CHAPTER 10

Yugi blinked his eyes open and rubbed them cutely, all the time aware of the arm wrapped around his stomach. Then there was movement behind and a deep breath releasing, a chin rubbed against his cheek

“Good morning Aibou”
He blushed a little and went to turn over but almost fell luckily Yami’s arm was there to pull him back onto the small bed

“Ok when did we come back here?”

“Um about an hour after you feel asleep. I cleaned us up then teleported us back here. We really must get a bigger bed because I know you don’t want to leave here yet”
Again he blushed and said

“Well yes but I don’t want him to hear us”
A low chuckle

“Yes that would ruin it huh?”
Yugi playfully hit him on the head

“Smart alic”
He gave a small stretch and asked

“What time is it?”

“Almost time for us to get up anyway”
Yugi went to get off the bed but once he tried to stand up he felt a dull pain in his back side. Yami was there instantly, holding him in a back to front hug

“Still a little sore huh? First times are usually the worst. Want me to heal it?”

“Yes”
He gave Yugi a kiss on the cheek and carefully put his hand past Yugi’s pyjama pants, but he hissed

“Whoa cold hand!”
He gave a low chuckle into Yugi’s ear and continued his hands path to Yugi’s entrance and healed it

“Better?”
Yugi turned around so they were chest to chest and kissed him

“Much”

“Ok you better get ready for school”

“You’ll walk me to the doors right?”

“Oh but of course”
He loved the smile and mental feelings Yugi sent him, Yami kissed him on the nose then spun him around and scooted him away

“I’ll be in the living room when your done”

“Ok”
Ten minutes later Yugi was coming down the stairs and into the living room, he walked over to Yami and sat down cuddling into him

“What about breakfast?”
Yugi shook his head

“I don’t feel like eating”

“Ah that’s normal”
Yugi gave a groan

“What?”

“Joey will be bugging me all day now”

“Oh. How so?”
He blushed and hid his head

“Because he knows I like you. Oh man and my history teacher, your friend what a argh there’s no way to describe him”
Yami laughed at his complaints

“At least he only says personal things mentally or I’d have to hurt him severely”

“Haha yes I suppose you wouldn’t want this blurted out by any one but yourself”

“That’s right, it’s none of his business”
They stayed silent for a few minutes then Yugi asked

“What are you going to do today?”

“I don’t know, maybe help Solomon in the store if he’ll let me”

“That sounds fun and I’m sure he’ll let you”
He smiled at Yugi and kissed him on the nose, they settled on the couch because they still had 20 minutes to leave. 17 minutes later Yugi had his backpack on and he headed down to the shop

/Just going to say bye to grandpa/

“Ok”
Yugi poked his head through the door

“Bye grandpa we’re heading to school now”

“Have a good day Yugi”

“You bet I will”
Solomon laughed a little at that and Yugi went back upstairs

“Ready?”
Yami asked

“Yep”

“Should we teleport or run?”
Yugi put his index finger to his chin and looked at the ceiling

“Let’s just teleport a little from the school”

“Ok, but you try it. Think of the place you want too go to and say teleport mentally”

“Right”
Yugi thought of an alley close to the school and figured he should teleport Yami too so he held out his hand and Yami took it then said teleport. When he looked around they were in the alley

“Yay”
Yami chuckled at him

“I had not wanted you to teleport me because new ones usually barely have enough energy too teleport themselves but your powers and mine make it like you’ve been one for decades”

“Really cool, well ok let‘s go”
Yami put his right arm around Yugi’s shoulders and Yugi put his left arm around Yami’s middle and leaned into him, they walked out of the alley and saw the school a few yards away and his friends at the entrance. Both walked up to his friends and they all took notice to the way they had come wrapped around each other, Tea smiled she was perfectly fine they were together and happy, Joey had the widest grin on

/Shut it Joey/
He started innocently laughing with his hands in the air, saying out loud

“What I said nothing”
The two beside him looked at him strangely, Yami and Yugi were up to his friends now

“And that’s the way it should stay”

