A Year With You

Jou smirked as Seto shifted for the tenth time in the past five minuets. He had to give his lover credit because Seto was trying to at least get along with Yugi, Ryou, and Marik. However, his lover was clearly suffering. Yugi was talking about how happy he was that Seto was making an effort to be friends with his friends and how he thought that was important to every relationship. Seto shifted again and the foot tapping started. Jou bit the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing. He loved Seto and he did want his lover to get along with his friends but Yugi and friendship speeches were not his lover’s cup of tea. “Seto, can you go see what kinds of pie they have.” His lover nodded and made his way swiftly to the counter. Jou turned to his best friend and smiled. “Yugi, I know you are excited about Seto trying and how important friendship is to you, but can you tone it down a bit. Seto is trying really hard to like you or at least tolerate all three of you and it doesn’t help if you shove friendship down his throat. He’s not the most social of all people in the world and a lot has happened to him, where he has a really hard time trusting people. So please, for me just take it down a bit.”

Yugi looked at Jou, then glanced at Ryou, who gave him a very small nod. He turned to his best friend and sighed deeply. “I know a lot has happened to him.” He said, softly. Jou’s face went stony and his best friend leaned forward. “Yugi, I love ya man, but you don’t know shit.” He took another deep breath and let it out slowly. “I know his stepfather used to rape him. I also know that he was sold to other people to seal a deal with Kaiba Corp when it was under his stepfather’s control.” Jou sat back slowly his face blank. “How?” He looked at his hands then into gold eyes. “I’ve seen tapes of what happened to him.” Jou’s face went from blank to murderous. He looked to Ryou and Marik for help but the other two were looking anywhere but at him.

Seto paused as he came back over to the table. Every one was quiet and his puppy was fuming in rage. “Seto, we are going.” His wrist was grabbed in a vice like grip and he was promptly marched from the coffee shop. He pulled Jou to a stop and stroked some stray strands from Jou’s face. “What happened, puppy?” Jou shrugged and sighed deeply, pulling him in for a kiss. “I’m not sure. We were just talking and I just got really mad.” Seto sighed and kissed Jou’s head, mumbling something under his breath. “Go talk to your friends, Jou. I am going to work. I have had my fill of Yugi for today. I’ll try again another time.” He walked off after giving his puppy a quick kiss on the lips.

Jou stood for a while watching Seto head to the office and he sighed once his lover was out of sight. He turned and headed back into the coffee house and looked over his three friends. “Show me.” Yugi nodded slowly. Jou turned to the waiter and asked for the bill and the waiter smiled. “Kaiba-san already paid for everything.” Jou felt a little more love for his dragon in knowledge that Seto really was trying. He turned to his friends and nodded as they headed out.

Ryou looked to Bakura then made a small movement pointing out Jou. His other half heaved a heavy sigh but nodded. Jou flopped on the couch and Bakura set up the video and hit play. Ryou looked at his dark and his hand was taken gently.

Jou wasn’t sure what to expect from the video so all he could do was sit and watch in silent horror. The man he loved was on that video having things done to him that most people never even thought of in their worst dreams. Some one grabbed his hand and he looked at Yugi, who was lending his silent support. He nodded and stood turning off the tape no longer able to face the young version of his lover in pain. “I…I think I need to go see Seto.” His three friends nodded and Bakura laid a gentle hand on his shoulder. “Jou, we don’t want to tell him about the videos. We want him to be happy with you. However, you know him better, so I think you should decide.” He nodded once to the ancient thief and turned heading to Kaiba Corp to hold and kiss his lover.

Seto almost leaped from his skin when Jou flopped into his lap. His face was pulled down for a desperate and rather melancholy kiss. He cupped a sweet face and studied the expression his puppy wore. It was something caught between pain, longing, and confusion. “What’s wrong, pup?” He asked softly and Jou just sighed deeply. “Nothing really. I was just missing you. I love you, Seto.” He smiled feeling just a little (a lot) pleased that Jou just wanted to see him. “I missed you, too, Jou. Want to have lunch?” His blond lover shook his head and snuggled into him. “I’m not hungry.” Seto blinked and laid a hand on Jou’s head. His puppy didn’t feel warm, but that didn’t mean that Jou wasn’t coming down with something. “Are you feeling ok, Jou? You are always hungry. Are you sure there is nothing wrong?”

Jou could hear the concern in his lover’s voice but he couldn’t find it in himself to meet the beautiful blue eyes he so loved. He was afraid of what he might see behind those blue eyes. “I’m fine, Seto.” A strong hand grabbed his chin and he looked at his love. Blue eyes held only concern but deep down there were shadows of pain. Then there was love, which was blinding and brilliant. He held on to that warm love and kissed his lover deeply. “Nothing is wrong, Seto. I’m just tired. I want to go home and sleep all snuggled with my dragon but I have to work.” Seto smiled and kissed him deeply hitting a button. “Chisa, do I have anything planned for the next hour or so?” Jou looked at the phone then at his lover. “No, you don’t have anything till four.” Seto nodded, clearly thinking. Jou held up five fingers showing what time he had to be to work. “Please see that I’m not disturbed by anyone till three thirty.” Jou heard Seto’s sectary snicker but she gave a silent agreement.

