Chapter Six
***************
Yuji: Omigod three reviews?!
Yumi: We're glad Nino liked the plushie. It's all yours you did good
Yuji: People kept saying that Yugi's pregnant right off the back just assuming it's him
Yumi: But there's something different with Pegasus' statement
Yuji: Pegasus said Mikano's Hikari
Yumi: And I bet some people forgot that Joey and Yami are brothers making them both Mikano's and they both have Hikaris.
Yuji: Yup meaning it could be Seto or Yugi. Hmm which one is it?
Yumi: I don't know.
Yugi: I'm already traumatized enough won't you leave me alone?
Yuji: Leave you alone? Never!
Seto: So I'm not pregnant
Yumi: We're not saying that. We're keeping it a secret for now.
Yuji: Lets get on with the fic!
***************
The sun was beginning to set so in a dark room Yami's heart started to beat and his lungs filled with air. He opened his eyes completely relaxed realizing who was still in his arms snuggled closely with a contented look on the small one's face. He looked down at him. Yugi. His Hikari. The only thing keeping him sane. He thanked the gods for giving him such a creature. He went into Yugi's mind allowing the boy to wake on his own. As Yugi took his first breath in a gasp Yami chuckled at the cute face.
"Am I going to have to gsed sed to that?" Yugi asked not really wanting to get mad at Yami at the moment. He somehow knew what happened to himself. How his body would've seemed dead to an outsider's eyes but really as he searched Yami's mind a bit he felt slightly comfortable with it. He saw Yami nod and he sighed. He had to cope with a lot of things with this new life of his.
Yami smiled at Yugi feeling happier than he ever felt before. Yugi had started to understand their new life now. He was first scared that Yugi would never understand it and hate him. He felt at peace knowing that it wasn't true. He was glad that Yugi was also willing to accept the changes that's going to happen in his life. He smiled and leaned forward to kiss Yugi's cheek than perfect lips. Don't you wish that all our night could be like last night? He asked in Yugi's mind feeling complete acceptance. He saw Yugi's blush in response and the small boy backed away from embarrassment. He chuckled at the reaction and quickly grabbed Yugi not ready to lose contact with him. He smiled asi cui cuddled into his hard chest.
“Maybe not every night. But I would enjoy it sometimes,” Yugi whispered onto the rock hard surface Yami called a chest. He felt so embarrassed. He decided to give whatever Yami did to him a chance. He might not be gay but maybe it could still work. He just felt so alive when he was around this wild man. He knew if he left that would all change. Once he was with Yami he couldn't be with an other. He sighed hating that he admitted what he tried to deny.
“Whenever you want, love,” Yami answered taking Yugi’s lips into his. He was amazed at how addicting that little mouth was. Yugi was so petite and yet sensual in his own way. The boy just fit so small compared to him. He was strong though and stubborn. Yami felt a sense of pride of Yugi. He didn’t know he could love company so much.
“Yami, do you still not remember anything about your past? Family? Friends? Even Guardians?” Yugi asked with curiosity glowing in his eyes. He wanted Yami to remember everything about his past. He just couldn't understand why Yami would forget. Was it his subconscious? Yugi remembered reading about the subconscious mind. And how when people's mind, when they forget it means what happened they didn't want to remember.
"By family you mean Joey and Seto. By friends you mean the others. And by Guardians you mean whoever protects me," Yami cleared Yugi's question. He didn't know why this innocent being would care so much of something so unnecessary as memories.
"Memories are necessary!" Yugi exclaimed being able to hear Yami's thoughts. He couldn't believe the small rage that welled up inside him. How could Yami think memories are useless? Memories were the only thing letting him remember everything he had with his family. His mother and father. His best friends, Ryou and Malik. His life. "Memories are the most precious thing in the world."
Yami laid there slightly wide-eyed from Yugi's outburst. He never really saw his little love angry and he didn't enjoy it. He kissed Yugi's temple in a calming manner not wanting to frustrate the boy any further. "You are the most precious thing in the world," Yami replied lovingly into Yugi's ear. He saw Yugi about to protest but blocked it by taking the boy's lips into his. "I know I will regain my memories someday with you by my side. But until than we will build on what we have. And if I do remember memories of me and my brother than we will rebuild the relationship we had. But for now I want to stay on protecting you."