“Oh your no fun”
Joey swished his hands side ways and turned as if to go but just turned around to face them again smiling. Yugi looked at his three friends standing there all smiling at them, he felt all their emotions and all of them were happy

/Hey Yami I think I can sense emotion now and my friends are all happy when their looking at us/

*That is good and you still have more powers to awaken*

“Well we’d better get going to class”
Ryou announced still as quiet as ever

“Yeah”
All said simultaneously, Yami let go of Yugi’s shoulders and turned to walk away. Only to be caught by his elbow

/Hey mister where’s my goodbye kiss?/
He chuckled mentally while turning, he snaked his arm around Yugi’s waist and Yugi met his lips. Then they broke apart Yugi was blushing but smiling, his friends had started walking away but they turned around to see the whole thing. Yugi started sprinting towards his friends waving to Yami and saying

“Goodbye, see you after school. Have fun at the shop”
They then walked into the school and Yami walked away.

“Well what a nice show before class”
Joey snickered only to get yelled at mentally

/Hey! I told you too shut it!/
Joey put his hands to his temples

“Ahh! Ok! Ok! Sooorry!”
Yugi hmphed, striking a poise placing his hands on his hips

“Better be”
Tea and Ryou were looking at each other smiling and shaking their heads, both of them had become quickly adjusted to the new Yugi so it already seemed normal to them that Yugi could be telepathic. Then the bell rang, Yugi groaned

“Great freaky teacher first”
All three of them burst into laughter holding their stomachs at what he had said, Yugi started blushing and walked away pretending not to know them. They all walked into class but there was no teacher yet

“That’s weird. He’s not here yet”
Yugi stated, he may not totally like him yet but Yami said he could be trusted so that was good enough for him

“But we still have a few minutes before he has to come”
Ryou matter-of-factly interjected

“Yeah I guess so, well let’s just sit down then”
A couple of minutes later and the bell rang again and the door opened but it was not Mr. Ane it was a woman with copper spiked hair and light purple eyes. She looked straight at Yugi making him jump a bit

“Ok class Mr. Ane isn’t well today, I am Miss. Hanuka, you will have an easy day all you must do is read chapter 18 in your history book”
Everyone took out their book, after they did Yugi wouldn’t stop staring at the teacher

/I don’t care if you’re the kings mate. STOP STARING BRAT!!/
Yugi yelped and flung his book

“WELL THAT WAS STUPID OF YOU, SHRIMP!! PICK IT AND GO TO THE PRINCIPLES OFFICE NOW!!”

/Yami killed the principle/

“SO IT WAS YOU THAT KILLED THE PRINCIPLE HUH?!”
Tea and Joey jumped up slamming their desks

“HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT?! HE WOULDN’T HURT A SOUL!!”
Both screamed at her, Ryou went and held Yugi’s shaking shoulders. Yugi turned into Ryou’s shirt and hid the silent tears

“AND IT’S YOUR FAULT ROBERTO HAS BEEN CAPTURED AND IS PROBABLY BEING TORTURED!!”
When Yugi heard that he turned around and faced her tears and all

“WHAT?! HOW IS IT MY FAULT?!”

