A Year With You

Seto’s eyes fluttered open and he blinked down at his peaceful sleeping puppy. A small smile played across his lips remembering what they did. A small ache in his lower back served to remind him what he had asked of his lover in the aftermath of heated passion. “Jou, wake up.” He shook his lover gently and hissed as the small ache became something more pronounced. “JOU.” Beautiful golden eyes blinked at him and a small sleepy smile graced Jou’s face. His lover moved up kissing him but also moving his hips. He hissed biting back a small curse. He had had worse and this time this ache was of his own choosing. “Jou, pup, I need you to pull out now.” Jou’s eyes got large and Jou grabbed his hips and slowly pulled out. Seto almost sighed in relief. “Sorry, dragon. Are you ok?” He nodded slowly and glanced to the bathroom door. It was a very long walk. “Puppy, go get the bath started, if you please. I’ll join you in a bit.” Jou nodded and sprang out of bed jogging to the bathroom.

Jou started the tub getting the water as hot as he felt was safe. He felt stupid. He should have just waited till Seto fell asleep then pulled out, sadly, he fell asleep first. He was sure Seto was sore and dreading the thought of movement. He remembered once he and Hirotani stayed up all night just fucking like rabbits. He was so sore the next day. He shook off the thought wondering why his old gang leader and fuck buddy was suddenly filling his thoughts. He looked at the tub and threw in some salts that would help, luckily, Seto had a well stocked bathroom. He headed to the bedroom and saw his lover slowly sitting up wincing at every movement. He moved silently scooping Seto up, much like he himself had been scooped up earlier in the day. Gorgeous blue eyes glared death at him and he smiled, kissing Seto deeply. “Silly dragon, glaring doesn’t work on me anymore.” The glare got darker and more intense and he paused slightly. Seto gave a satisfied smirk and kissed his cheek. “Still works.” He nodded slowly getting into the tub with his lover. “Damn, Seto, that glare could freeze hell.” His lover gave him a pleased smirk. “That wasn’t even my really good glare. I’ve perfected one that I’m saving for some one who really pisses me off.” Jou blinked and giggle burying his face in warm skin, taking in the scent of Seto and what lingered of their love making. “I love you.” He was pulled into a tender kiss. “I love you, too. I would like you a lot more if you gave my lower back a massage.” He nodded setting Seto in the tub then digging his fingers into Seto’s lower back trying to ease the ache he knew his lover was feeling. “We sure are a pair, aren’t we?” He asked softly.

Seto looked back at Jou, wondering what his puppy was getting at. Jou looked pained yet nostalgic. Seto took a deep breath and sighed softly. “Jou, were you a virgin before we hooked up?” Jou’s head shook silently and he nodded slowly. “No. Honda was my first. I mean we were young and hormone driven and we were just fooling around and one thing lead to another and wham bam we had sex.” Seto nodding knowing there were others but not wanting to push Jou. Warm arms draped over his shoulders as a head pressed against his back.

“Do you remember how I told you I was in a gang?” Jou asked in a whisper.

“Yes.”

“Well, Hirotani, the leader of the gang, he was…we were…well he liked me and I was still young and dumb and horny as hell so we fucked. A lot. I mean I kind of had a thing for him and I think he had feelings for me because before I joined he would fuck any of the other members. After that, it was just me with one of the others every once in a great while. I was his favorite. It made breaking ties that much harder. He was pissed. You and Yugi really saved my life.”

“What did I do?”

“If it wasn’t for you lending me money when I needed it I would have gone back. Better to be Hirotani’s bitch than someone’s whore. I got you instead. I got to be with some one I love. Thank you.”

Seto turned slightly and kissed his puppy gently. He traced smooth lines of Jou’s face and chuckled softly. “If I saw you on the street as a whore, I would have bought you. It would have pissed you off and I loved the fire in your eyes when you were angry, still do. Jou, I’ve been fascinated and attracted to you for a long time. I could never say no to you. Sometimes it hurts to think that you really saw me as a bad guy.” He sighed softly, still stroking Jou’s face.

Jou stole a quick kiss, looking into deep blue eyes. He had seen Seto as a bad guy once. It was long ago before Dual Kingdom and Battle City. Before he had really known Seto as more than anything than the jerk that tore up Yugi’s ‘Blue Eyes White Dragon’. “That was before I saw what you were willing to go through for your brother and for us. You’ve always helped us but why do you hate my friends so much? I mean, we all wanted to be your friend to some extent. Then why let me in and not the others?”

