A Year With You

Jou sighed heavily walking in to work. He was frustrated as all hell and he was super busy. “What’s wrong, Jou?” He flopped down on the stool looking at his boss. They were still dead so he wasn’t really worried about other people. “It’s just Seto and I haven’t had much of a chance to be with one another lately. It’s been like a month since I’ve started and I’ve hardly seen my boyfriend. He’s been super busy with work and I’ve been here most of the time training or working. There we are approaching midterms in class so I’ve been busting my ass off studying. This is the first weekend I don’t have any homework and Seto has a day off but I’m here. No offence, Kentaro, but I’d much rather be with Seto. I miss my koi.” He whined softly and his boss turned smiling. “Then go, Jou. I can do without you for one night, even if you are my best waiter. I over staffed tonight anyway. Go home and be with your koibito.” He grinned nodding and jogging off before Kentaro realized that it was Saturday, one of their busiest nights, and he was sending one of his head waiters home.

Seto sighed deeply flopping on the couch. Jou was working and Mokuba was spending the night at Yugi’s along with the rest of the gang. That just left him alone with nothing to do. He was ahead on his work for once. He didn’t have any homework so he was at a loss. The sound of a key being hastily shoved into the door caused him to turn slightly and his puppy came bouncing in. “Forget something?” He asked softly and Jou grinned skipping over and pounced him. “Nope. Kentaro over staffed so he needed to send people home.” Seto snorted looking his puppy over. “I’m surprised. I mean Kentaro loves you. Aren’t you one of the head waiters?” His puppy nodded nuzzling their noses and giving him a soft kiss. “I was complaining how we hardly got to spend time together so he sent me home. I think he forgot it was Saturday. I left before he realized it.” He chuckled softly pulling his puppy down for a tender kiss. Their lips lingered neither wanting to pull away but not wanting to take it any further.

Jou made the first move slowly pulling away. He snuggled into his lover sighing in contentment. “So what do you want to do today?” Seto grunted softly and Jou rolled his eyes. He loved Seto but some days his lover had some issues being decisive or eloquent. “Well we can just go for a walk if you want. Or we can stay here and watch movies. We can head out to the pool and swim or soak in the hot tub. We can head up to your room and soak in your tub then fool around. Then again we can just head up to your room and fool around.” He saw the corners of Seto’s mouth quirk into a smile. “Let’s go for a walk. I think I just need to get out for a little while.” He pouted but nodded slowly kissing along Seto’s jaw. “What ever you want, my love. Then, can we come home and fool around?” Seto laughed kissing the top of his head. “Jou, I love you.” Jou grinned, knowing he would never get sick of hearing those words.

Seto walked slowly just taking in the day and the warm feeling of Jou’s hand grasping his own. He liked quiet moments like this where Jou wasn’t trying to molest him. He loved Jou but sometimes he felt the blond was pushing him a little too hard. He liked the calm of taking walks and simple kisses. He liked the heavy stuff, too, but he found more joy in just holding hands. He had very little simple affection in his life and he needed it on a very basic level. “Seto! SETO!” He blinked turning to his puppy who grinned. “I called you like ten times. You must be a million miles away.” He nodded, not sure how to tell his puppy what he needed. “What? Seto don’t give me that look you know you can tell me anything. Please?” Seto gave Jou a soft smile because his puppy knew him so well. “Jou, I think we need to take a few steps back in our relationship. I love you and I love the things we’ve done. I just need things a little bit more simple. I love just holding your hand or cuddling on the couch. I like the other things but they are a bit overwhelming. I’m just overwhelmed by how much I love you and how fast my life is changing. I mean my little brother is moving to Europe to be with his two lovers. Kaiba Corp can almost run its self. My stoic mask has crumbled to pieces and I told two people I don’t even trust that my step father used to rape me. Jou, I haven’t told any one some of the things that man did to me and I gave them the resources to see it first hand if they find those tapes. Those tapes could destroy me for life and…” Jou placed a gentle finger over his lips.

Jou saw Seto’s eyes fill with tears so he placed a gentle hand on his lover’s lips to stall the rampage. “Seto, I will give you what ever you need. I’ve said that from the beginning. If we need to take a few steps back and take our sweet time that is fine. I love you. So we’ll just go back to holding hands and kissing. I’m fine with that. As long as I have you, I’m fine with anything you need. Can we still take the occasional bath together though? I enjoyed that because I enjoy just being with you.” His lover relaxed and nodded, kissing him softly. Jou knew it would be hard to step back but he would do it. He did love Seto and he could tell his lover found a whole new level of stress. He wrapped Seto’s arm around his shoulder so he could snuggle close to his lover’s side. “So, you’re kind of upset about Mokie leaving, aren’t you?” Seto sighed heavily nodding.

