The wind rustled the leaves as the wolves sang to the full moon in a sorrowful melody. Red blood on the moon showing how much it was hurting itself as it made little light in a far off dark forest in Japan.

The earth felt the blood pouring down on it’s face. The wind heard and carried with them the cries of pain and agony. The trees had the satisfaction to see who it was in so much pain as it stood there powerless to stop anything with it’s immobile state.

In a clearing of the forest was the source where all the cries were coming from. A man no older then 20 was bleeding badly, still being abused by two other men.

The man being abused wasn’t that tall and defenseless but still didn’t have the strength to counter the surprise attack. The man had dark black hair and blond bangs with bolts. His red eyes forming tears not having the control to stop them from flowing down his face.

The two men abusing him gave no mercy. One was a mad, sinister man with long blonde hair and tan skin. His violet eyes held complete hatred toward the man he was hurting.

The other had long white hair and dark menacing brown eyes. His eyes held the pleasure of power he felt having the young man at his mercy. He enjoyed the thrill of killing.

The red eyed man was angry. There was a betrayer in his people. He was led here by the betrayer but who was it? He couldn't remember. There was something holding in his power. He was helpless and he hated it.

The red eyed man’s arms were then shackled to two firm branches of the tree. The branches were to high for him to stand on so he was hanging feeling the blood in his wrists stop flowing to his hand.

“This is supposed to be one of their strongest? Let’s just finish him off now.” The white haired man said face covered in the red eyed man’s blood. The white haired man pulled out a knife but was held back as partpartner held him tightly around the waist.

“No. He wanted this one alive, love. Alive. We must not kill him. He said torture him as much as we want. We can’t kill him though but we do have to feed him.” The blonde said annoyed and hearing his partner growl equally annoyed provoked him to make his lover happy again.

“But he never said we couldn’t cause him immense pain.” The blonde added licking at his partner’s earlobe seductively.

“I like that,” The white haired man said leaving his lover's hold on him and walked to their prisoner still bleeding from previous slashing. Now the man was scared. Feared these men might not do what they spoke of. That they might really kill him and leaving him here so known of his family would find him. The man approaching him with the knife smirked at him evilly knowing he had complete power.

The man held up his knife and stabbed the prisoner in the arm not hitting anything fatal. More blood splattered on the white haired man’s face but he enjoyed it. The sound of the prisoner screaming and wrenching in pain with tears flowing down his red puffing eyes. The man loved every second of it.

The prisoner was desperately calling for his family, his friends. Why wouldn’t they come help him? He tried again to call somebody, anyone he had a mental link with. He was losing blood quickly and didn’t trust these men watching over him in his weakened state. Of course they’re thes tes that caused it.

The prisoner just wanted to know someone was coming for him. He tried to mentally call someone. He found a path and used it. All he saw was violet orbs staring at him innocently, gently. He didn’t like them though. He felt them hold some power over him. He thought the orbs to be that of the betrayer. The person that put him in this situation. *Come to me* The prisoner said in the others mind letting the other share his pain but then just as he said it he lost consciousness.

“We’ll come next week to feed him.” The blonde stated as they both left the prisoner to suffer alone and to let his sanity leave him.

[In America]

Alone in his room Yugi Mutuo was studying for a big test tomorrow. Everybody doesn’t see why he even bothers though. He was one of the smartest people in his school. It just all came natural to him because he enjoyed learning.

People always thought of Yugi Mutuo to have a perfect life. Great grades, family and friends, and a great future. It is a different case in Yugi’s mind. Sure he enjoyed his friends and the only real family was his uncle who was never home but said he loves Yugi so much. And his friends used him to get better grades.

Yugi thought his life was terrible. He witnessed both his parents and grandparents die slowly in front of his eyes at the age of ten. His uncle didn’t care for his needs. He only liked the publicity of having a very smart child living in his house.

Yuji tried his hardest to shield himself from the world. Not wanting to ever feel the pain of heart brake again. He never saw himself with someone as a friend, partner, or boyfriend. He taught himself enough self-discipline and control to keep his emn inn inside. He would not let little things bother him and he’ll make sure of it. He’ll live his life alone and that’s just how he wants it.

As Yugi was looking over some science note he felt pain surging through his body. Unbelievable pain that made him fall of his chair and onto the floor twisting and turning fighting the tears that threaten to come out.

He started panting from the loss of air to his lungs and closed his eyes to try and calm himself from the pain.

No one came upstairs to assist him but why would they. His uncle is the only one here in this house and he wouldn’t care if he were in pain. He clutched his head not being able to control this damn pain. The last thing eardeard was “Come to me” filled with agony before Yugi went unconscious.

[Three year later]

In the prisoner’s mind it was completely shattered. Nothing made sense to himmoremore. He was lost and almost insane. His memories gone through the three years of being trapped on this tree knowing nothing but pain and suffering.

