After Obsession

Joey Wheeler A.K.A. Katsuya Jounouchi A.K.A. the'Mutt' (By some people) sat in the conference room at NG Records, watching the chaos around him in bemusement. Bakura was chasing the pink haired lead singer of Japan's number one band, since Little Napser second retirement came about, around the table. Threatening death and pain. Suguru, the green haired keyboardist tried to bring some order to the mess. If asked Joey could have told him that it was a losing battle especially since Marik kept flirting with the boy and making him blush. Malik was not going to be happy about that when he found out... And he would find out.

Ah, the joys of blackmail.

It was the only way to deal with the yamis when way from their hikaris for any length of time.

Bad Luck and DarkLight were working on a joint album, so they could tour together in light of the popularity of Joey's single, Obsession. It was selling faster than the stores could stock it. The members of Bad Luck were interesting to say the least- they didn't freak out over some of the things Marik and Bakura pulled- that was always a plus.

Shu-chan, had gotten a hold of a love song Bakura had written for Ryou, provided by Marik of course. So now the white haired yami was chasing the kid, and waving around the dagger he always carried-which didn't seem to bother the kid at all. And considering their manager K, Joey could see. Why the kid was not fazed by the deadly weapon after all there was a big difference between guns and knives.

"Kura-kun's in love! Kura-kun's in love." The pink menace chanted. Really the kid had no idea how close to death he was, there were just something you didn't tease Bakura about. How he felt about Ryou was one of the major ones. Marik decided to get in on the game and snatched the paper away from Shu-chan. He began to read it out loud.

"I'd shed tears for you, I'd hide all your fears for you..." Marik read then paused, "Kura I think someone as wrote this already."

"Get me that you sandy haired freak!"

"Now, now, what would your gentle hearted Ryou say if he heard you talking to one of your best friends that way?" Marik asked.

"One best friend? I haven't said any thing to Joey." Bakura said with a smirk.

Marik frowned.

Shu it seemed decided to use Marik and Bakura fighting as a chance to sneak away. He sat down between Joey and Hiro who had been showing Joey some of his guitar skills. There came a shriek of pain- from Marik who should have known better...but didn't care. Joey sighed as the table was bumped into by the yelling yamis as they were now at the punching and hair pulling stage. Soon it would be sharp weapons and then shadow magic if they weren't stopped. Joey was debating on how badly Malik and Ryou would hurt him if he let their yamis send each other to the Shadow Realm?

The paper with the song had been lost in the fighting. To bad it sounded like it had been one of Bakura's better attempts at a love song, blood and death hadn't been mention in what Joey heard.

"Jou-Jou?"

Joey turned a glare on the pink haired one that spoke. "Don't call me that. I'm not a Pomeranian!"

"Are they always like this?" Asked the singer as the yamis pulled out daggers- and started to circle each other.

"...Yyyyeeeeaahhh," Joey drawled out lazily, "but don't worry. They won't kill each other."

THUNK!!!

Marik's dagger embedded itself in the table in front of the golden haired blond, he glared at tit and said, "They are afraid of their boyfriends and I make sure said boyfriends know all!"

Joey yanked the pink haired one into his arms and Bakura's dagger flew by and hit the wall behind them. Shu's eyes widen as he looked at the dagger and he gulped. He then blush when he realized he was practically sitting in Joey's lap. Shindou had thought he and his band were weird- but they had nothing on DarkLight. Bakura pick up a letter opener that was on the table and was about to throw it at Marik.

"Hey that's mine!" Suguru snapped sharply, glaring at the white haired yami. It startled Bakura and he dropped it on the floor. Marik seeing his chance went for Bakura's throat with his hands -as they both lost their weapons kicking the letter opener under the table.

At Suguru slight pout Joey rolled his eyes and ducked under the table to get it.
