chapter 9
He arched into the slightly cool but super heated touch of his lover. A moaned name tore its way from his throat as he begged for more. Soft lips that tasted of honey and something spicy claimed his in a heated kiss that stole his breath and his heart. Long slender fingers slid down his face to his neck where clever lips soon followed. His lover nibbled at his neck while the teasing hand slid lower ghosting across his nipples. He shuddered as pleasure racked his body. He felt his lover smirk against his skin and skilled fingers gently toyed with his sensitive nubs. Soon the mouth that was lavishing his neck moved lower. Hot breath tantalized his skin and he held his breath for what was coming. A tormenting tongue darted out caressing his nipple causing his body to spasm as white hot ecstasy jolted though him. “Easy puppy.” A smooth silky voice whispered into his ear. Deep sapphire eyes suddenly loomed in front of him…
Jou sat bolt upright as his alarm buzzed in his ear. He groaned flopping back into his pillows trying to will the images of his dream and the result of his dream to vanish. He could not be having sex dreams about Kaiba. He was willing to admit that Kaiba was sexy as hell but the other had done so much for him. The last thing he wanted was to lose his friendship with the other teen. He cursed slamming his alarm into silence. A sharp knock came to his door and Seto poked his head in. “There is time to shower and have breakfast before we have to leave for school.” He nodded flopping back into bed. He had forgotten all about school.
Mokuba shuffled from his room hoping he was dressed well enough. It was his first day of high school and all he could think of was a good four more hours of sleep. He ran into something soft and slightly yielding and looked up at Jou who seemed about as awake as he felt. “Morning.” He said well, he hoped he said. Jou gave some mumbled reply back and he was oddly happy to know he wasn’t the only one dreading school. “JOU, MOKUBA, GET A MOVE ON!” He growled as his brother’s voice echoed up the stairs. He was convinced his brother was way too much of a morning person and should be shot with a tranquilizer so they could sleep in for another four hours.
Seto handed out breakfast and lunch to Jou and Mokuba as he shoved them out the door. He assumed Jou was a morning person much like himself considering that the blond was normally up when he was. Apparently the morning person only applied during the summer or when school was out. Jou flopped against him as he slid into the limo and he gently patted his puppy’s head. His brother was already sound asleep in the seat across from him. He vaguely wondered if Mokuba knew he had his shirt on inside out and backwards. He would fix that later. Actually he would let Nagi fix that later. He knew his brother had more than friendly feelings for his best friend and he knew the other boy returned those feelings. He also knew that Nagi was a good kid. Nagi’s father was a successful doctor so the kid wasn’t after money and Nagi was brilliant. He couldn’t imagine a better pair for his brother. The only thing he had against the kid was they thought an alarming amount alike and they also looked a little like one another. They both had brown hair and blue eyes. Though Nagi’s eyes were wider and a darker more dusty shade of blue. However Nagi had more social grace and ease with people than he ever dreamed.

Jou sat up as a knock came to the limo window. He had fallen asleep, on Seto no less. Mokuba’s friend opened the door and smiled at them. “Hi Seto, Jou. Does Mokuba know his shirt is inside out and backwards? Where is his uniform jacket?” He blinked then made sure he had everything on the right way and wasn’t missing anything. He looked down at his shoeless feet and sighed. “Nagi will you please fix my brother. Jou your shoes are there. Mokuba’s jacket is in the front seat with the driver.” The other young boy nodded and swiftly redressed Mokuba as if he had done so a thousand times. He hated morning people on a school day.
Yugi slowly approached the limo as it pulled up to the school. Jou stepped out after a few moments and stretched rubbing his eyes. Kaiba stepped out after ward handing Jou his bag. He smiled at the two and his best friend gave him a small sleepy grin. “Hay Yug’ how was the rest of your summer?” He shrugged not having anything to share. After all they had all gone to Kaiba Land two days ago. “Not much to share. Yami is helping get Bakura and Malik calmed down. Otogi and Honda have yet to arrive. Anzu is showing your sister around. Ryou and Marik are with their yamis trying to help my yami. So are you excited for our last year of high school?” He bounded over to his friend chatting happily as Jou dragged along next to him. “Oh yeah I’m thrilled. Not really. I’ll be really thrilled on the last day when I know I never have to come back here.” He laughed happily sharing the sentiment full heartedly. However, the thought of moving on also filled him with a deep melancholy. “So how was the rest of your summer Jou?” His best friend shrugged and yawned. “Not so bad. Seto worked and Mokuba, Nagi and I hung out by the pool or watched movies. We went out for school supplies one day but other dan dat we did nothin’ big.” He nodded and looked at the two young boys. Mokuba was hanging on his best friend who was practically dragging him into the school. “We should hang out after school then. None of the teachers ever give much on the first day.” His friend nodded and grinned. “Yeah we should go to the arcade and then get pizza just like old times.” He nodded happily.