"Do I really need protecting?" Yugi whispered softly knowing that in any case Yami would've heard him. "I mean I have Dama and Damagi," Yugi stated looking down at the floor. He felt confusion in his mind and smiled looking up at Yami's confused face. "Dama is short for Dark Magician and Damagi is short for Dark Magician Girl don't you like them? I made it up," Yugi smiled childishly proud of himself for producing adorable nicknames for his so-called Guardians.
Yami growled in irritation at the sound of his lover saying another males name. Yugi laughed from reading that certain thought but Yami let it slide, for the boy had that American sense of humor (Remember they're in Japan!). "I am your main protector. If I am unable to protect you in any case that is when Dark," Yami paused and saw Yugi's hopeful eyes that he'd say the nicknames. He sighed. Yugi was so cute with his soundless pleading and for such names. Yami felt slight joy flutter in his heart knowing this fascinating creature belonged to him. "Dama and Damagi are allowed to protect you," Yami stated pleasing Yugi to the point where the boy had a big happy smile on his face.
“Fine. Just don’t boss me around. I hate that,” Yugi replied getting used to Yami constantly stated how he is going to protect him. He decided that he’d help Yami out with that terrible sense of humor. He wanted to actually see Yami h ath at a joke he hadn’t said. He loved Yami’s rare smile.
“Yugi you are a wonderful creation from god but I wish you’d learned to listen to commands,” Yami sighed feeling that one day Yugi’s defiance will get him hurt. He couldn’t stand the thought of Yugi ever being hurt by an outside force. He just wished he could lock Yugi up in this room and never let him out. Then he’d know that Yugi would be forever safe.
“If you even try that once, Yami Mikano, you will have one grumpy and mean Hikari on your shoulders,” Yugi explained to Yami warning him. He didn’t enjoy the thoughts Yami had but since they were connected Yami always kept their mind link wide open. Not that Yugi minded. He could always feel what Yami had in that head of his. New when the man was going to do something tricky.
Yami smirked at his love’s threat. He was full of male amusement at Yugi because as the boy was giving out the warning he gave a cute pout. “I rather have you somewhere lower, little violet,” Yami chuckled as he whispered huskily into the boy’s ear, licking the earlobe to make his point.
Yugi blushed as a familiar shiver ran through his spine sending sparks of electricity throughout his body, awakening his dormant desires. “Pervert. Not now. We just did it last night,” Yugi stated trying to push away from the wonderful feelings Yami was giving him. He heard Yami chuckle which got him pretty upset but he let it slide enjoying the rare laughter that came from his, he thought for a moment thinking about it and finally finished his thought, lover.
"Little violet, our passion for each other will grow so immensely through the years that itld bld be normal," Yami stated still holding tightly onto the shy Yugi. He still couldn't understand those human emotions. They had so many fears and he couldn't believe how much independence his Hikari had. The boy made it difficult for him.
"Don't count on it you, sex crazed beast," Yugi countered not being one to like what his future would hold. He enjoyed suspense just as good as anyone. He couldn’t believe how Yami was being though. It really felt like the man believed he belonged to him. He wasn’t one to enjoy someone owning him but he’d just see what happens. If he didn’t like it than he’d run. Run far away. Back to America.
“Why do you think about something that won’t happen?” Yami whispered to Yugi sensitive ear enjoying the extra shiver that went down the boy’s spine. He loved the way Yugi’s body responded to him. “You know for a fact that it would tear you apart to leave me. You know that somewhere deep inside your mind,” Yami stated happily to feel Yugi’s own realization. Then to his surprise Yugi leaned up and kissed him. Allowing him to feel the sensations of being loved. Was Yugi really giving himself to him?
Don’t count on it, He heard in his mind. He smirked in the kiss as Yugi dipped his tongue in Yami’s mouth. Yami was enjoying himself at the display of affection from his stubborn Hikari who said it’d never happen. It’s not my fault. You should be outlawed for having a sensuous mouth like this, He smirked again having the most interesting thoughts. So Yugi liked his mouth? That gave him wicked ideas of what to do with the boy.
You’ll have to fulfill those fantasies of yours another time, brother, Yami heard in his mind through a path he didn’t remember he had. He knew it was Joey. Who else would dare use this private link than his brother. If you had not sensed it yet I feel the monster’s ghouls in the forest. We must go and rid of them. Joey strictly commanded in Yami’s mind.
