"You have no idea what you've done." Yami clenched his fists, fighting the darkness that threatened to overtake the small apartment room. He knew his light could be reckless at times but this was a new level for even him. "He has no control over himself at times. You took advantage of that."
"I did not. He started it. I just...didn't stop him." The mental barrier between the two slammed into place leaving Yugi reeling for a moment. "Don't do that. I don't like it. I never have. You're just jealous."
He was baiting him. Yami knew it. He still fell for it every time. "Yes. I am very jealous. Whenever I see you with him. I see the looks you give him. I sense the desperation you feel to have him notice you and I hate it."
Yugi went wide eyed and edged his way towards Jou's still form. He pressed his back against the blonde, refusing to meet the crimson eyes of his dark.He wasn't worried about himself. Yami wouldn't hurt him. Yugi had learned that long ago when the bond that connected them was still new and unexplored. When Yugi was,for the most part, still unaware of his dark's presence. Sure he had been reckless with the others body but never had he actually hurt him. Jou however was a wild card in this game. He was Yugi's friend first and there were times when he wondered if the only reason Yami liked his friends was the fierce loyalty he himself felt towards them. It wouldn't have been the first time his emotions made the other man do something he normally wouldn't. Of course Yami had a mind of his own as well and it was full of stubborn pride. He didn't like losing. He would do almost anything to win.
"Yugi, look at me."
The violet eyed man shook his head mutely.
"My little light. Do you truly believe I would harm him? You act as if I'm some monster you have to protect him from. He's my friend. And you, little one, are my soul mate. I couldn't bring myself to do anything that would harm you."
"You have before. Or have you forgotten that it was my soul that was forfeit in that stupid game you just had to win. I told you not to play that card and you did. Why should I believe you?"
Amber eyes were starting to regain their focus. Jou would be coming around soon. It was time to end this argument. Yami moved swiftly, catching tri colored spikes in his hands and forcing Yugi's head up. He dropped the barrier between them and when his light gasped in surprise he took advantage. His lips sealed over the others. He had thought about this for months and now there was no reason not to. Yugi needed to know that they belonged together. And if that meant bringing the blonde along for the ride so be it.
Jou stumbled backwards, landing against the refrigerator door and sliding down it. He had blacked out again and when he had come around it was to the scene currently taking place in his lap. He considered briefly trying to get out from under the two then decided against it as Yami shifted Yugi higher and placed him in a very compromising place. Namely more firmly between Jou's spread thighs. A small moan tried to work it's way out but he swallowed it back. His hands came up to push his smaller friend away but a low growl stopped him. Yami was glaring at him with something close to anger on his face. This time he wasn't able to stop the moan.
Yugi whined in desperation when Yami's mouth suddenly left his. He started forward to make the other continue what he had been doing when an arm looped around his waist. He turned his head slowly. "Jou?"
"What are you two doing?" Jou grinned at the blush staining his friends cheeks. "That's what I thought. Do you mind letting me get up? This isn't exactly a comfortable position to be in you know."
Yami gave him a sly smile. He placed a bent finger against Jou's lips and urged him to open his mouth slightly. "I don't think Yugi would like that very much. You want to make Yugi happy don't you."
Jou nodded slightly. Nothing made sense right now but if Yami was willing to involve him then he was willing to give it a shot. Besides, these were his friends. They would stop if he wanted them to. They weren't like Marik. Fear jolted though his body. He pushed the others away and staggered to his feet breathing hard.
"Katsuya?" Yugi sat on the floor staring up at frightened eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Come on Ryou. You aren't still mad are you?" Malik leaned across the back of the couch and looked down at the lump of covers curled up on it.
"I'm not mad. I'm frustrated."
Malik laughed and jumped the couch landing on the other side. "I can help with that."
"I don't need your help" was the muffled reply. "The last time you tried to help I ended up on my ass on the floor. Remember? Somehow your help always ends with me getting hurt."
"Does not."
"Battle City."
"Not my fault. Your yami has some serious issues. Seriously, I thought mine was bad but yours is worse." He poked at the covers. "Come on Angel."
"Quit calling me that."
"You're being stubborn. Get out from under those covers right this instance." No response came from the ugly orange and brown...thing that Ryou was hiding under. He was getting the other man out from under the blanket one way or another. He was too old to be hiding from something so stupid. Putting his shoulders against the side of the couch he put his feet against what he hoped was Ryou's shoulder and prepared to push. A sound from the hall stopped the blonde in mid shove. Malik turned his head to the side looking at the doorway as Bakura sauntered in. "Hey, it's Lucifer himself. And how are you this beautiful morning Lucy? Waiting to take us all by the hand and lead us through hell? We'll all skip along behind you. After all we hate to see you go but love to watch you walk away."