“YUGI!!”
Unknown to him as he became more upset he started to have a black flowing black aura.
~~~~~~~~~~~Kame shop~~~~~~~~

Yami looked up from the shelves

“Uh oh”
He stated calmly

“What?”
Asked Solomon

“I have to go, Yugi is becoming upset and he might end up destroying the school”

“That doesn’t sound good”

“No”
Yami ran up the stairs and teleported himself right outside Yugi’s class. He opened it and quickly ran inside but stopped for a millisecond when he saw Yugi, he got over he shock and ran up to him. Standing between him and the teacher, Ryou had let go of his shoulders when Yami ran up and for that he was grateful

“Yugi? Calm down Yugi”
But Yugi didn’t hear him and his aura was starting to hurt him, he sighed heavily and grabbed Yugi around his waist pulling him right tight against him and kissed him deeply

*YUGI, LOVE? YOU HAVE TO CALM DOWN. OR YOU‘LL DESTROY THIS BUILDING AND EVERYONE IN IT*
That got through to him, then realised Yami was kissing him. He wrapped his arms around Yami’s neck and kissed back desperately. When they separated Yugi buried his head in Yami’s chest and cried out loud not bothering to hide it, he began folding in on himself and Yami slowly lowered them onto the floor into a kneeling position. Everyone in the class was looking at them, then at the teacher who was scowling

*WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!*
But she answered out loud

“IT’S ALL HIS FAULT! BECAUSE OF YOU, HE’S BEEN CAPTURED! IF HE WASN’T BORN I WOULD HAVE MY LOVE, SAFE AND IN MY ARMS!!”
Out of the blue Yugi stopped crying and began convulsing

“YUGI?!!”
Yami and his friends screamed at once, he was only seizing for a few moments and Yami had him cradled in his arms like a baby with Tea Joey and Ryou right of them staring in fear, finally Yugi opened his eyes whispering

“He’s near death but he won‘t give up”
That stopped her yelling and everyone stared at him in shock

“WHAT?!”
She screeched making everyone have to cover their ears except Yugi

“THAT’S IT”
Suddenly she started charging at them but before her fist was an inch to Yami’s face, she was blasted back because Yugi’s black aura came out again and made a huge barrier around them. Yami passed Yugi over to Joey and stood up once it was dissipated glaring at her, seething at her through clenched teeth

“The Prince has been through enough at his young age. Men trying to rape him, one almost killing his grandfather, corrupt cops trying to rape and kill him. You show some respect for him”
At the key points of what Yami said everyone in the room gasped

“I DON’T CARE THAT HE’S THE PRINCE, THE ONLY THING I CARE ABOUT IS MY LOVE”

/Yami/
Yami turned around and faced Yugi who was trying to reach his hand out, Yami knelled down and took his hand and his was instantly hit with images and feelings from Mr. Ane, he smiled kindly at him and stroked his cheek saying

“I see little prince, so just rest now”
Yugi gave a meek smile and Yami put him in a deep sleep

“Take him home please”
He directed at his friends then he stood up and looked around

“Ok for safety I am going to erase most of what you saw”
First though he froze them and quickly made his way around them. Once he was done he unfroze them and they all looked around confused then looked to the floor one girl said

“Yugi looks so angelic sleeping”
Another asked

“Is he really a prince or is just a nickname?”
Yami answered

“Yes he really is a prince”
The whole room erupted in a slow coool, Yami smiled

“Ok as for you Mrs. Ane I’m guessing, your coming with me I know where he is”
He grabbed her by her right bicep but as he was at the door he stopped and stated

“Oh yeah, let me get Bakura to help you get Yugi home”

*Bakura*

/Yes?/

*Sense where we are and help Yugi’s friends get him home, one of his new powers gave him a seizure and it took a lot out of him so I put him to sleep. And I think you’ll be surprised what you find here but transport into the hallway I already erased their memories once I don’t want to do it again*

/Ok/
2 seconds later

/I’m here/
Yami opened the door and Bakura was there

“You were always one of the fastest”

“And proud of it. So where’s the little one”
He pointed to the back where three heads were obviously on the floor Bakura walked past a few rows until he had a clear view of them. Two gasps could be heard in the now dead quiet room,

“Ok tell Solomon that Yugi will be sleeping for a few hours yet”
Bakura and Ryou just stared at each other and a tense atmosphere came into place. Yami left with Miss. Hanuka but poked his head back in