And what of our Hikaris and the female and child?
They’re Guardians will be here to protect them and don’t forget that we’ve created a barrier to protect them from the ghouls of entering, Joey finished stating, ordering for Yami to come immediately so they could return quickly to their Hikaris. Yami sighed as he released his Hikari for the first time that night and got off the bed suddenly clothes materialized on him and Yugi. The boy looked up at him confused at why he would get up.
“I must go for a little while, little violet. Go to the library with the others and I will return shortly,” Yami explained placing a small kiss on Yugi’s naturally pouting lips. He didn’t want to part with this gorgeous creature but he had no choice. It was his duty to protect his Hikari and he would do just that. He was about to walk towards the door when he felt two petite hands wrap themselves around his wrist pausing his movements. He turned his head back to see Yugi standing behind him with pleading eyes.
"Where are you going?" Yugi questioned almost feeling desperate. He felt somewhere deep inside his heart that Yami was going somewhere dangerous and he didn't want to be parted. “Let me go with you,” He said feeling like he couldn’t help but ask even though he knew the answer. Yami wouldn’t put him in any type of danger no matter what. He was lifted in a bridal style by Yami and in just mere seconds they were both in front of the library. He was placed back onto the ground and softly pushed into the room already full of the people he met yesterday.
Immediately when they entered the room Joey, Mako, Mokuba, and Tristan stood up and walked to the balcony waiting for Yami to follow. Yami left Yugi’s side and went to the balcony with the others. The stood there searching for the exact location of where the ghouls are. They needed to find it quickly for sun rise was approaching.
“Isis, Yugi if you sense anything I trust you to protect Seto no matter what,” Mako informed before transforming into a wolf to Yugi’s shock. Where once stood a tall intimidating man now stood on all fours a big black wolf fur glistening in the moonlight. Yugi couldn’t understand how that just happened but than the other transformed also. The body part converting to that of a wolf. Joey stood as tall as Mako as a shiny blonde wolf with harsh, hazel, slit eyes. Mokuba was slightly shorter than his older brother but looked just as intimidating as a black wolf who was much more fury than the others. Tristan was a the only wolf that wasn’t the most strangest. He was the normal shade of brown but was definitely fierce and larger than even Mokuba. And the last one that scared him the worst was the one who he shared a bed with, the one were he even shared a mind with, and even felt his own soul connected to, was transforming into another big blonde wolf with strong, hard muscles contorting to accommodate with the new body shape.
“Mako don’t talk like I can’t defend myself!” Seto exclaimed feeling offended and grunted when he saw the five wolves leave. Mako didn’t even answer him and he felt angry at that. He didn’t like to be assumed weak that he can’t defend himself no matter what those stubborn, overprotective, conceited Yokuroian males thought. And to believe he loved one of them. There must be something wrong with him.
“Seto why’d he ask that?” Yugi questioned uncertain of what he could do if something happened. He didn’t even understand what he was turning into. He stared at Seto who was red from anger.
“Mako is very controlling seeing that everyone wants me to have a kid that can have kids,” Seto huffed still angry that he had no free will of his own. He looked at Yugi’s confused face and sighed, trying to calm down. “In other words they want me to become pregnant with a female or barer. They’re going to want the same from you,” He explained more simpler as he curled himself up in the loveseat he sat in before with Joey.
“Why would they want the same from me?”
“Well Prince Joey doesn’t want our race to end,” Duke finally spoke still holding his child, Tori, in his arms. “And the only way for that to happen is to make females or barers,” He stated his fingers gently playing with Tori’s laughing face. He enjoyed having a child to play and enjoy life with. The boy also seemed to be very fond of Mokuba which happened to catch Duke’s eyes. He wondered what would become of his little boy in the future. But that wasn’t for awhile now. Tori was one day old. He had centuries to find out what would become of his son.
