afterlife he got his own body back. He then ended up hooking up with Tea. That shocked everyone but Yugi the most.
At first he loved her. Or at lest he thought he had. But after five years of living with her Yami realized he only saw Tea as a friend. His heart belongs to his light, Yugi. That were he was coming back from, again. A night of passion and love making between the two tri-colored haired look a likes.
Yami knew that when he head married Tea it had broken his light’s heart but now he was trying to make it up to him. Yami was now Yugi’s. The only thing left was to divorce Tea. A promise he gave Yugi each night that never seem to come true.
Every light is burin’
In a house across town
She pacin’ by the telephone
In her faded flannel gown
Askin’ for a miracle
Hopin’ she’s not right
Prayin’ it the weather
That’s keeps him out all night
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
Tea stopped her pacing when she saw head lights but sight as they went on by. “Why? Why would he do this?” She asked herself as the phone rang. “Hello? Yami?” but now one said anything. “If this is Yugi stay from Yami! His mine!” Tea yelled with heat and anger in her voice as the line went dead.
Tea had been hoping and praying that was the rain. It was pouring hard outside and most wouldn’t be out or taking it slowly. But with that one phone call her hopes where crushed, dashed. She knew why Yami was out all night, yet again.
Yami was with him again. Yami was out there sleeping with a pint size shrimp. The fucking bastard stole her husband from her. She was going to put an end to this and she was going to do it tonight.
The thunder rolls
And the lighting strikes
Another love goes cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm bowls on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls
Yami let out a sigh as he pulled into the driveway of his home. He sat there in his car for a moment as he saw Tea standing near the window. He shook his head. He didn’t love her anymore and had to put an end to this game. He would tonight.
She was waiting by the window
When he pulls into the drive
She rushes out to hold him
Thankful his alive
But on the wind and rain
A strange new perfume blows
And the lightin’ flashes in her eyes
And he knows she knows
And the thunder rolls
And the thunder rolls
Tea saw Yami’s car pull in and smiled. Yami had returned to her. He was ok and looked fine. When he walked in and she ran up to him but stopped. By the look of his clothes, the smell of a different cologne on him and there were marks on his neck. Hope was dashed again.
Yami watched her and knew she knew where and who had been with all night. “Why?” She asked. “Does it matter?” He shot back at her as he put his coat up on the coat rack. “Yes.” Yami just looked at her before pushing his way past her and heading for the stairs. “I have work and it’s late.”
“Wouldn’t be late if you come home after work instead of….seeing…him!” she yelled at Yami’s back as he started to head up. “Don’t start Tea.”
“I love you and at one point you loved me. What happen?”
“I’ve always loved him. You, Tea, my dear wife, were a mistake. One I plan to fix this week.” He said as he had stopped half way up the stairs and turned to look at her then started to head back up.
Tea’s eyes filled with hurt at Yami’s words as he kept walking upstairs. “He won’t have you. No one but I will.” She said as she walked over to the table next to the couch and pulled it open.
The thunder rolls
And the lightin’ strikes
Another love goes cold
On a sleepless night
As the storm b lows on
Out of control
Deep in her heart
The thunder rolls
Days later the gang was standing around as Yami’s coffin was lowered into the ground. Yugi’s eyes were filled with tears as they fell down his face and fell on to the ground. Yugi then let a single black rose fall into the grave before he turned around with the group and started to walk way.
As he did he walked pasted Tea. He looked up at her and saw hate in her eyes for him. The two where once friends but now bitter enemy. “He was mine until death.” She said to Yugi as Tea walked on. ‘Maybe. But his heart was mine.’ Yugi thought with a small smile.
