Chapter 3
Chapter 3
The car had just pulled up into the driveway which was next to the mansion. They had already arrived at home. Jounouchi by now had stopped crying but still remained flustered and exhausted. Kaiba had already gotten out of the car and went around to open the others car door to help the blond up. The younger teen slowly and sluggishly made his way out of the car and stumbled almost falling. Luckily the CEO caught the other before he hit the ground hard. He picked up Jounouchi and carried him bridal style all the way over to the porch. There, he stood the blond up as he grabbed the key to the mansion and unlocked the front door.
Kaiba decided to break the silence. "They drugged you didn't they...?"
Dull and foggy brown eyes stared up at the brunet for a second before looking down at the ground. "Th-They did..."
'I had a feeling those bastards did...' He thought to himself as he clenched a fist.
Kaiba pushed the door open and helped Jounouchi walk up the stairs. Then carefully led him to a guest room, which was neighboring the CEO's room. The blond was carefully placed onto the bed, he just clutched the side of the bed and rolled over to face the wall. The brunet took his cell out as he grunted a sigh then dialed a number. The younger teens body still shook and small pants can be heard.
Kaiba soon closed his cell after finished talking on it. He turned and glared coldly at the other male. "You really need to relax... The doctor will be here shortly to check you..."
Jounouchi laid there silently and made no effort to respond to the other male. The CEO turned back around and headed out of the room and downstairs to wait for the doctor. A hurt yet angered look played across the blond's face. Drugged or not, he was still pissed at the poor attitude that the brunet displayed.
The blond weakly slammed his fist on the bed out of anger. 'I-I hate that bastard so god damn much...!'
Jounouchi slowly rolled off the bed and made his way to the bedroom door. He slammed it tight and locked it, then he slumped down to the floor and rested up against the wall. He never needed any help from Kaiba, so he wasn't going to stop now.
The blond pulled his knees up close to his chest, wrapping his arms around them, his chin rested upon his knees. If I am such a god damn burden to him then why the hell is he helping me?!'
Downstairs the doctor had already arrived and Kaiba had just finished explaining Jounouchi's situation to the doctor. Both men walked upstairs and reached the younger male's room. But when the CEO tried to open it, it wouldn't budge. This only angered the brunet further.
A fist came slamming at the door which startled the drugged Jounouchi. "Open the god damn door!"
This only frightened the blond more and was making the situation a lot more worse than it was. The doctor looked a bit concerned and worried but said nothing. Kaiba groaned and took a step back, there was no way in hell he was going to break down his own door. It was bad enough that there was a dent in it from him slamming his fist so hard.
The CEO grunted a sigh. "Let's go, Jounouchi! Open this god damn door. The doctor needs to check on you! Stop acting like a god damn child already!"
Jounouchi stumbled to his feet and finally unlocked the door. And as soon as the door opened the blond tried to make a run for it but ended up getting caught by Kaiba. The doctor entered the room quietly and stood by the bed side and waited for the blond teen to calm down. He tried to put up a fight with the CEO but it was all in vain.
"Stop it now, mutt...!"
"L-Let me go..! I don't want or need your help, Kaiba!"
"Stop acting like a child and go lie down on the bed now!" He demanded and he forcefully faced Jounouchi in the other direction of where the bed was. "You need to relax and let the doctor do his job.."
Suddenly he got a flashback from what happened earlier today with those three creeps. His foggy brown eyes lit up in anger and widened and he suddenly forgot where he was. The blond was reminded what he went through when Kaiba tried to get him to lie down on the bed. Jounouchi whirled around and pulled away from the CEO who was suddenly caught off guard and a bit shocked.
He backed away from the doctor and Kaiba. "Get away from me! D-Don't touch me!"
Suddenly the brunet realized that Jounouchi recollecting the event which happened earlier on today. He could tell the blond was quite angered yet also scared. If the CEO tried to approach the other and get him back over to the bed, it would only make matters worse. The younger teen slowly walked back until his back hit the wall. His eyes widened more with fear, it only made him think of when he tried back away from that creep when he was on the bed. His weakened body slumped down to the floor.
Kaiba slowly approached Jounouchi and knelt by his side, staring at him with a concerned look. He extended a hand out to help the blond teen back onto his feet. A harsh slap soon connected with the brunet's cheek and that action just crossed the line. But instead, the CEO would allow it this time because of the state the younger teen was in.
He kept his hand extended and shot Jounouchi a cold glare. "It'll be alright... No one is here to hurt you.. You're safe.."
No response came from the blond teen instead he shook his head and looked to his other side. This frustrated the brunet even more, he was growing tired of this game and rather get this over with. He grunted a sigh another sigh (probably for the third time) and harshly grabbed the other by his chin and stared into his eyes. The younger teen shook with fear but then glared right back at Kaiba.
"Get on your feet now! I promise you that you're safe here..!" The CEO said calmly yet sternly.
Jounouchi finally snapped out of it and leaped up and clung onto the brunet for dear life. He wasn't sure how to respond at first when it happened, he was kinda shocked. He then slowly and carefully wrapped his arms around the blond and they both slowly got back up on their feet. Kaiba took a quick glance at the younger teen and for a second he looked like a scared and lost child with no where to go.
The CEO carefully helped the other back to his bed to lie down and rest. Then he gave the doctor the okay to inspect Jounouchi.

The inspection was now over and the doctor left instructions for the CEO to follow to care for the blond. The note read:
1. Drink lots of water.
2. A cold bath will help.
3. Lots of rest too.
Kaiba sighed from being stressed. The doctor had already left and it was really late now. The brunet took a look at the clock and flopped down on the couch.
He looked up at the clock which stated the time 1:01 A.M. 'This is one of a night I surely won't forget...' He stood up and kicked off his shoes and slipped on his slippers and began heading back upstairs. 'Better see if he is alright...'
He tiredly walked up the stairs and slowly headed to Jounouchi's room. Kaiba cracked open the door a little and peered in. Surely enough, the blond was fast asleep. The CEO wondered if maybe he should sleep in Jounouchi's room tonight instead of his own room (just in case). Or maybe was it better if it was the other way around. After all his bed was queen size and would have lots of sleep space. Much more better than that small bed, also it would make it a lot easier to watch over him.
Kaiba scooped up Jounouchi, carried him bridal style and back to his room. He gently set the other male down on his bed and then got in himself and laid down. The blond teen was changed out of that old, torn, and ragged kimono and into green silk pajamas with clean boxers underneath. (And of course he made sure that the younger got cleaned up first.) The CEO's eyes were heavy and soon he was off to sleep as well.