"That doesn't mean I'm going to have any kids," Yugi answered sitting on the second loveseat curled up like Seto in his own seat. For some reason he felt torn in two. Yami blocked their mind link completely. Whenever he even searched for Yami’s mind all he found was bleak, nothingness. Thoughts were racing through his heart telling him Yami was dead or hurt. He tried to use his mind though to come up with logical things. Yami just left no way he could die or get hurt so quickly. He was way to powerful. But even with his reassuring thoughts Yugi couldn't stop the vicious thoughts of bad things happening to Yami. He felt perspiration start on his entire body feeling the ripping torture of being separated from Yami. He didn’t know why though. He thought he should be happy that he didn’t have that overbearing male around him but he couldn’t help but want to cry out for Yami to come back. He needed to have Yami next to him so he could make sure the guy was okay.
Yugi curled into a tighter ball trying to find some leverage in crushing himself. Seto saw that and as gently as possible put his hand on Yugi’s. The small boy looked at him with a forlorn look on his face, close to tears. Seto smiled sympathetically at him patting the boy’s shoulder. “I know it’s tough but just bear with it for a couple of hours. Don’t worry. Yami will be back. All of them will and than you’ll wish they didn’t,” Seto smiled at his own joked as Duke nodded and laughed in agreement. Yugi looked at them as a smile crept onto his features. He could stand being away from Yami for a couple of hours. The man would be back in no time telling him what to do and everything.
“Are you speaking from experience?” Yugi asked looking at Seto a little bit more relaxed. Seto smiled as he nodded from the awful memories. “What happened to you when it happened?” Yugi couldn’t help but ask. He knew that Seto must’ve once been human cause on TV the man was out in bright daylight. So that means he was converted right? Yugi just felt his need for knowledge rise immensely.
“I was still confused of what Joey was and being Yokuroian was was like a lost kitten. Back then I was knew to what your Aibou made you feel so I freaked out whenever Joey tried to touch me or the sort. I still somehow fell for the jerk,” Seto sighed shaking his head in self-shame. He couldn’t believe his life but he was happy. He loved Joey. No matter how the big idiot acted he loved him. “The first night I was separated from Joey was when he got hurt protecting me. Mako said it would be better if I waited in the apartment I was living in at the time. I was psychic and I thought Joey was too cause he could talk to me in my mind but I learned later he was much more. They told me I was destined, born, to be Joey’s Hikari. It was horrible for me though. That night I couldn’t get any sleep at all. Terrible thoughts ran through my head. That I’d never see Joey again, that Joey had died saving me, that Mako wouldn’t let me see him again, and etc. It hurt so much I was thinking of suicide but than Mokuba came to my room and made a strict command to not try anything. So all I did was cry throughout the night,” Seto finished explaining the sad story. Yugi frowned, it sounded a lot like what was happening to him right now. The terrible thought and wanting to cry.
Seto felt slightly embarrassed from telling the story of his past with Joey. It was shameful. He was supposed to be a strong, proud, powerful CEO of Kaiba Corp. and then three years ago a simple man with old power and connection breaks his guard and will. Seto didn’t believe it at first. His life changed ever since he made one small business deal with Joey, at night of course. He hadn’t thought he’d ever fall in love with a male though. He had women from different countries just lining up to marry him or at least get a taste of him and it turned out he’d be craving a male who was overbearing, arrogant, and plain rude in common manners.
“What about you, Duke?” Yugi questioned turning his head towards the man holding the infant.
“I wouldn’t know,” Duke shrugged frowning as Seto did too. “It’s not normal for Yokuroian males to leave their Hikari’s side cause they need them. So whenever Tristan does leave my side he puts me to sleep so I feel nothing,” Duke looked out the window to the dark sky scanning the area for anything dangerous that might come near the mansion but continued to explain. “This is the first ti’ve ’ve actually known I’ve been separated from Tristan but I have little Tori to keep me company,” Duke tickled his son little belly. The child giggled and clutched it’s mother’s hair wanting an anchor in all the laughter.
“What do you mean it’s not normal?”
“Well seeing that you’re new Yugi. I guess I can tell you,” Duke shrugged letting Isis hold his child. “Yokuroian males have a big overprotective and possessive personality as you’ve seen. They take complete control in the protection and happiness of their Hikaris to well. It hurts to be separated from your Aibou long so they normally command the Hikari to sleep,” Duke explained the common knowledge.
“So we have no will?”
“Basically.”
“But when you say males why can’t that include us? We’re guys too,” Yugi insisted and he swore he heard laughing coming from Yami’s mind but it was gone as quickly as it came. He didn’t appreciate getting laughed at and only wanted to understand more. What Duke was saying did explain a lot of why the guys acted that way but only the guys who weren’t barers.
