The door slammed open causing all the chaos with in to momentarily freeze-because there standing in the doorway-dressed in his trademark sleeveless white trench coat, black leather pants with a form fitting dark blue long sleeved shirt with black boots to finish the look- was one of the youngest, richest, and powerful man in all of Japan. He had dark brown hair that had a hint of a red tone to it.

Shuichi Shindo thought that he would never see blue eyes that could surpass his Yuki's eyes for shear coldness. But this man's eyes were glacial.

"WHERE IS THE MUTT!!!" Shouted the newcomer.

"Now Kaiba-sama," the soft tone of Tohma Seguchi came from behind Kaiba.

'Kaiba? As in Kaiba Corp-' Shu wondered.

"Don't,"Kaiba growled, "the only way you can keep me from destroying your company and burning it to the ground is if you give me the Mutt."

Tohma seeing a rival of his own caliber wisely fell silent.

"Know I want the Mutt and I want him now!"

"Now there's something I never thought I'd hear." Marik said from under Bakura, who was sitting on him. Bakura nodded in agreement.

"What are you two psychos doing here?" Kaiba asked when he noticed them, "Shouldn't you be attached to your better halves?"

"We're part of the band." Marik told him.

"Woo-hoo for you. Now where is he?"

"Oh, he's not here." Bakura said with a smirk.

Shu frowned, " But he's...Oww" Shu as after he had been hit lightly on the side of his head by Hiro. "Why did you do that, Hiro?" he asked rubbing the side of his head.

Hiro sighed.

Mean While under the table...

Joey knew Kaiba was going to kill him once he found him. He saw his life flashing before his eyes- and there were still things he hadn't done yet! More songs to write and sing. Annoying Shindo's lover was always a fun thing to do, and the ultimate prize! To bed Tatsuha Uesugi were the main ones he wanted to do.

Joey decided to make his escape, slowly he crawl toward the door that Kaiba had his back to, he was about two feet away from freedom when...

Kaiba watched by-play between the two musicians but something wasn't right. The tow yamis were snickering and with them that could have meant any thing but...He had a gut feeling that had saved him more than once...

"Freeze Mutt!"

Joey froze inched from the door. "Ah, sweet freedom, how I shall miss you. Good-bye life and love!' thought Joey. He sat up on his knees and scratched the back of his neck.

"Eh...hey... Kaiba"

"Why is it every time I see you, you're on your knees before me?" Kaiba asked with a wicked smirk.

Joey blinked owlishly at him then grinned, " Just trying to be a * good* dog."

Mouths dropped open in shock. Joey hated to be referred to a dog in anyway.

Kaiba was the first to recover. "It's good you know your place. At your master's feet."

Joey stood up and walked over to Kaiba. He leaned into Kaiba's space. A sultry grin crossed Joey's face as he said, "Said I was a good dog. Never said I was * yours *" Joey all but purred at Kaiba. Causing the other to blush lightly at the endowindo.

"Seems you have found a few wits...to bad your still a half wit!" Kaiba snarled.

Joey rolled his eyes, "Why are you here? Did my little song and show bother you that much? Somehow I didn't think it would be even a blip on your radar."

Normally it wouldn't but...'

"I had permission to you both Kaiba Land and Corp. in the video!" Joey interrupted him.

" I * never * gave it!" Kaiba all but yelled.

"Er..No... Your brother did."

"Mobuka would never..." Kaiba trailed off, remembering just how his brother had acted a few months, and how he kept missing memos. Mokuba said he would take care of it. Kaiba cursed in every language he knew and then made some up. Shu looked shocked and had to ask Hiro what some of the words meant. Bakura looked impressed and Marik was just starting to look bored. "I don't need the scandal this will cause" Muttered Kaiba when he was done with his tirade.

"You worry to much I mean if Shindo'd boyfriend can handle scandals and not lose any readers, for you it will be a breeze. If anything your stock will go up. It's a win, win for both of us." Said Joey as he leaned against the table.

"Don't be to sure about that. The public I can deal with, it's my shareholders I answer too." Kaiba told him before storming out.

"Well, shit. I 'd thought about that." Joey muttered.

Kaiba slammed into the waiting limo that was parked outside NG Studios. Where Mokuba had waited for him under protest. His younger brother hadn't thought it fair that Kaiba got to see his favorite band in the world! To say Kaiba was livid was to say Moto's hair had no volume to it.

Mobuka sighed he knew his brother was in no mood to talk to him. He got an evil thought and put in his favorite CD. It began to play...

[Disappear. Out of here! It was time to pay my dues. Never guessed you'd be dressed in my clothes and in my shoes.]

Kaiba frowned. That voice...he knew that voice.

[You couldn't wait to move write in. If I were you I'd be concerned! Ain't no way, your gonna win. Bet you didn't count on my return!]

Kaiba reached over and stopped the CD.

"Hey!" Mokuba shouted.

Kaiba gave hi brother his 'don't mess with me look' and then took the CD out of the player and saw the DarkLight logo on it. "I can't believe you listen to this stuff." He sneered.

"They're a great band! They made it by using Duel Monsters as inspiration. Which is so cool. They played at tourenments and other Duel Monster events. They were the local favorites in Domino music scene!" Mokuba gushed in all his fan boy glory.

"Duel Minster songs!" Kaiba muttered. "How did I ever miss that?"

"Well you were busy with the company." Mokuba said helpfully. "Obsession is a real departure from there normal stuff. I think it's there best yet!"

"Kaiba glared at his brother, "You're still grounded for not telling me about that!"

"Big Brother!" Whined the black haired boy with puppy dog eyes.

Kaiba shuttered at the sight. 'Be strong. Don't give in to the cuteness!' "Still grounded." He managed to snarl out proud that he had resisted the eyes. They rode in silence as they traveled back to the apartment they kept in Tokyo.

'I know everything there is to know about Duel Monster,' thought Kaiba. "I should have known about DarkLight," he growled to himself.

Mokuba sighed but wisely kept quiet. Yes, his brother did know everything about Duel Monsters. But he had a huge blind spot when it came to Katsuya Jounouchi, other wise know as Joey Wheeler.

'And they call my brother a genius?' the black haired boy wondered with a soft snort as he watched the city pass by through the limo window.
