A Year With You

Mokuba sat trying to think of a way to hook his brother and Jou up without them knowing they were being hooked up. Shizuka and Nagi were trying to help him but their plotting had gotten them no where quickly. He sighed trying to find the best way to outsmart his brother. Then an idea struck him. What if he didn’t have to out smart his brother? What if they all just had to outsmart Jou? “I’ve got it!” He started to giggle a little evilly and Nagi gave him a puzzled look. “What is it Mokie?” Shizuka asked softly and he smiled. “We ask Seto for help. Just listen. The only problem that we are really having is the fact that we have to out smart my brother right? We all know Seto likes Jou right? So we’ll just ask Seto.” Shizuka giggled and nodded bouncing happily. “It’s a great idea!” He smiled rather pleased with himself.

Seto gave his brother a puzzled look and sighed softly. He knew Mokuba had the best intentions but he wasn’t sure how to feel. “Mokie, I know you are trying to help but I want Jou to come to me on his own terms. I won’t help you plot things but I won’t stop you either. That is the best I can do.” His brother nodded seriously and smiled, hugging him tightly. “That’s all I need. Now I don’t have to try and out smart you. I just have to out smart Jou and tell you what I’m doing. I’m not trying to shove you and Jou into anything; I’m just trying to give what’s there a little push.” He gave his brother a flat look, wondering how the two were different. “Trust me, Seto. Shizuka agrees with me and who can you trust more than your younger siblings?” His brother gave him the angelic look that was normally his first clue that Mokuba was going to be in very big trouble, very soon. However, his little brother had a valid point. Who could they trust more than their siblings? He sighed going back to work. “Just don’t break anything.” His brother giggled and hugged him tightly. “Seto, I really do love you.” He smiled hold his brother close and kissing soft locks of hair. “I love you, too. Now since you are done and we’ve established I’m not going to help hinder you, can I get back to work?” His brother nodded and skipped from his office.

Jou stood staring at the food in the fridge trying to figure out what he was craving. He needed something desperately but he couldn’t put his finger on what. He knew he had tasted it once before he just couldn’t remember what it was or where he tasted it. He knew it was something sweet but with a deep mellow rich flavor that left you craving more. It also had a slightly spicy taste like cinnamon but the deep rich scent of temples. He sighed, closing the door and flopping on the stool by the counter island. He wasn’t really hungry but he was starving for this thing. Now if only he could remember what it was. Maybe he should ask Seto. He stood nodding deciding Seto was the best person to ask. He sighed heavily, flopping back down into his chair. Maybe he should just go to bed.

Jou was dead tired. He tried sleeping but the taste of his mysterious missing thing was driving him nuts, so he had a hard time falling to sleep. Then he dreamt of Seto again. The dream was sexy and erotic. It was every fantasy he ever had rolled into one. He would not let that fantasy become a reality. He had lived with the Kaiba brothers for almost two months, three weeks of those months, had recently been spent in school, but that was not the point. Seto had done so much for him and he considered the other teen a dear friend. There were sometimes that the icy prick side of Kaiba would rear its ugly head but for the most part the other was kind. There were some days that Seto would get lost in his work and seem distant but he would always find himself intently watching the brunet. He shook his head in disgust and closed the refrigerator door. “Something wrong, puppy?” He spun as the object of his hormone driven musings walked up behind him. “I’m craving something and I don’t know what it is.” The brunet nodded and smiled reaching into one of the high cupboards. “Don’t tell, Mokuba.” He smiled at the special little secret he now had with Kaiba and nodded. Seto pulled out a container full of something he wasn’t sure what. He sat down looking at the odd pastry that was revealed to him. “Baklava. It’s a Greek Dish. It’s a flakey pastry, honey and nuts. It’s my favorite sweet ever; sadly Mokuba also likes it and eats most of it before I can so I have to hide it from him. Try some.” He smiled and took one of the small squares and nibbling on one corner. The treat was sweet but not overwhelming. It was smooth but had the rich nutty flavor that just brought the whole thing together. It was wonderful. It wasn’t what he was craving but it would do for now. He ate the small piece slowly savoring every bite. He glanced at Seto who had his eyes closed in pure rapture. Soft full lips glistened with honey and his craving hit him full force. He remembered where he had tasted what he was craving with every fiber of his being. He was craving Seto from that stupid clumsy kiss he had given the other when his sister had first arrived.

Seto blinked when Jou suddenly shot up. The blond gave him a small smile and laughed thinly. “I should get to bed because we have school tomorrow and all.” He nodded and finished off his treat then once again hiding what remained from his brother. He leaned forward to kiss the blond on the cheek but Jou turned just slightly and he kissed the blond on the lips. He blushed softly and mumbled a low apology and headed to his room.

Jou licked his lips tasting the wonderful flavor of Seto mixed with the sweet flavor of honey. He sighed softly and headed to his room. He gave into the inevitable dreams of a honey covered Seto. Oddly he was rather looking forward to sleeping.

Mazu: Man if that actually happened I would so want to be one of those ferris wheel workers. Granted leering is bad and I would most likely get fired but it would be so worth it! Glad you are enjoying the story and that scene might not go in this story it might go in another one then again who knows it’s just filed for future reference.

I was so happy to see you again and to hear that you didn’t leave. I’m not insecure. I’m so glad you liked chapter 8it is my favorite chapter so far. As for 9 (reads chapter) did I miss something? Where are things getting hotter? Here I thought I saved all the hotness for this and later chapters. Except Jou’s little hentai dream….
