No More Us: Author's Chapter
Welcome to the Author's Chapter. I would like to thank those who read
the story. I would really like to thank those who reviewed. I really
hope that each and every one of you truly enjoyed my story.
Keep in mind that this is the 2nd version of this story, the original is
floating around somewhere...I really hope that I can find that one also.
As for Yugi and Yami, I just wanted to write something where they don't
get the 'cinderella' ending. I hope that everyone felt each and every
emotion I tried to portray through my words. The anger and shock of Yugi
walking in on Yami and Kaiba to the sadness after Yami finds Yugi
laying on the pavement, half dead to the passion of Yugi and Yami's moment
of intimacy. I really hope everyone felt those emotions and then some.
Originally this whe phe parallel version of 'Past, Present, Future', the
sequel to 'Past Self, Future Me.' As things are looking right now, I may
or may not rewrite that one. I know that some of you want to know how
Seto and Jou turns out for 'Past, Present, Future' is taken from their
point of view and of course 'No More Us' was taken from Yugi and Yami's
point of view.
In the original story, Yugi's father doesn't make an appearance, and I
don't even touch the situation of Yugi's parents. But I added it to add
to the element of the story, of how Yugi's mom trusts him, even though
they only see each other for a short time every year.
As for favorites in the story...hmmm...lemme think. I love the part
when Yami's given some sedatives and they're making him woozy. Well,
I actually love that entire scene when the nurse is asking Yami for
his personal information.
Well, once again thanks for all of your support of this story. Doesn't
matter if you read it or read and reviewed. I appreciate it.
I'm currently working on two fics, "The Awakening" and "Ghost
Stories". The first is a Seto/Jou fic, and the second is the sequel
to 'Surprise at Sea' and 'The Nightmare'. You can call them a trilogy
if you choose.
Well, look for me in the future with another fic on hand!