“Less staring more going, nooww”
Bakura chuckled and asked Joey

“Do you want me to carry him? Or are you good?”
Finally Yami left for real

“No I’m good for now”
Joey carefully put a leg under him the other he used to push himself up.
No one spoke while they were in the school and it was Bakura who spoke first after leaving

“So he had a seizure huh?”

“Yes but it was short, I don’t think you can even call it a seizure”
Came Ryou’s quiet voice, Ryou was staring at Yugi but Bakura was looking at him through the corner of his eye. The rest trip to Yugi’s house of the trip no one else spoke each was in their own world. Bakura had tried to read Ryou’s mind but was amused when he found that Ryou was trying to keep his mind on anything except him. Finally they reached the Kame shop, Bakura opened the door for Joey and held it until lastly Ryou went through. They made eye contact and kept it as Ryou went through the door blushing the whole time, Bakura was only a few inches away while walking behind him. Solomon heard the bell jingle to the shop door and looked up from the person he was helping to see Yugi being carried by Joey, rushing out from behind the counter

“YUGI?!”
He ran up to Joey and looking down at Yugi’s face he began stroking his hair

“What happened?”
He whispered

“Well Yami said he had a seizure, he woke up for a bit then Yami made him sleep so he’ll be out for a few hours yet”
Bakura answered

“I don’t think you could call it a seizure”
Ryou objected, Bakura made a noise between a growl and a groan making Ryou eep. Then Solomon realized that they both looked almost identical

“What the?”

“Uhh explain later, he’s getting heavy here.”
To prove his point Yugi began slipping from his grasp before Joey could blink or hold tighter, Solomon was gone with him

“WHAT?!”
He franticly searched the store but they were no where in sight and the man at the counter dropped his things on the floor with his jaw hanging. Bakura slapped his face dragging his hand down he groaned

“Great! Just great! Now I have to clean up after you Solomon.”
Bakura went closer to the freaked out man but he backed away only to end up cornered by Bakura, sighing

“Look I have no problem with you, but you can’t remember what you just saw.”
Reaching for the cornered man, Bakura’s hand glowed baby blue and he touched the man’s forehead and he collapsed and he caught him

“Quickly act like your worried for him. Say he fainted.”
Everyone came over and knelt down beside them. The man became to stir and Tea grabbed his wrist checking his pulse saying mentally

/This way he won’t freaked too much too see unknown people crowded over him/
Not two seconds later the man opened his eyes and Tea spoke out loud

“Well his pulse seems okay”

“Hey look, he’s waking up.”
Ryou expounded, Joey asked

“You okay there buddy?”
He looked around and slowly sat up with Bakura’s help, holding his head he asked

“What happened?”

“Well you were paying for your stuff and you suddenly passed out. You were out a good minute.”

“Oh, well I’m sorry if I startled you.”
Everyone backed away and he grabbed the counter too pull himself up, he didn’t get all the way so Bakura helped him. Once he got up Joey went behind the counter and Tea picked up his dropped items

“There you are, umm?”

“Sana.”

“Oh wow, how do you pronounce that?”

“Like S-On-A.”

“Cool.”
Both boys stated in unison making Bakura roll his eyes, Tea stayed quiet the whole time then she asked when Joey and Ryou shut up

“Does it mean anything?”
He looked to the floor and in a hushed voice said

“Don’t ask me why mom named me it, but it means. ‘The seer of things to come’ which I think is extremely stupid.”
The last part he brought his head up and they could almost see the fire in his eyes, though Bakura had too put his two cents in

“Why would you think that? Many a people were able to do that and it saved countless lives.”
Ryou made a ‘ou’ sound while cocking his head to the side, Bakura snickered and looked him in the eye. Jumping back at the weird feeling he got Ryou looked to the stairs and saw Solomon coming down

“How’s he doing?”
Everyone turned to look at who was at he stairs, Solomon stopped in his tracks in the middle of a step staring at each of them as they hounded him with their eyes

“Uh he’s sleeping soundly.”

“That’s Yami’s a master at putting people to sleep.”