Bakura was not in the mood for his sometimes lover or his humor. He needed to get something through his light's thick head. He had waited long enough. "Get out."
Malik rolled off the couch with a sigh. "You're right. I bet it's cold in hell. After all you're here and not out trying to track down Marik so I'm going to assume you went with a Winter Wonderland theme. I'll go get my jacket."
"Yeah you do that."
Malik headed for the door patting the lump of covers on his way Out. "Try not to scare him too much."
Bakura rolled his eyes. Stupid lights and their damned caring crap. "I won't."
"I wasn't talking to you. You just try not to be too vulgar. Remember if you hurt him all he has to do is open the link and you'll feel it too. Bye Ryou. Scream if you need me. Later Lucy."
Ryou curled into a tighter ball when he felt the couch sink with the weight of another person. His body ached, his mind was a jumbled mess and to top it all off he could feel Bakura trying to force his way past the mental wall he had put up. He could just let it drop but that would be mean. Or maybe that would be justice. What to do?
The yami growled as his light suddenly let the block between them fall. It was a headrush. And not a good one. It was like falling. He could feel it in the pit of his stomach. "Ra damn it! Why do you do things like that?"
"Because I can." Brown eyes suddenly peeked out from under the cover. "And because you deserve it you fucking bastard."
Laughter came bubbling out as the tomb robber pulled his other half out of his self made cocoon by his wrist. "So you get be pissed off. I was beginning to think all you did was cry."
"Let me go or I'll bite you." Ryou pulled back putting more strain on his wrist. It would bruise but who cared. When that didn't work he went limp trying to force his yami to let go or end up on the floor with him.
"Stop being so childish. I want to talk to you." Bakura hauled him up and pulled him against his chest.
Fine. Be that way Ryou lunged forward knocking them both off balance. He grinned at the surprised grunt the other made as they hit the floor. "Let me go!"
'You want to play rough then that's what we'll do but remember Hikari it was your idea. I tried to be nice.' Bakura rolled taking care to not bash the smaller one's head into the coffee table too hard. He shoved his legs between Ryou's and caught his wrists on a tight grip above his head.
Ryou bucked trying to move the other but Bakura was stronger than he was not to mention taller and heavier. So he did the only thing he could think of. He made good on his earlier threat and reared up to sink his teeth into the dark's shoulder biting him through his t-shirt. He'd draw blood if he had to.
Bakura froze. 'Oh fuck. Harder Angel. You need to bite harder.'
Huh? The hands that had been holding him down had loosened and were trailing down his arms. It was too good to be true. He bit harder, grinding his teeth into the soft skin. He moved quickly hoping that the other was distracted enough not to notice what he was doing. Taking hold of the spiked bangs in front of him he shoved himself up and Bakura down, pulling his mouth away at the last moment so not to loose any teeth. Unfortunately for him he forgot one small detail. Bakura still had hold of him.
Ryou was shaking. Bakura wasn't sure what exactly had happened And he wasn't sure he cared. All that seemed to matter was the fact that he had a death grip on Ryou's waist and his light had blood smeared across his lips. Blood that Ryou had caused to flow on his own. His light who wouldn't hurt anyone on purpose had made him bleed. And would do it again if the thoughts flowing across the link could be trusted. "Sexy as all hell."
"Huh?"
So Marik had been right. Sometimes in order to get someone to do what you wanted you had to force them into a situation where they had no other options. Maybe he should reward his light for that little display.
"What are you smiling abou-Eep!" A warm hand shoved his pants down and fisted him before he could finish his thought.
Arching in the rough touch he wondered dimly what he had done right. Whatever it was he would have to do it again if it got this reaction. He threw his head back and yanked harder on the hair he still held in his hands. Bakura groaned around him. Ryou let his legs fall open wider. Every nerve in his body seemed to be centered in that one area. He was caught in a cycle of pleasure as wave after wave of heat washed over him. Every time Bakura's tongue rubbed against him or the spirit sucked Ryou would pull at his hair. Encouraging him to keep it up. The most fascinating thing was every time he did his yami would double his efforts at making his light come.
Everything was getting fuzzy at the edges. 'Kura...'
'Let go Angel. It's okay to let go this time.'
His world went white as Ryou tumbled over the edge. 'Kura!'
Bakura lapped up his prize before letting the other slip from his mouth. Looking down at the dazed man he let his pride trickle down the link. 'Good boy.'
I've finally lost my mind. This can't be real.

Mai glanced at the caller ID slightly surprised to see Yugi and Jou's number. "Moshi Moshi."
"Mai?"
"Yami?" She hadn't expected to hear the voice of Yugi's alter on other end and fear twisted in her stomach. "What's wrong? Who's hurt?"
