No More Us
Welcome to Chapter 6. Since Yugi and Yami are now departed...what will
happen now? Enjoy!
Chapter 6: Back to Kaiba Corp
Yugi walks towards Jou's apartment. When he gets there, he knock on the
door.
'Where is he...'
He knocks again.
'Must be at Kaiba's.'
Yugi leaves and heads for another destination.
(Mutou Residence)
Yami grabs his keys and gets in his car.
"If this is how it's gonna be between us...I might as well get on with my
life."
He notices that Yugi's car is still in the garage.
'Where'd he go...no...I don't care.'
He starts his Jag and drives to Kaiba Corp.
'Heh...didn't I quit a few hours ago?'
He gets out and takes the back entrance and goes into the elevator.
(Somewhere on the streets of Domino City)
Yugi is walking slowly. He stops at an intersection.
'I want to go and see Jou, but...I'll go and see Grandpa. He always
help me to relax.'
Yugi crosses the street and goes to 'Domino Recovery Home'. He
goes in and goes to the desk.
"Hi, how may I help you?" The lady says to him.
"Hello. I'm here to see Mutou Sugoroku."
"He's in his recovery class right now. He should be out in about
5 minutes or so. You can wait if you like."
"Ok. I can wait." Yugi says sitting in one of the waiting chairs.
"Are you his great-grandson?"
"No, just his grandson. I don't have any kids. Besides, he's my
father's father."
"I'm sorry, you just look so young."
"I'm 23."
"You look no older than 14."
"I feel better. It used to be 10."
The lady laughs then goes back to work. Yugi paitently waits.
"Sir, you can go and see him now."
"Thanks." Yugi says as he wathrothrough the double doors and to
his grandpa's room.
"Yugi?" Sugoroku asks.
"Yea. It's me Ji-chan. How are you feeling?"
"Horrible. A bit woozy. But much better. Those exercise classes
take all my energy." He replies laughing.
Yugi fakes a laugh.
"What's wrong? Is your mother not feeling well? Did something
happen to the shop? Or...did something happen between you and
Yami?"
"Yami and I broke up."
(Kaiba Corp)
Yami presses '29' on the number pad. The elevator goes up to the
29th floor. Yami walks to his office and opens the door.
'I thought it would be locked...'
The lights come on and he sits in the chair. He notices the game still on
his desk.
'Guess I'll play this...'
He puts the game into his Game Boy Advance and connects it to the
Game Cube. Yami turns on the TV and the Game Cube and begins
playing.
'I'm sorry...aibou. I really hate it has to be this way between us.'
He adjusts his deck then explores the character list.
'Anzu...Honda...Ji-chan...Ryou...Aibou...'
He chooses Yugi.
About halfway through the duel, the door opens. Yami looks up to
see Kaiba standing in the door.
"I didn't expect to see you back here so soon." Kaiba says as
he takes a seat.
"It's amazing what a few hours can do." Yami says as he turns
his attention back to the game.
"So, what has you back here so soon?"
"Things didn't go like I had expected it to."
"Do you blame him? If I ever walk in and see Katsuya fucking
someone else, I'd be pissed and break up with him."
"So, it's ok for you to fuck around?"
"Yea."
"What if Jou was fucking around?"
"Why do you ask?"
"He's been fucking Yugi for the past week."
"Really? I have a bad inu to deal with later."
"It's like you don't care Kaiba."
Kaiba says nothing. Instead he gets up and walks out the door. Yami
goes back to playing the game, but he loses.
'Damn you aibou.'