Seto sighed deeply working out years of complex feelings in a few seconds. He just needed to voice things. “Yugi always offered to be my friend but made no move to show I was wanted. Really wanted in your group. The offers were made and I’d refuse and the next weekend you guys would have a sleep over or a party. I figured if Yugi really wanted to be my friend, he would ask me to join. He never did. It hurt. They were always pushing me to the edge but there was never any true offer to help me get across. You on the other hand made it very clear you wanted nothing to do with me. I enjoyed your honesty. You didn’t offer fake help. You always came right out and said what you were thinking. It took so much courage for you to come to me and ask me for money even though you didn’t like me much. Don’t lie now and say you did because you didn’t until I said yes. I could see it in your eyes. When I said yes was when you really stopped seeing me as a bad guy.”

Jou thought it over and nodded slowly knowing Seto was right to some extent. He then thought over what Seto said about Yugi and sighed deeply. “You’ll never like them, will you? Because even if they do invite you places now you’ll know that they are doing it for me. Seto, Yugi really does want to be your friend. I just think he’s not entirely sure how to show it. I mean most of us kind of latched on to him. With you he’s tried but you’re not the easiest person into world to understand. I know you are hurt but maybe if you talk to him you can reach some sort of…something. Please for me.”

Seto looked into gold eyes for a long time then nodded slowly. He couldn’t say no to Jou. “I’ll try. However my offer does not extend to Yami, the pompass, no good, jackass, jerk face, holier-than-thou, I was once a Pharaoh, son of a monkey, stupid, haughty, bastard.” Jou had one brow raised, but said nothing. Seto flushed and sank into the hot water. Jou pulled him up and kissed him deeply. “I can live with that. Can you also give Honda and Anzu a chance?” Seto huffed, crossing his arms. “Don’t push it, Jou. I’ll give Yugi and the other two lesser of two evil twins a chance. The others can wait.”

Jou smiled and kissed Seto deeply, shoving his tongue past slightly parted lips. He pulled away smiling brightly. “Tomorrow I’m going to have Kentaro teach me to make your favorite dessert then I’m going to spoil you. And maybe cover you in honey.” He kissed Seto again thrilled that his boyfriend would at least try with his best friend.

Seto smiled and pulled his puppy in for a kiss. He nuzzled an ear and giggled, softly thinking of being covered in honey. “I’m all up for you making my favorite dessert but I’m not sure how I feel about being covered in honey, Jou. I think it would be….sticky.” His lover chuckled, softly nuzzling him in turn. “That’s the point, dragon. It’s supposed to be sticky and sweet. I know I’ll have fun.”

“You sure are kinky, puppy.”

“I know. Then after honey, we can move on to chocolate sauce.”

“I’ll think about it. Ok?”

Jou looked at Seto and smiled at his beautiful lover. He cupped a handsome face and tenderly kissed soft lips just feeling Seto. He whispered softly, not pulling away from the kiss. “I love you, Seto Kaiba.” He felt Seto smile just like his lover did every time he heard those three little words. “I love you, too, Jounouchi Katsuya.” Jou felt the sudden need to giggle at the pure fluffiness of it all. Seto looked at him for a long moment then shoved his head under water. He came up still giggling and he splashed his lover.

Er um well yeah.....if it isn't one thing it is always another. Sorry I got eaten by work this time. I work at a pet store and all the cute little fluffy animals ate me.....then I lost some chapters...like 31 no one knows where it went chapter 31 is gone.

Callidius: I'm glad you liked the last chapter it was one of the ones i just randomly started writing then i read it over and was like wow that was kind of cool i think I'll keep it this way. I'm happy I'm back even if i keep kind of vanishing. hum maybe one day I'll stay in place and update on time.

yaoirose: Well I'm glad I made you smile. As for what happens next....well I'm not sure I even know any more. However I do know there is a second part to this story because I have 15 chapters of the second part written and a third part is floating in my head however it appears as if the second part will be twice as long as the first. Meaning if there is a third part to this story it will be an epic. Damn I need a life....or a new hobby....

jingko: Oh my gosh thanks for the review! I'm glad you liked the last chapter I kind of wished it was longer too but my nasty beta who I oddly couldn't live with out gave me a page limit. I think she had to do that because at one point I gave her a chapter that was 28 pages and she read it and edited it for me then I decided I hated it and gave her a new one....she wanted to kill me...so that is why they are all kind of short that and it is easier because i tend not to ramble as much.

any way thanks to every one who is still reading this. as for the response to the reviews if they seem really odd for me well I had a long day at work then my friend took me out drinking. I'm such a lightweight. Me and booze don't mix at all. I get really chatty and loud after one drink. So I am blaming all of this on lack of sleep and booze. Thanks a bunch I love you all