All he ever saw were those two men hurting him more and more. All he could do was stay immobile in his shackles and wait for someone to help him. He always saw those violet orbs though. The path to those orbs made it easier to stand the long on suffering knowing that someday he would have his revenge on those violet orbs. He felt nothing but complete hatred towards them waiting and dreaming of the day he would end their lives. He has been calling to those violet orbs. Letting the other feel his suffering.

The men that put him here in the first place walked up to him with masks on not wanting him to know who they were seeing that his mind is so mixed up he doesn’t remember.

He doesn’t remember anything of his life. His name, weather he had a family or not. He couldn’t even remember right or wrong. His sanity staying by a thread and seeing his tormentors didn’t help.

“How is our little prisoner today?” The blonde asked mockingly hearing a growl emit from the prisoner. The white haired man slapped the prisoner immediately not allowing such disrespect.

The men fed the prisoner for this week like always. It surprised them how this man would still want to survive. But they’re boss wants him to stay alive so that’s what they’ll do.

“Hey prisoner. Does the name…Mai…ring a bell?” The blonde said in his sickening tone. The prisoner racked his brain several times finding it painful to try and remember till he found a fragment of his memory and saw a beautiful blonde woman with a confident look to her, definitely independent…Mai.

*She is my younger sister* The sound flowed into the men’s head so clearly they would think he still had his full strength.

“Good you’re right. Now you want to know something,” The white haired man said grinning like the madman he was. “We killed her. Your own sister’s blood was on my hands. And they’re tainted with the sweet scent of her blood.” The white haired man said licking his fingers making the prisoner’s stomach churn in disgust at the thought.

The prisoner couldn’t remember a thing. He just knew this Mai person was his sister and now his hatred towards these men progressed for taking the life of his sister. He tried to remember more but nothing came. It pai painful for him to try and remember his mind hurting, throbbing to just let the memory go away like it wanted to.

*Monsters* The prisoner answered in their minds with complete hatred. The two madmen started to laugh evilly.

“You call us the monsters, you freak? Please. You’re the monster in this whole world. You’re the danger to us. We’re protectors to the world. Protecting them from your kind.” The blonde said angrily at the prisoner hanging to the tree glaring at him.

“Don’t let hit tot to you. You know how these kind are.” The white haired man said holding his lover back knowing this prisoner has some sort of power in his voice to make others feel how they really didn’t.

“Let’s go before I do decide to kill him this time.” The blonde said walking up to their prisoner and bringing out a familiar knife, slashing the prisoner a couple of times on the stomach, and enjoying the fresh blood coming from it.

The prisoner had learned to take immense pain from flesh wounds but has still not learned to handle the pain of trying to remember things from his past. All he could do is think about revenge, retaliation, and the killing of those violet orbs. He still kept sending his pain straight to those orbs though. He sent it this time though finding that he couldn’t hold it back.

As the prisoner was left once again bleeding and hurt the other two men again left to kill more of the monsters that were the prisoner’s kind.

[In America]

Yugi Mutuo now a graduate from high school walked out of a tall building walking towards his two new friends.

“So Yugi where would a child prodigy go for summer vacation?” A cheery boy with long blonde hair and tan skin said. He had playful purple eyes and a grin like smile on his face.

“Malik stop calling me that. I was not born a genius.” Yugi said rolling his eyes at that blonde who insisted on calling him a child prodigy.

“Malik maybe it’s that Yugi is shy about being called that?” The sweet voice said from a boy that has white hair and kind brown eyes. boy boy seems more gentle and careful then the carefree blonde boy.

“Maybe you’re right, Ryou.” Malik said grinning at Yugi who he knew for a fact wasn’t shy. Yugi was a small boy. He always seemed so fragile and small but he always proved to be strong and courageous in difficult times.

Yugi has dark hair with blonde bangs. His hair for some reason never changes no matter how hard he tried. What scared him was one time he cut his hair and the next morning it looked like nothing happened to it. Yugi had big violet eyes that showed his innocents to everyone that passed.

“I’m not shy.” Yugi said walking with his friends down the streets heading for the airport.

“Then where are you going and we’ll follow.” Malik said wrapping his arms around Yugi’s shoulders. Yugi couldn’t help but make a small smile barely visible but it was there.SuddSuddenly Yugi felt a burning pain. He falls to the ground clutching his stomach feeling the burning come from it. Yugi feels tears come to his eyes. The last time he ever felt pain this bad was three years ago. Why is it happening again?

“Yugi are you okay?” Ryou asks completely scared for his small friend who looks like he is in so much pain. Ryou wraps his arms around Yugi’s small form but then feels pain in himself and quickly moves away.

Yugi quickly puts the pain aside. He doesn’t want to worry the true friends he only had. He got up wiping his tears off but still feeling them sting. He helped Ryou up apologizing.

“What was that about?” Malik asked looking at Yugi’s small form still slightly trembling from the terrible pain that is still coming from his stomach.

“Nothing. I just fell and hurt my knee.” Yugi tried lying. Malik shook his head knowing his friend was lying but didn’t want to pry into the private boy’s life.

“So what about you, Ryou?” Malik said looking at the shocked boy staring at his hands like they’ve been burnt.