“In our race we are males but barers. We’re mocked and treated as women. That’s why we do not act like them. We are supposed to be Hikaris not brutes like our Aibous,” Duke answered frowning but not quite the sad. He didn't mind. He was raised to be a barer so he was used to being treated like a woman. He didn't enjoy it as a child but that was what he had to live with. But at least he had Tristan by his side to make it better. Always, He heard in his mind but it quickly faded into nothingness. He wasn't sure if it was his Aibou or just his thoughtful thinking. He wasn't sure. He looked at Yugi who still seemed confused from his explanation. He sighed thinking he should make it blunt, "In our race we're considered women."
"What?" Yugi jumped out of his seat shocked and offended. Unlike some of these people he had his male pride to him as a man. It's worse that Yami might be turning him queer (I'd love if the man really did that but remember Yugi grew straight is suddenly gay so...bare with him. Pity him even.) but now people treating him like a girl is going way to far. He didn't want to be treated like a priceless vase that could break at any second or a delicate flower that needs tending to. He could take care of himself and definitely could stand up for himself with power and force. His maddening thoughts came to a halt from Isis' and Seto's increasing laughter. They seemed to try to hold back by covering their mouths with their hands but it was of no use. Yugi gave them a confused look and demanded an explanation.
"I think Duke went a little to forward to saying that we're considered women," Seto laughed as he held his gut realizing that the lack of air was hurting him. He tried to breathe steadily and calm his mind again. There was still a laughing smile on his face but he controlled it as best he could. "We're not considered women as much as the males are just very overprotective and don't want to see us hurt. The males know we're guys and somewhat respect that. So don't worry. We are still guys and aren't even close to being considered women unless you count the we can become pregnant part," Seto joked as a wide smile spread across his face. Yugi calm down somewhat and sat back down to his seat with an upset humph. Seto was laughing at him slightly and the small boy blushed.
Yugi and the others talked. As always Yugi was curious about the way Yokuroians are. He wanted to understand Yami more if he might ever commit to the man. He learned more about their powers like the being part of nature. That's why in vampire horror shows the vampires like being underground. Explained a couple of things like why the gardens around the house were amazing and beautiful. They could also speak to animals or creatures and command them to do things. Yugi than understood why he and his dog got along so well and so did he and his bird. He learned that some Yokuroians could shape-shift like what he saw the others do. He wanted to know if he could and Seto said it was possible because he could. He learned about them being able to chant spells using their voices which were supposed to be hypnotically powerful or that's what Seto said. They said other powers like control over even nature or even telepathy which sounded cool to Yugi. He never knew these types of powers were possible but he wanted to know if Yami could perform them also.
“Only some of the most powerful Yokuroians like Joey, Mako, or even Yami can do the really effective powers for they’ve lived longer and trained harder. I mean Joey and Yami were born to train hard. They are the princes,” Seto stated mention he could only do some of the powers but he was still new at them and had centuries to practice. That’s what Yugi had to talk about though. How long could Yokuroians live? He kept hearing that their age differences are centuries apart which should be impossible.
“Seto how long do Yokuroians live?” Yugi asked being the only one in the room who didn’t know. Excluding Tori for he was too young to know anything than the things he knew as a baby. He felt strange being around people who could be old enough to have known his, well, more than 10 great grandparents.
“Almost eternity.”
“How?”
“Well they can die. They’re not completely immortal. We can die from mortal injuries unless we heal them immediately or we could chose to age and die or if we don’t find our Hikaris/Aibous than we might commit suicide by walking into the sun,” Seto finished explaining. He saw Yugi’s wide eyed and knew instantly why which made him laugh. “Yes the USA was right when they said we can’t stand the sun. Well Yokuroians can but not turned.”
“So I can still go walk outside when there’s light out?” Yugi asked hopeful. Ever since he was little he loved the sun only because it was a time he could spend time with only his mother. The sun brought back great memories. But Seto shook his head and he lost that small hope, "But."