Deep laughter echoed across the line. "No one for once. Do I only ever call you with bad news?"
"Yeah actually you do. So everyone's okay?"
"Everything's fine."
That's not what I asked the busty blonde thought. "Then why are you calling?"
"I have a question for you. Has Anzu been acting...oddly lately?"
"Odd? No. Not anymore than usual I mean. Why?"
"No reason. Yugi's been acting like he's hiding something. I thought maybe she knew what was going on. Is she home?"
"No. And even if she was I'm not sure it'd be a good idea for you to talk to her. She's still pretty broken up over the whole you not loving her thing you know." This is why they had gotten caller ID. So Mai could keep the younger woman she had come to think of as a sister from having to speak to anyone who would remind her of why she had left Domino in the first place.
"I did what I thought was best. I care for her deeply but my life is not for her. I don't want to see her get hurt."
"So you hurt her instead of waiting for someone else do to it."
A heavy sigh. A pause. "I did not mean for it to end the way it did. I truly thought I was doing what was best for her. If I could make her pain fade I would. I would give my heart and soul to make it so."
"Always the hero. You save the day but not yourself. You even have all the words to be the lover just not the heart. Tame your own demons first. Be the man she can trust. Then talk to her."
Yami hung the phone up and stared at it. 'No help from them. I told you that you should have called.'
'Yeah well I figured since Jou locked himself in the bathroom when you tried to touch him that maybe I should be the one to try to get him to come out.'
'And how's that coming along little one?'
'Not so good.'

Mokuba stretched trying to work the knots out of his back. He had been sitting at the desk in the study for the past three hours trying to figure out a string of code that seemed to have a fatal flaw in it. Whenever it was inserted into the program the whole system crashed. He just couldn't figure out why. "I hate computers."
"Oh come on. They aren't that bad."
"Bad enough. This is Seto's area of expertise not mine."
Otogi grinned at his friends younger brother. The teen loved playing the games their company made he just hated making them.
"Stand up and turn around. Hold onto the back of the chair."
Mokuba did as he was told as strong fingers kneaded at the knots in his shoulders. Gently at first then a little harder trying to coax them to unbunch. "Ow."
"Man up. A little pain now makes it feel better later." Green eyes studied the curve of the body in front of him. Seto's baby brother was growing up. With his hair cut the way it was he could easily pass for being in his early 20's. That could cause problems. "Hey Moku? Why don't you have a girlfriend."
The muscles that had begun to relax tensed again. This was not a subject he wanted to discuss with the raven haired dice master. "No time for one I guess. First there was school and cram school and exams and now there's the company. Besides it's pain in the ass to date. Why don't you have a girlfriend?"
"Not interested. Too many other things to do. Same as you." The green eyed man hadn't missed the tension radiating from Mokuba's frame. Something was up. Looked like Seto had been right about something after all. His friend had mentioned that his brother had been on edge lately about something. The only thing the elder Kaiba had been wrong about was his theory that it had something to do with a girl. He leaned more weight against Mokuba's back noting the fact the other braced himself to better hold the extra weight. "Besides I have my eye on someone else."
"Mmm. Big Brother. You'd have to pry him away from work first. Good luck with that task. It'd take an act of god." He rolled his shoulders forward as those talented fingers worked their way up to his neck. His chin dropped to his chest and his eyes slid closed. He could stand here and let Otogi do this for the rest of the day.
"You're purring."
Mokuba's eyes opened slightly when he felt the warm whisper against his ear. "I don't purr. I'm not a cat and only cats purr. Keep rubbing."
"Yes sir." Another deep rumble rose from the teen's chest. I wonder what other noises I can get him to make.

Purest One as sung by Etro Anime
It was my weakest night between the dark and light
The look in your eyes and disturbing surprise
I could not see wrong from right
But I never really was the purest one
Though I try to cleanse my soul with every sun
And I just get deeper in the same shit doesn't everyone
Close my eyes and play along
Cause I am a tempted girl
This is a candied world
And it spreads like fire
And when it devours me I call the burning fun
But I never really was the purest one
Though I try to cleanse my soul with every sun
And I just get deeper in the same shit doesn't everyone
Close my eyes and play along
Can I hush my conscience around you
If I could take it all back
Will I lie and suffocate my impulses
I'll never leave them behind
Will I
But I never really was the purest one
Though I try to cleanse my soul with every sun
And I just get deeper in the same shit doesn't everyone
Close my eyes and play along
Will I fly closer to heaven
If I don't get what I want
Will you ever see the innocence you knew in me
I'll never be her again
But I never really was the purest one
Though I try to cleanse my soul with every sun
And I just get deeper in the same shit doesn't everyone
Close my eyes and play along
I never lied to you
