CHAPTER 6

As Yugi was trying to sleep he kept having a weird dream, it involed a man with sky red hair he had one black eye and one gold and a very long scar. It turns out that when Yami was thinking of showing him his memories, Yugi’s new mind power let him see it through a dream of when Yami was sealed. Now he was twisting and whimpering, outside Bakura and Marik could hear him, Bakura telepathically asked

‘should we wake him it seems he is having a bad dream. Plus he keeps holding his breath and that can’t be good. Or should we tell Yami’
Marik replied

‘let’s just tell Yami the kid may have mood changes quick but I can still sense he is scared of us’

‘ok but who should tell Yami?’

‘I will ok just watch the front’
So Marik searched for Yami’s mind when he did he said

‘Yami just letting you know Yugi seems to be having a bad dream and keeps holding his breath I think he might send himself into unconsiousness soon if he’s not woke soon but he is still scared of us so can you come down from your business for a minute and calm him’

‘yes I’ll be right there’

Where they were on the other side of the city in his place he turned to Ann

“Ann I must leave for a bit. Apparently Yugi is having a dream and he keeps on stopping breathing I will be back so don’t kill him off till I’m back”
She nodded then turned back to Keith and punched him, Yami chuckled then teleported to Yugi’s back door when he saw Marik he said

“you know when this is over you must apologize to him about the comment you made but right now just stay on guard”
He grunted and turned his head away

“same as awlays eh Marik”
Marik chuckled and stood straight up but side stepped to let Yami in. once inside he went straight up the stairs but Solomon came running out of his room looking all around and holding a stick he near jumped out of his skin when Yami spoke

“light sleeper are you. Um what’s your name?”
After his heart stopped racing he told Yami

“Solomon my name’s Solomon”

“good to know it. But if you’ll excuse me I must see too Yugi I guess at the moment while he’s dreaming he keeps on holding his breath”
To his ammusement Solomon lightly growled

“all this is new to you but I want no harm to come to Yugi so just go back to sleep”
Solomon slowly went back to his room continuing to stare at Yami until the door was closed. Yami was still amused about Solomon growling when he said he was going to take care of Yugi, so he opened Yugi’s door what he saw made his heart flutter but also break. Yugi was wrapped around the blankets that had twisted into a type of toga, his pants had crawled up a bit to his knee caps his shirt had also went up sideways and was showing his belly button but he was gripping the sheets and whimpering, while squirming and like Marik had said Yugi held his breath. Carefully as to not startle him Yami walked over to the bed and knelled in the floor close beside Yugi’s head then just as carefully he shook his shoulder trying to wake him. No success and again Yugi held his breath, so Yami decided to probe Yugi’s mind for what he was dreaming. Shocked Yami pulled back, he was also holding his breath like Yugi was

“ok I didn’t tell him about that and now he is stuck in it, seesh when I said I might show him some of my memories I didn’t think his power would trap him in a dream of them. Hm the only way to wake him is to finish the memory luckily it’s almost at its end”
Sure enough not five seconds after he spoke, Yugi shot up looking wildly around the room and gasping for breath Yami took Yugi’s hands in his and spoke softly to him

“ssh little one it’s okay”
But Yugi was still figeting and remained scared, looking around. This time instead of a quick move Yami slowly stood up from the floor and then sat on the bed. Even more carefully and slowly he reached out for Yugi’s waist and pulled him into his lap Yugi did a squeak but let Yami put him in his lap Yami gently pushed Yugi’s head down onto his shoulder and rested his chin on Yugi’s head he whispered

“would you like me to explain what you saw and why?”
As best as he could Yugi nodded

“ok. Well what you saw was a memory of mine. It really did happen. Earlier I was thinking of showing some memories to you so you would know I would keep my word. Like you thought about but. I guess your powers knew this and trapped you in a dream of when I was sealed away. I was quite worried you kept holding your breath, you were actually about to go unconscious from lack of oxygen”

“oh sorry for worrying you but you know what. That man he looked familiar somehow”

“really? Do you remember where he looked familiar?”
Yugi put a finger to his chin and hmmed then Yami spoke

“you want to know something funny?”

“ok. What’s funny?”

“Well when I came in here through the backdoor and up the stairs. Your grandpa jumped out of, I’m guessing his room. Holding a stick looking everywhere I think I took at least ten more years off his life when I asked from the shadows ‘light sleeper are you’ and asked what his name was. Then I said I had to come look after you only a little explaining to him that you kept holding your breath. Now the funniest thing to me was he actually started growling low at me I told him to go back to sleep. It was priceless how slowly he went back into his room watching me till the door was closed”
Yugi giggled a little

“ya I bet that was priceless. He can be so funny at times. OH HEY NOW I REMEMBER!”
He flew off Yami easily because he had to cover his ears, it did hurt his ears too but he didn’t care. Yami shook his head to try to get rid of the ringing in his ears then he noticed Yugi was gone but heard little foot steps on the staris so went into the hallway. Seeing Solomon out again looking around wildly he chuckled getting his attention

“don’t ask me I guess he figured out who the man in his dream, my memory was. I think he went downstairs”
Then began to desend them with Solomon behind him. Seeing a light he went into the living room. There was Yugi bent down going through something, then struggle to get up with a huge book in his arms. with a bang the book was on the table and Yugi began flipping through the pages both Solomon and Yami were watching him closely with curiosity in their eyes

“AHA I KNEW HE LOOKED FAMILIAR!”
He exclaimed while pointing at a picture both leaned in and looked at it. A man with sky red hair and two different eyes was painted into the book

“that’s him alright”
Then Yugi started laughing making Yami a little annoyed

“and what is so funny?”