Jou couldn’t wait for the day to end. He really hated school some days. Most of their teachers had given them homework already and it was only the first day. He was already dreading math because the teacher was really strict and gave them a take home test. Good news was that if they got a 100% she would pass them for the whole year. Then he looked at the test and knew it wasn’t possible. The final bell sang and he could hear sweet freedom calling. His friends all waited for him outside the building and he smiled. “Man guys I think we should all work and this stupid math test together.” Honda said looking it over. He nodded grinning up at Seto as the CEO came up next to him. “Hay Seto can we all head over to the mansion to work on homework together?” His friend nodded slowly. “That’s fine. However I have a meeting so I won’t be there to help until later.” He felt any hope of getting 100% fade as swiftly as he realized that Seto Kaiba was a genius. He nodded slowly sighing.
Seto walked to Kaiba Corp while the others took the limo home. He didn’t think his meeting would take long but it always seemed that the second school started his work load for Kaiba Corp doubled. He stopped and got his messages at the front desk then headed up to his office. He nodded to his sectary who grabbed him by the back of his jacket hauling him to a stop. “Just where exactly do you think you are going?” The woman asked glaring at him. He pointed to his office and she snarled. “I don’t think so! You march your ass into that conference room right this instant. I have the speech prepared!” His sectary was on of the few people he admired. She had no fear at all, and she was super efficient. She was a lovely lady with curves most people dieted away; she had a soft face framed by soft hazel hair and big hazel eyes. Everything about her looked gentle and feminine. Then she opened her mouth. When he first interviewed her he thought she might be too delicate for the business world but he had taken a chance. Now she was one of his true friends and made it so he didn’t have to be at work seven days a week. He was more or less hauled to the conference room where his sectary then looked him over and brushed off some lint and huffed. “I can’t believe I’m sending you in there with your school uniform on. They took me off guard and arrived early. Oh well, I’ll be in there with you and we are ready for anything.” He nodded as he turned opening the door. The four me who were trying to buy into one of his smaller companies looked him over and he could see the disdain and the misjudgment in their eyes. This was where he thrived. “Excuse my tardiness gentlemen, school kept me late.” They ate the line up and he knew he had them right where he wanted them.

Jou looked at the math problem again and sighed letting his head hit the table with an audible echo. He groaned feeling his brain melting from his ears. They had been on the stupid test for over an hour and it made no sense. His friends and him and finished all the other work first just leaving them with the test of doom. Mokuba, Nagi, and his sister had vanished somewhere once they were done so he was happy some one was having fun. “I see things are going well.” Seto’s voice brought his head up and he smiled at the brunet. “How did it go?” He was almost afraid to ask but the rather smug look on the brunet’s face told him all he needed to know. “It went better than I expected. How is the math?” He groaned and let his head collide with the table once more. “Ah, I see. I honestly didn’t think it was all that hard.” He glared at the brunet who took a seat and dropped the completed test on the table. He glared at the test hoping it would burst into flames. “Where are you stuck?” He shoved over the test and the brunet nodded. “I see. She gave us all different tests. However the problem is done the same. Let’s all head to my office and I’ll show you how to do it.” He blinked grabbing Yugi’s test and glared at the problem. Different tests explained why they were all getting different answers.
Jou listened and watched as Kaiba solved a problem like the one they were all working on. He always knew Seto was a genius but it took a truly brilliant genius to explain what went thought that complicated head. Seto was truly brilliant. He made things easy to understand from all angles. He finished solving the problem on his booklet and handed it over to the brunet who checked it and nodded. He was so happy he could cry. He was done and with Seto’s help he was sure he would get the needed 100%. He was so set for the rest of the school year.
