Chapter 14

The end of a nightmare

Yugi stared at the children in her arms. Her children. Yami and his baby. "Oh I wish Yami was here to see you." Yugi whispered.



"Don't think he'll be here anytime soon." A dark voice announced. Yugi eyes shot up. Tako grinned. Yugi slid back the best she could.



Tako stared at the twins in her arms. "Twins. But how?" Tako stood shocked. When he saw the eyes of Lyra he knew. "It's that freak child." Tako growled grabbing the small baby girl from Yugi.



"NO!!" Yugi screamed



The baby let out a scream. Yugi looked around for Marik and Bakura finding them fighting Gear. "Give me back my baby" Yugi cried. Tako laughed. "Your body is mine only. Only my children will grow in you. Any other will die," Tako cackled, as he held Lyra away from him going to break the baby's neck when a color of blue and purple/black flashed and Lyra disappeared from his arms. Tako looked around.



A newly reborn D stood near by. Holding the small baby in his arms. "Tako stay away from them" Yami yelled from behind Tako. Tako growled as he turned. Ryou and Malik quickly helped Yugi back up next to D. The Millennium Puzzle glowed brightly as Yami seem to change. His wounds headed. His clothes changed. When the brightness disappeared. Yami stood in his Egyptian pharaoh clothes, the fabled symbol of the Millennium Items glowing fiercely on his forehead.



Tako watched his eyes narrowing. Yami stood still as a sword appeared in his hand. "This is the end Tako. You will not torment anyone else." Yami hissed.



"In your dreams Yami. This is only the beginning" Tako growled as a sword appeared in his hand.



Yami lunged forward thrusting the sword up aiming to hit Tako right on. Tako brought up his sword blocking the attack with a clash of metal against metal.



Gear turned seeing the fight, "and this is my time to disappear. Sorry brother. But I always did want to be a only child" Gear laughed as he disappeared. Bakura and Marik crashing into an each other when Gear disappeared. Tako saw this.



"Gear!!!" Tako yelled as he blocked Yami's attack again. "Damn it" Tako growled as he moved quickly slashing a gash in Yami shoulder.



"Yami" Yugi cried. "Please I don't want to lose you," she whimpered, looking away at her children. "Don't worry little one. Daddy will be fine. I hope," Yugi whispered.



Thingemedemed to run in slow motion as the swords came together. Yami watched Tako movements looking for an opening. 'He's hurt Yugi for the last time' Yami thought as the sword slid though Tako chest. Tako eyes went wide. "No. This .was.n't. .suppose .to .hap.pen" Tako gasped as Yami removed the sword. Tako fell face forward to the ground as his life force faded away so did his world. Yami looked to Kico who was disappearing to.



"Kico." Yami said quickly. Kico smiled. "I'm free from him now." Kico whispered. "Don't worry big brother will meet again some day"



Yami reached out. Only to have his hand go though Kico. "You have a family to watch out now. I'm not in the way to get in trouble." Kico's voice faded. Yami hand fell to his side as Kico, Tako, and the world disappeared all together.



Yami looked down as the others walked over. His old clothes returning and also the wounds. "I lost him again," he said.



"Yami. He maybe gone, but he helped save two new lives" Yugi comforted. Yami turn and looked at the twins. Yuhiya may not be his. But he was going to be the baby's father. Yami gently took hold of his daughter.



"Hi baby girl. Welcome to our world" Yami whispered



****4 weeks later**



Yami pushed the babies around the park. Yugi smiled as she held on to Yami. It would still be a couple month before she was a he again. "This is the life." Yami announced. "I have you and my daughter, and my son"



"One happy family, until the end." Yugi agreed



End



4 years later the twins are starting school. But someone is watching the two, and one person out to help them, and one out to take away Yami and Yugi's happiness and that's not all the twins themselves are starting to show their new powers. Be on the look out for the sequel to lost in a unknown world