Seto smiled at his puppy lifting him up and carrying him over to a small door. Jou grabbed the knob and pulled open the door blinking at the small bed it held. “I need a power nap every now and then.” Seto felt Jou sigh and he looked down at his smiling puppy. “So I can nap and cuddle with you till I have to go to work?” Seto nodded and Jou kissed him softly, letting out a tired sigh. Seto lay on the small bed and pulled his puppy close and they both drifted into a light sleep. Seto was content with the fact that Jou just wanted to be with him.

Jou lay awake for a long while just snuggled into Seto. He had seen what his lover went through and he knew it was only part of it. Tears filled his eyes knowing that crying wouldn’t help but he felt he needed to. His father would get drunk and beat him but when his dad was sober, he’d see what he had done and it killed a small part of his dad every time because his dad loved him. What he had seen, he knew that Gozoburo Kaiba held no love for Seto. Yet, deep down he felt Seto did love his step father. After all, he did keep the Kaiba name. It made his heart bleed thinking of Seto so young and innocent loving that monster. “Puppy, what’s wrong?” Jou’s head snapped up and he blinked at beautiful blue eyes. “What’s wrong?” His lover gently touched his hand and then wiped his tears away from his face. He looked into blue eyes for a long time at a loss of what to say. “You’re crying.” Jou looked at his lover for a long time then burst into tears. “Seto, I don’t get it! I don’t get how some one so wonderful like you can love a nobody like me.”

Seto pinched his puppy, hearing a small yelp. He cupped a beautiful face in his hands and kissed soft lips. “Jou, it’s so easy for me to love you. You are loyal, loving, honest, brave, strong, caring, compassionate, passionate, and you are beautiful. Jou, I wonder every day how you came to love me because I have so little to offer when you have so much to give. Please Jou, you have no reason to doubt that I love you and why I love you. I’m so grateful that you could love some one like me. You make me happy.” Liquid gold eyes stared at him for a long time then all of a sudden Jou was kissing him desperately. He held his puppy close kissing him back with the same reckless abandon.

Jou pulled away from the kiss and clung to Seto with all of his strength. His heart was so full of love for his beautiful dragon. He started pressing heated kiss against a slender throat and nibbled at the spot by Seto’s ear he knew would make his love writhe in pleasure. Seto moaned and arched against him. “Jou, don’t start something you don’t intend to finish.” His lover whined. Jou did a double take. Did Seto Kaiba seriously just whine? He smirked and kissed his lover hard. “Oh, I plan to finish what I started.” He looked around the small room for something to use as lube when his lover shifted and opened a small drawer under the bed pulling out a bottle and waving it in front of his face. He smirked and kissed his lover again then stripped them both quickly. He kissed his lover again, slowly stretching his sweet dragon. All the images of rape and pain were pushed to the back of his mind as mindless pleasure took over.

Seto arced clutching on to Jou as he was thrust into. Soft kissed rained over his face in a small apology. He roughly grabbed Jou’s hair and forced their mouths together in a heated kiss. Their tongues battled to the rhythm that their bodies set. “Jou, Jou, Jou.” He called his lover’s name in pure rapture reciting it like a prayer or a demand.

Jou latched his mouth onto Seto’s neck marking his lover as his own as he picked up the pace. The coiling of heat low in his belly told him he had almost hit his peak. He reached between their bodied grabbing a velvet covered length and stroked it in time with the ancient rhythm they had set. Seto let out a growl and clamped around him. Jou felt his peak hit and he grabbed his love in a kiss as they both came together. He then laid his head on Seto’s shoulder, just breathing in the scent of Seto and sex. He placed lazy kisses along a slender pale neck and sighed in bliss.

Seto ran his fingers through golden hair then let his fingers trace a lazy trail down Jou’s arm. He ran his fingers up and down silken skin, feeling the play of muscles beneath his fingers. Sudden amusement struck him and he couldn’t suppress the laugh that bubbled from his lips. “What’s so funny, koi?” He snickered and looked into curious golden eyes. “We really are horny teenagers. I’ve had so many dreams about having sex in my office.” Jou stared at him for a few seconds then burst into peals of laughter. He joined his lover suddenly finding the whole thing very amusing.

Chisa couldn’t contain her giggles. She didn’t really have to. Lucky for Seto and Jou the top floor was empty except for her. She placed her head in her arms and slammed her hand on her desk laughing. The elevator dinged and her head snapped up. Her husband strolled though and smiled at her holding out a box. “I brought you and Seto lunch. Should I leave it in his office?” She broke into more giggles and her husband gave her a blank look. “He is in the office with Jou. He is not to be disturbed for any reason until 3:30.” Her husband blinked then the loud call of ‘JOU’ broke the silence. She started to snicker as her husband blushed. “Oh, I see. Well, I guess I’ll just leave it with you then.” She smiled and pulled her husband down for a kiss. “How about you stay for a bit?”

ehehehehe..........um well...yeah i guess I'm back once more. My beta kinda went MIA on me. As for me well I don't know. I've been feeling unmotivated to write or even look at fanfiction....so here is chapter 30. For the next chapter however things might be a tad confusing. chapter 31 is lost some where in cyber space and refuses to be found so I'm skipping it and moving right along to chapter 32. Some of the next chapters will not be edited because of my lost beta. I'm currently looking for a new beta to read all my fiction. So if any one wants the job I would be most pleased. Sorry for the long wait I'll try and be better but I'm editing my own chapters now so it might take a bit longer.