“I said we can stand it but we will feel very uncomfortable. And we’ll be burned if we’re out when the sun is at it’s highest and brightest. We could be outside when the sun is going up the horizon and lowering but middle of the day is our worst hour. We can take it when it’s a little up and we’re in shadows though,” Seto tried to cheer up the depressed boy. He remembered that he acted the same way when he found out. It was hard on him too but he couldn’t do anything for Yugi. He felt helpless. He hated that feeling.
“So I really do have to become a creature of the night,” Yugi said in surprise to himself still in slight shock. He wanted Yami now badly. He felt that empty void in him emptying even more as he learned this new information. He needed Yami he knew that now but he hated learning it the hard way. He than heard Duke’s horrified gasp.
“Tristan,” Duke whispered clutching his heart tightly. Seto and Isis stood up quickly and ran to the man’s side. The man had tears swelling up in his eyes ready to be released any second now. He began to sob hard feeling the pain and emptiness knowing that Tristan was hurt badly. He was frightened and clutched to Seto tightly scared to come to reality and know what happened.
Yugi didn’t know what was going on but than saw something so grotesque it horrified him. A bloody scene ugly, gruesome creatures on the ground dead and some still fighting. He felt the mind link between him and Yami. He gasped at what Yami was seeing and wanted to close his eyes. Don’t! Yami commanded strictly for the boy not to lose them. Yugi felt hurt and scared by this all but listened to Yami’s voice hoping that it would work on him so he wouldn’t close his eyes. I’m sorry Hikari but if you close your eyes so will I and I must watch and fight. Don’t worry about the brown haired man. He is fine. The healer says that it is not a mortal wound and the man is still fighting anyway. Please don’t worry. I promise you we will defeat these ghouls and come back before sunrise. With that last message Yugi felt the mind link shut and the void come again. He was so happy to hear Yami’s voice again bt wat was gone to soon. He got up and walked towards Duke putting a reassuring hand on the man’s shoulder.
“Tristan is okay. Yami said the guy is so stubborn that he’s still fighting,” Yugi saw a smile come across Duke’s heartbroken face. He felt the torn up mother hug in thanks and relaxed himself and his baby. He only felt the pain in Tristan but still didn’t know what was happening. It seemed his Aibou really is stubborn.
Everyone went back into their seats unsure of what to do. Should they just talk or wait in silence until their loved ones returned. Yugi felt edgy about all this. Was he really supposed to just seat here all the time waiting to see if Yami survived a battle with ugly monsters? He couldn't help but feel slightly angry about that. Than a nervous feeling washed over him and he knew it belonged to himself. He felt frightened like something was approaching. His blood raced, his heart beating at a fast pace. He didn't know why though. He didn't see anything. "I think someone's here."
Seto looked at Yugi wide eyed in shock not believing that Yugi would get so sad without Yami that he'd start becoming delusional. Seto, Isis, and even Duke scanned their perimeters and got nothing. They shook their heads, "There's nothing out there, Yugi. Trust me. I looked," Seto replied softly knowing Yugi would be able to hear with his growing hearing ability.
Yugi just curled into a tighter ball his eyes looking around the room frantically feeling uncomfortable. He could feel something. Dark, Ugly, coming closer to him. He felt his blood race anxious. He felt something sinister in his mind and he couldn't understand what. "Something's there. I can feel it," Yugi whispered frightened. Dama and Damagi appeared next to him sensing his great discomfort. Yugi kept starting out of the balcony window not being able to see outside but feels something there.
"Master Yugi, if it makes you feel better I shall go check," Yugi nodded in response and that was it. Damagi flew out of the balcony and the next thing that happened would scar Yugi for life. The happy, energetic girl was curled up in the air, a scared look in her eyes. Everyone froze when they saw a snake start to wrap itself around her. She screamed in horror and pain when the snake bit into her back and sucked away her blood along with her defenses. She was than shoot with would splinters shooting at her skin, cutting away even parts of her armor. She cried in pain and fell onto the balcony. Dama and the other guardians raced to assist their fallen friend and Yugi was frozen in shock looking at the almost died look on Damagi.
Seto quickly got up and grabbed Duke, Isis followed grabbing little Tori. Seto ran to a small hidden closet that would only fit two people. Without listening to any arguments he push Duke, Tori, and Isis in saying that one was a mother with child and the other was a woman. He might've been able to fit Yugi but the small boy was stuck to the seat he was in.
