Chapter 9: Authoress Chapter

I’d like to start off by saying thanks to all of my readers and reviewers! You all are the best!!
‘Two Sides of One Soul’ is a fic I tinkered and twiddled with over the Christmas Holidays.
This fic originated from a song I wrote called “Two Sides in One Soul”. Ahh ehh, in a nutshell, I wrote a fic that’s similar to Sailor Moon entitled the Galaxy Soldiers (3 Seasons and 33 Episodes!) and all the soldiers have image songs and that’s the title to one of the image songs.
Also I got inspiration from my demented, crazed, insane mind. It’s more of a ‘What if’ situation.
The dream idea…was good…I would have never thought of the story as Anzu’s dream…well, I could always do an Alternate Ending…Nah.
I wanted this fic to have a dark feel to it as Anzu began to see the ‘real side’ of Yami. I guess you can say the entire point of this fic was to get Anzu into the nut house.
Ok, you’re supposed to feel some miniscule twitch of compassion for Anzu. Ok then, maybe not. I’m being mean. I know it.
As some of you may notice, my chapters are longer than usual. It’s just me trying something different. Instead of 20ish short chapters, you get 8 long chapters…ok the finale isn’t that long, but…you get the idea… I wanted to keep everyone into the fic. This also helped me because it transitioned much smoother than I expected.
As for Favorites: Here’s my top 5!
1. Anzu and the priests scene in Chapter 7 (5 at once?! Woah)
2. Yami’s poem to Anzu in Chapter 1 (an original poem by yours truly)
3. The revealing of the plan in Chapter 5. (Yugi and Yami are too evil!!)
4. Ishizu and Anzu in Chapter 6 (I don’t do yuri too often)
5. Anzu in the nut house in Chapter 8 (Pharaoh will come to play with me again!)
If there’s any confusion to the plan, it’s as simple as this. Yugi and Yami actually derived it and they just invited everyone else along for the ride. It’s really a bit of revenge factor in this. Anzu didn’t want to go to the one that truly loves her. (Yugi) Instead she goes for the one she lusts after. (Yami)
Yugi, jealous over the entire matter, talks to Yami about setting up this scheme to get revenge for breaking his heart. Yami really doesn’t have any true feelings towards Anzu (except as friends or just acquaintances). He just says and does those things just to get Anzu to trust him completely. Meanwhile, Yugi and Yami would ‘end their friendship…their bond’ to make it seem as if Yami is willing to give up his best friend for her. (Like that would ever happen…) After she’s reeled in too deep to escape, Yugi gets the idea to have a little fun and to invite others into their sex life.
Since Yami still has the power from the Sen’nin Puzzle, all he has to do is to make a few threats and she would gladly oblige or risk losing her life.
Got it? Good. Now I think that’s all I have to say! I know I keep saying ‘Independence 2’ and ‘Ghost Stories’ but nothing has happened… as of this moment, those fics are temporarily postponed. I’ll surprise you all with something one day in the future.