“I’m fine. I guess.” Ryou said putting his hands in his pockets. He could still remember the strange pain he got when he touched Yugi. It scared him but he decided to just forget about it.

“So um let’s keep going. So where are we going again Yugi?” Malik asked trying to change the subject and make the air around them less tense.

“Um we’re going to Japan. Use your brain why do you think I made you two take Japanese lessons?” Yugi said rolling his eyes at his blonde friend.

“Oh! That’s why I had to miss sleeping time for learning a foreign language. Wait. Why Japan? Isn’t China more famous. They do make practically everything we have.” Malik stated getting an elbow to the gut by Ryou.

“I am Japanese, Malik. My parents both were from Japan.” Yugi said frowning the memory of his parents dying coming to his mind.

Seeing the pain in his friend’s eyes Ryou once again elbowed Malik in the gut for being so dense.

“Of course we’ll go with you Yugi. No problem.” Ryou said smiling happily at Yugi calling for a taxi so they wouldn’t be late for their flight.

Finally in Japan the three friends were exhausted from the long flight. Yugi and Ryou couldn’t get any sleep though because without their knowledge Malik is one a heavy sleeper and two he snores.

“Aww I don’t know about you guys but I’m ready to do some exploring in Japan!” Malik said in English not really feeling like speaking in Japanese yet.

People started whispering in Japanese about the three boys but all Malik did was stare confused at them. Ryou and Yugi couldn’t help but to smirk and shake their heads.

“Malik speak Japanese please.” Yugi said in Japanese making his point. Malik sighed but nodded saying “Gomen,”

“Let’s go,” Ryou said starting walking down a street. “I heard about a hotel that’s really good.” He added.

They got settled in quickly and Ryou quickly went to sleep and Malik went straight to the buffet but Yugi felt uneasy. For some reason the forest was calling to him. He couldn’t explain it but his mind was telling him to leave to the forest.

So Yugi went and wrote a note for his friends so they wouldn’t worry about him. Then he quickly left off to the forest that was near the hotel he was staying in.

Yugi walked through an unmarked path enjoying the fresh air. He took off his shoes liking the feeling of the soil touching his skin. He walked for hours hearing, seeing, and smelling things he didn’t think he could.

Then Yugi felt an unevenness. He started walking again towards a path that was calling to him. *Come to me* A voice said in his head. It scared him. He could tell the voice was full of hatred and anger. It made him shiver at the scary imagination.

Yugi has heard that voice before. He for some reason has been having this weird dream of a man. He doesn’t know this man but it scares him. This man had the most scariest red eyes. He looked so hurt and looked like Yugi too.

Yugi always thought it was a sick nightmare that’s been happening since that day three years ago. He thinks that why would he dream about himself in pain though. It confuses him and sometimes he hears the man and all he ever says is “Come to me” it just scares Yugi.

Yugi keeps walking until he finds himself in a clearing that he’s never heard of. He felt strange before he entered it though. He saw a piece of paper on a tree and grabbed it putting it on the ground and felt much better. He finally looked at the clearing but what scared and shocked him the most was the man from his dream, the one that was in so much pain and agony, was there shackled to a tree hanging, unconscious...dead.

Yugi felt tears sting his eyes. How could someone do this? They were so cruel. To just beat and kill this man and just shackle him to a tree. The tears fell from Yugi’s eyes seeing the man’s face. It was the man from his dreams and he felt scared but was really sorry for the man.

Yugi walked up to the man and thought to himself. This man can’t stay here. He deserved a proper funeral even if Yugi didn’t know him. So Yugi walked up to the man and saw that the shackles were slightly rusty. He grabbed the rusting piece of metal and started tugging at it. Without any effort though the shackles break.

To Yugi’s complete surprise though the prisoner opened his eyes and red flaming eyes stared angrily at Yugi.

The first thing the prisoner saw was those violet orbs and his rage started and he quickly moved his hand with speed the common eyes couldn’t see and grabbed the boy’s neck in a death grip. Seeing the horrified look on the boy’s face satisfied the prisoner immensely but he wouldn’t feel complete satisfaction until the boy was dead.

Yugi was terrified. This man was supposed to be dead. He saw a knife in the man’s arm bleeding fresh blood so that proved that this man was alive but how? Right now Yugi didn’t care. He was trying to get out of the death grip this man gave him. If the man didn’t let him go soon Yugi knew he was going to die.

Yugi felt the air leave his lungs. He knew this man was going to kill him. He waited for the inevitable. He felt the grip on his neck tighten trying to break his windpipe. Yugi closed his eyes waiting for the death this man wanted for him. This man was obviously in a lot of pain. Yugi didn’t mind this. The man was hurt and probably angry and was going to take it out on him. He didn’t mind he was waiting for the day he was going to die.

The prisoner in his rage didn’t notice the rocks coming out the ground floating out of the earth following his rage. Without that sutra on the tree in the clearing his power had the right to return. His power started to grow and rejuvenate.

The prisoner felt the violet orbs start to lose their color. He could feel them dying and stop breathing. It was almost done.