Suddenly screaming sounded through the whole building, everyone’s eyes shot up the stairs. Covering their ears Bakura and Solomon raced to Yugi’s room with the rest behind them minus Sana. Recklessly twisting the door handle almost to the breaking point Bakura flung the open. Only to be thrown back against the wall

“YUGI!”
Solomon screamed and went to go in the room but Bakura stopped him, yelling above Yugi’s scream and the now crackling of the glowing red room

“IT’S NO USE! WE CAN’T GET IN THERE! IT WILL TURN US TOO DUST! ONLY HIS FRIENDS CAN HELP HIM NOW!”
Horrifyingly Bakura spotted a figure close to Yugi’s bed and getting closer still

“RUN!! NOW GET HIM BEFORE IT REACHES HIM!!”
Tea was the first one too burst into the room followed by Joey and Ryou. Blocking the figure from the three of his friends, Joey stood up straight despite the fact he was scared out of his mind making sure Tea and Ryou had picked up Yugi’s struggling form before all of them dashed out of the room

“LET’S GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!”
Ryou screamed

“I’M GONNA IGNORE THE FACT YOU JUST CUSSED UNTIL LATER!! SOLOMON HELP ME TELEPORT THEM! THINK OF THIS PLACE.”
Quickly sending the image of Yami’s front room

/NOW SAY TELEPORT/
Doing as told Solomon helped Bakura teleport them all. Instead of arriving smoothly they all landed in a dog pile with Bakura on the bottom receiving a rug burn on his face. Everyone stayed there and just looked around then at each other forgetting poor Bakura on the bottom

“Is everyone alright?”
Tea asked a few grumbled yes’s were her answer suddenly the pile started moving

“GET OFF ME DAMN IT!!!”
Scrambling off Bakura they looked over at him ready to bolt if he freaked but the sight that presented itself was to funny not to laugh at and soon Joey and Ryou were on the floor holding their stomachs tears coming from their eyes. Tea gave a tiny giggle and looked at Yugi’s now still form in her arms, walking over Solomon retrieved Yugi from her. Both watched as Bakura started chasing the boys, who were shrieking and laughing at the same time and they couldn’t help but laugh at the scene then Solomon placed Yugi on the couch

“OH NO!!”
Tea bellowed causing the boys to crash into each other making yet another dog pile, they all looked at her

“What is it?!”
Bakura growled

“SANA IS STILL IN THE SHOP! WHAT IF THAT THING WENT AFTER HIM!”

“Would ya stop yelling girly. Our ears are a hundred times more sensitive to sound than normal humans.”

“Sorry, but what if he needs help? Or he gets suspicious about what happened upstairs?”
He had to admit she had a point and so he didn’t say anything back

“We have to make sure he’s doesn’t get in trouble.”
Now it was his turn to yell

“ARE YOU NUTS!! IT’S HIS OWN BUSINESS IF HE GETS IN TROUBLE!! Besides that thing can‘t hurt humans. AND I DON’T FEEL LIKE BEING TURNED TO DUST CHICKIE!”

“WELL FINE LET ME GO BACK THERE THEN!!”
Again there was nothing Bakura could say but her friends did

“NO!!”

“Don’t you even dare thinking about it missy.”
Joey scolded

“Who knows maybe he was part of what happened in Yugi’s room. His name does mean ‘seer of things to come’ so don’t chance it.”
Ryou pointed out, Bakura stared at him in shock

“Very open minded aren’t we White Child?”
Faltering at the nickname Ryou just stared at Tea with pleading eyes, she felt bad for having to go against them but she had to make sure everyone was protected on every side

“I’m sorry guys but my minds made up.”
Determinedly looking at them, challenging them too argue. When they sighed and put their heads down Tea knew she had won, turning to Bakura

“Well?”
Muttering something under his breath Bakura took hold of her wrist and teleported them back to Yugi’s house and the top of the stairs a few feet away from the room that could end his immortality, looking at her in mild concern

“Ok Tea you have only a few minutes if you need help just think of me and say well you need help. If he’s gone and is not looking around, you home got that.”

“Thank you.”

“What ever crazy human girl.”
Giggling at his response she watched as he disappeared

“Well then lets get some things cleared up.”
Immediately going down the stairs to the living room and quickly glancing around it she deemed that he was not in the house. Spinning around when something crashed behind her she saw that a vase broke

“That was weird.”
Despite telling herself it was just the wind she now extremely wanted out of the house. Tea turned too see Sana and the figure not a foot away from her looking very crazy

“You were right Tristan. She did come back.”