“hahahaha oh but it is funny you see this book is of our family. I’m his descendant. Boy that would just be a kick in the pants”
And this time it was Yami who started laughing, Solomon looked at the two thinking their crazy. They both slowly turned their heads and stared at him making him flinch away, in unison they said

“I am not crazy”
Solomon stood there with his mouth hanging open almost pale again both were laughing but it was at Solomon, Yugi decided to tell his grandpa

“haha grandpa that’s the one who sealed Yami years ago. It’s just too funny, his descendant’s blood broke the seal he had placed on Yami”
Now he got it but he didn’t think it was funny, at that Yugi looked saddend Yami saw this and glared at Solomon

“way to make him feel bad. He had thought it was funny”
Indeedn he looked at his grandson and saw the face, now he felt bad

“I’m sorry Yugi its just been to much to find out in one night. I’m going to go back to bed and you should too school is tomorrow”
At that Yugi shuddered and Solomon slapped his face like Yugi had earlier

“oh right. Um never mind. I guess one day wouldn’t hurt to miss, so you can help in the shop tomorrow instead. Be in there at 9 sharp ok”
Yugi brightened and nodded making both smile at him. Then Solomon left the living room returning to his bedroom when he was out of the room Yami finally spoke

“ok you should go back to sleep to. I have something to do so I have to go”
Yugi gave a big yawn but said

“no way am I going back to sleep anytime soon. And if it’s not that important can you stay please”
He thought about it and looked at Yugi who had pleading eyes

“just a second”
Then he closed his eyes making Yugi confused but he stayed quiet even in his head. What Yami was doing was trying to talk to Ann

*Ann.. Ann?*

/yes Yami?/

*ok I’ve waken Yugi and found somethings out but he doesn’t want me to leave. So if I send Bakura or Marik there for me would that be ok. Or do you want to finish him off yourself?*

/I want to finish him off myself but I’ll do it for both of us. Ok?/

*ok. I must go Yugi is starting to get nervous with me standing here not doing anything*
He opened his eyes and looked at Yugi

“ok little one I’ll stay. What would you like to do? Oh just a second let tell Bakura and Marik they can go. But why don‘t we just walk to were they are and see them off”
Yugi nodded a little and Yami held out his hand, which Yugi excepted without hesitation. First they walked to the back door

“Marik”

“yes?”

“I am staying here. So you are free to go”

“ok later”
And then he was gone just like that Yugi stared at the spot open mouthed till Yami chuckled

“one power you get when turned. And there is quite a few powers to get. But you already had hidden powers when I met you so now there coming out. You’ll be very powerful when you choose to get turned and rule with me”
Yugi blushed and gave a small giggle that made Yami profoundly happy, knowing he had chose the right words so he didn’t scare Yugi. Next was Bakura and Yugi was being very bouncy on the way to the front. While he was still holding Yami’s hand

“hey Bakura you can go”

“about time. And damn kid you got one set of lungs”
In unison they used their free hand and rubbed their ear while saying

“tell me about it”
Bakura blinked at them not sure how to react to that, slowly he said

“rrrriiight. Well I‘m off”
Like Marik, Bakura was gone in a flash Yugi giggled again

“loved his face. Talk about priceless”
Yami chuckled and nodded, Yugi made sure to relock the door before they left the shop. Then once in the living room with the book put away, Yugi was cuddled on the couch with hot chocolate in his hands and sitting beside Yami. After taking a sip of the hot bevarage he looked to Yami

“Yami?”

“yes little one?”

“well um. Will you show me some more of your memories? And when will you start training me to control my powers?”
Yami was a little taken aback by that and looked Yugi in the eyes, only seeing sincerity in them he answered

“if you would like to see them. And as for training how about after your done in the shop tomorrow”

“yeah that sounds good”

“ok well then start off by shutting your eyes”
He did just that and Yami put his hands on Yugi’s temples, he also closed his eyes and thought of his past. Minutes past with them in that position to Yugi all whole bunch off images past before him in a 100 speed but he understood all of it like he was living it. Then Yami took away his hands and sat back to watch Yugi open his eyes

“wow. Man how old are? And the guy with purple hair was scary”
Yami chuckled

“well for your information I’m over 1500 hundred years old”
Yugi interrupted

“wow you don’t look more then 20”
Yami laughed softly because of that

“Thanks that’s a big compliment. And yes the man with purple hair is very scary. He is the ruler of another kind of vampire and very evil. Unfortunately he is another that had an eye on you”
Yugi shuddered and Yami put an arm around his sholder which he snuggled into leaning his head on that arms shoulder

“But now that Keith will be gone tonight I can spend all my time training and watching you as well as your grandfather”
He smiled huge at Yami making his heart beat faster for a moment and smiled back. When Yugi started yawning cutely

“Ok mister you may not want to go back to sleep but your body does. Come on bed with you little one. And if you want I’ll stay in the room with you tonight”
Covering another yawn Yugi mumbled, a little nervously

“But where will you sleep in there”

“On the floor of course I’ve slept on much worse”
As soon as he had Yugi under the covers and went to sit down himself Yugi was fast asleep. Yami looked out the window

*I hope he doesn’t make a move for Yugi but he another ruler so I don’t think I’ll have to worry to much about the day but I’ll stay here from now*