Monsters rose up to the balcony to face the guardians. The guardians were all familiar with the disgraceful ghouls. One looked like a monster tree known as Inpachi, another was a knight atop of a dragon the knight known as Dragon Manipulator, a sad, pouting child with red hair and blue eyes holding a basket of red roses named The Unhappy Maiden, and the strongest a blue sinister vampire looking creature with white hair called Patrician of Darkness. (Remember all real cards. Go look them up)
"Why have you come?" Dama asked fiercely stand in front of his wounded sister not liking the injuries they put upon her. He stared menacingly at Patrician of Darkness. He knew that if it wasn't for that certain ghoul his sister would still be well and healthy by his side protecting their Master. Patrician smirked at him before he starteughiughing insanely, cueing the other ghouls to start attacking.
The guardians could fight on their own but where having some difficulties. They were finally getting a lead until Paoda (1) chanted a spell that shocked everyone else in the room,
"From the land of darkness
Bring your power
Open The Dark Door
To our darkest hour."
Suddenly a light door appeared in front of them. It was known as the Dark Door. It's magic is the only one opponent can battle with another at a time. They were supposed to pick who first should fight. The ghouls chose Unma (2) the sad child walked through the door and stood waiting for her opponent.
"I shall fight," Lord D. said walked close to the door. Vathr (3) stood in front of him moving him back to the group. She thought that this wasn't a time for the men to get cocky and become stupid for no reason. Damagi was hurt and she didn't need anyone else getting hurt.
"Think about this before you throw yourself to the lions, D."
"She's a child."
"Who could have powers," Nisha (4) replied reminded him of special abilities. D. ignored them and ran through the door facing the small girl. She looked up at him with sad, forlorn eyes and a frown no one could resist. He lifted up his talons prepared to attack but stopped when her sweet small voice spoke.
"You're not really going to attack me are you?" Unma asked innocently dropping one of her roses. A tear slid down her cheek and D. completely retreated not able to attack something seeming to pure and innocent un-violent. He knew it was a trick though. Deep in his mind he knew. He tried to fight and then decided to use his own power.
"Don't underestimate me," He commanded as he used part of his power to summon two other Luedra (5). Big and strong dragon appeared on the field than Unma smirked happily. D. was confused at why the ghoul was smiling like she wanted him to do exactly that.
"You fool!" He heard Vathr yell at him as the two Luedra leave the field and stand next to Dragon Manipulator. He realized by summoning the dragons the ghouls monster could take control of them. He was frozen. He couldn't battle. If he summoned something else it would just be taken. He walked through the Dark Door back to his so-called "team" as Unma did also.
He walked past everyone feeling ashamed of letting the enemy trick him so easily. He went next to the original Luedra and the dragon nuzzled him in sympathy. He patted the nuzzle whispering, "You better not fight either. They'll take control of you."
"I see no choice but for me to fight," Dama replied entering the Dark Door. He found himself face to face with Paoda. He was repulsed but hid it well. He saw a vicious smirk come to Paoda's face. He took a stance ready for battle at anytime.
As the monsters fought two figures walked into the room silently undetected. They saw Mikano's Hikari who should be pregnant and were surprised to see the other figure be of the same description that Ryou and Malik had given them of their lost friend. They smirked thinking about having something else to use for fun.
They walked closer certain that Pegasus will be very satisfied with their findings.
"I don't think you want to attack me, Dark Magician. I think you want to go to defense position," Paoda stated as his hypnotic eyes gazed into Dama's magically commanding him to change. Dama tried to resist but eventually went on his knees and raised his staff in a defense. Paoda smirked as he saw the great Dark Magician on his knees. Another snake wrapped itself around Dama and bit him to weaken the Magician's defense.
Paoda was planning on attacking and getting rid of the Magician immediately but than he heard the other walking away and chuckled. He was about to walked out through the dark door but was interrupted by the Dark Magician. "Where are you going? Our fight isn't over."
"Actually it is. And it's your lucky day. I'm not going to kill you. Bye," Paoda said running out of the building as his allies followed him. The magic Dark Door disappeared and Dama was able to stand up again. He could sense the other Yokuroians racing to get back to the mansion and he looked around seeing the damage done. He than noticed something as Luedra cried out in fear and horror. His eyes than widened along with everyone else's.
"Where's Master Yugi and Seto?"
