(blushes)
Weeeeeeeee, thanks everybody for the kind reviews! I’m so glad, you folks liked
it, I’ll try to keep up the plot!^^
To make
things easier, from now on, all cursive texts will be
mind-talk/thoughts, so you know, when the scene switches from inside Katsuya’s
head to his surroundings. I will even combine these, as to indicate, that it’s
both menta> an> and actual speech, so look out.
And now,
enough with the explinations, and on with the story!

2.
Shizuka
stared at the scene unfolding before her in mute shock.
Her eyes
confirmed, what her mind tried to deny:
Her
brother, her idol, and the person she respected the most, had just murdered
another human being.
Everything
was hazy, the colors, normally bright and alluring, were strangely dimmed.
Katsuya
staggered through what seemed to be the ends of the world, when a familiar
snicker made him swerve around, staring at a shadow amidst the swirls.
“lang=EN-US style='mso-ansi-language:EN-US'>Ka-kanashimilang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>! I thought, you were gone! I thought,
I was rid of you!”
Again,
the same, unnerving chuckle, and the shadow became denser, longer, darker,
until the aforementioned stood there in the flesh-as it were.
“My dear, poor Jounouchi, did you really
think, it was that easy, to get rid of me? You really are sillier, than you
look, but then, thinking has never been your strong suit, ne?”
He took
a step closer and hushed:
“You
should have learned by now, that you will never get rid of me. Never.”
Katsuya
glared at his most hated enemy, despising everything he saw there.
Superficially,
someone could have mistaken them for twins, but at the same time, they were so
different, it was almost painful.
Where
Katsuya’s hairs were golden bundles of captured sunrays, Kanashimi’s reflected
the darkness of the void between the stars. But the most striking difference
were their eyes:
Amber,
sparkling with anger and passion, held purple, wich reflected nothing but dark
hunger and cruelty, as Kanashimi smirked down a Jou, towering over him, his
broad shoulders only accenting the height advantage he had over the blond.
Scars,
poorly stiched together and plainly visible, contrasted with his pale,
blueish-tinted skin, as they covered his brawny, taut arms in a wild,
zig-zagged manner.
Katsuya
stood straight, and Kanashimi instinctly mimicked his pose. Shoulders back,
chest out, arms flexed just a bit, hands slightly balled into fists-it was like
looking in a strange, perverted mirror.
“Why did
you have to kill him?”
asked Seto,
spitting out yet another mouthfull of bile. He had never felt this awful in his
entire life.
For a
second, he doubted, he would get an answer, but then Katsuya knelt down next to
the dead Hiroshi, and, using his blood-covered knife, flipped back the dead one’s
coat.
A sawed-off
Ruger Mini glistened in the early aftenoon light.
“Because it
was the only way to save you all. Growing up, where I did, you always
recognize a guy with heat. And judging from the amount of ammo he packed, I’d
say, he wasn’t planning on leaving anyone of us alive. He would have
massacred every last one of us, including your driver and bodyguards.”
“Oh, and
just stabbing him in the arm wasn’t enough, wasn’t it?It would have forced him
to release the gun, and given Seto the needed distraction, to take him out! But
of course, the great Kanashimi doesn’t work that way! Nolang=EN-GB style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>, you had to slit his bloody
throat! What kind of sick fuck are you anway?!?” screamed Katsuya, trying to
grab hold of his nemesis, who swiftly danced out of his reach, laughing and
mocking all the way.
And
then, suddenly, he was within Jou’s personal space, grabbed his left arm and
twisted it painfully, rasping:
“I
already told you long ago, Katsuya, I am style='mso-ansi-language:EN-GB'>you. And there is no way, you can esapce
me.”
Kaiba
watched Jou with growing confusion; it seemed, as if the blond was having some
sort of..conversation with himself, because his lips moved, but no words
escaped his mouth.
Hatred,
fear, anger, compassion, amusement, contempt, satisfaction, bitterness, lust,
despise, loathing, the emotions flickered over the blond’s face faster than Seto
could recognize them.
It was like
watching a storm developing, sun, clouds, wind and blue sky warring with each
other who would reign.
And then
Katsuya screamed in agony, before collapsing next to his victim, unconcious.