Seto didn’t like to think about his little brother leaving him but growing up and leaving were part of life. “He’s all I’ve had for a long time. When he was first born I hated him. I was so jealous that our parents were doting on him. Then they died and we had nothing and Mokuba became my world. I know it sounds kind of sick, but he was all I had. Sometimes I think I need him more than he ever needed me. I used to wonder what we would be like if we got taken separately. There were offers for the both of us but I wouldn’t let him leave me so I made the bet with Gozoburo. I killed my soul so I could have him. Now he’s leaving me.” He didn’t notice he was crying until Jou gently wiped away his tears. “It was a hard choice for a kid to make, but you did good, Seto. Mokie loves you and he’s a good kid. Seto, I wish I were half as brave and as strong to go through all that you did and still take the time to care for my sibling. I just wish you could see how amazing you really are.” Seto grabbed Jou in a fierce hug just keeping the blond close. Soft rain drops started to fall but they ignored them. There was nothing more in the world than him and Jou. They both held one another tightly even as the sky opened up and cried for them.

Jou shivered as they got home. He was soaked to the bone but he didn’t much care. He looked at his and Seto’s twined fingers and smiled softly at his lover. Seto pulled him close once more kissing him softly. He didn’t know when it happened but he and Seto some how ended up in Seto’s room. His slick fingers gently touched his lover’s entrance and Seto gave a small nod. He took his time slowly stretching his most precious dragon. He hit something deep inside and Seto’s long slender body arched into him. Their lips met in a slow sensual dance older than time. He gazed into two perfect pools of calm sapphire slowly setting himself into the man he loved. He moved slowly taking care with his most precious love. Their kisses were slow, sweet and tender as was everything else they did that night. Their touches were like the softest breeze caressing the leaves of the trees. There was no fear and no pain because all that existed was them. Jou was lost in the strong arms, soft lips, and hot body that held him. Seto was lost in the sweet light of love that could only be Jou. They made love that night to the timeless rhythm of the rain.

Dawn broke clear and fresh on the horizon. The first rays of the new sun bathed two bodies in the warm glow of light. Seto’s eyes fluttered open and he met the new day with a hope that had been long shrouded in darkness. His puppy’s golden locks glistened in the new light and he buried his face in his own personal heaven. If Gozoburo was his hell, Jou was most certainly was his heaven. He found warmth and strength that he didn’t know he had. He caressed a perfect sleeping face, kissing parted lily lips. Golden eyes fluttered open and greeted him with all the hope a new dawn brings after a night of cold and rain. He closed his eyes just kissing his puppy with all the love he held in his heart.

Jou sighed into the kiss melting into his lover’s arms. He didn’t know why things happened as they did last night but he didn’t much care. He was happy. He held Seto’s hands to his face just wanting his lover close they could kiss. Seto pulled away and he looked into the endless pools of blue he so loved. “Do you regret it?” He asked gently almost afraid to break the moment, but he knew he had to. “No. You gave everything I never had at the hands of others. I’m just glad it was in your hands I finally found what I had been missing.” He cocked his head and Seto smiled placing a soft kiss on his lips. “Love. I never had love. Jou, will you allow me to make love to you as you finally made love to me?” He nodded eagerly leaning in for another kiss. He didn’t need what Seto had given him but he would be forever grateful to share his life with the man he loved.

One long slick finger probed Jou’s entrance and he spread his legs a little allowing his lover in. Seto was careful and gentle but Jou wanted more. He mewed in pleasure as his lover took his sweet time. Something deep inside of him was hit and he cried out his love’s name over and over as he thrust his hips begging for more. A second finger was added and the same spot was hit again. He shuddered in pleasure gripping on to strong shoulders. Jou was so lost in the haze of pleasure he hardly noticed the third finger being added. Seto stretched him so carefully he was going out of his mind with pleasure.

Slowly, Seto pulled out and Jou whimpered at the loss until something larger was poised to enter him. “Are you ready, puppy?” He nodded, grabbing Seto’s hips helping his lover get settled inside of him. Seto was hot and he could feel the heartbeat of his lover deep inside. Tears filled his eyes and he buried his face in Seto’s shoulder. “I can feel you. I can feel your heartbeat. It matches mine. Seto, please you have to move.” Seto placed a small kiss on his neck then lips and started a slow steady rhythm hitting the spot inside of him every time. Jou was brought to tears by the tenderness and care his love showed but he desperately wanted more. “Seto, faster.” He sighed. Seto nodded slowly picking up the pace. He gasped meeting Seto’s thrusts as he trembled in pleasure. A tight coiling in his stomach made him sigh in pure ecstasy as he came hard. “Seto, I love you.” His lover kissed him as he felt Seto reach his peak as well.

Jou lay completely sated, running his fingers though mahogany locks. Seto’s breathing was ghosting evenly against his chest. He smiled his eyes closing with the need for sleep. He kissed a smooth pale shoulder closing his eyes and drifting into a soft slumber. He would have sweet dreams of his beautiful dragon.
