You Rocked My World

I take the book from
his grasp. “Study material, college is not as easy as I first thought.” I said
sighing shaking my head.

“You’re the one who
insisted on going into pre-med school.” Bakura said

“I know, at least
I’m going to college though.” I countered stacking the books on my desk
flipping open a basic anatomy book to review.

“You should’ve taken
a year off, your ahead most everyone else skipping the last few grades of high
school in all.” He said looking at me intently again.

“I know, but I can
get through all my pre-courses if I just go to college now…no reason in taking
off a year or anything.” I say returning to my book but my thoughts were once
again broken by the doorbell and Bakura didn’t seem to care so I got up and
answered it surprised to see Marik standing there. Last I heard he and Malik
went back to Egypt together, I invited him in a little uneasy around the spirit
but used to having hid Bad Bakura talk hours on end on the phone…he probably
wanted to see Bakura is why he stopped by, I couldn’t imagine why he would want
to speak with me at all. I smiled at him and told him to wait a moment as I
went upstairs to get Bakura.

”Bakura?” I asked noticing my Yami had again snatched one of my books as I take
it back again not wanting him to mess up my organization. “Quit taking my
book’s and attend to your guest.” I said sitting down and quietly reading the
rest of the ter.ter.

BAKURA’S P.O.V.

I glare at Ryou slightly when he took the book, for a second
time, form me it was actually interesting too, but decided to see who was
coming over. If it was that Pharaoh, I swear I’m going to kill him. I had
enough of a problem with Ryou going out with the Pharaohs brat, then he goes
and asks Ryou out himself, and worse of all Ryou accepts. That was the worst
day of my life I swear. I was more than surprised to see Marik of all people
lounged about in my living room.

“What are you doing here?” I ask sincerely “Last I heard you
and Malik were living happily together in Egypt.” I said knowing how much he
cared for his Hikari.<

“We separated, I wanted to go back to the city but he wanted
to stay.” He said.

“You split up because of different location desires?” I said
not believing him.

“I don’t care for details at the moment Bakura, down to the
point though we simply split up and I moved back down here.” He said.

“Whatever.” I say realizing he didn’t wish to talk about it
with me at all really. “So what brings you here though?” I ask

“You, we always had a good time together. Why not get back
into the habit of spending time with you.” He said.

I laughed slightly “Sure, although I think Ryou will kill me
if we conduct our little crime spree plot’s here.” I said simply.

“Why?” He asked, “He never really had a problem before.” He
states

“That was before college and pre-med training.” I said
rolling my eyes at my Hikari.

“Oh…I thought he was still in high school…big achiever?” He
asks

“Obviously.” I answer back. “Quite annoying really, he’s so
wound up in school he doesn’t have anytime for fun…he doesn’t even spend time
with the ‘gang’ anymore although I’m quite happy about that.” I emphasize

“I’m surprised the pharaoh is still alive after he and Ryou
had…” I glare at him making him shut up before he finished his sentence. “Still
sore about it I see..” Marik said trailing off a bit.

“More irritated than sore, you know we don’t get along.” I
said sitting down on the couch across from his as we continued to talk about
the things that have happened between us I the years we have been apart…it was nice
to him again. Marik thought we should take Ryou with us wherever we went and
actually I thought it would be a good idea, he needed to unwind a little
bit…just take a day off but I doubted he would agree to such a thing and I was
right.

Ryou’s P.O.V.

Was Bakura crazy…well yes he was…but still.

“Bakura I can’t! I have finals to study for, I can’t make below an A, and I
have to study.” I said as I turned away from him trying to go back to my books.

“You work to hard, you need to take a break…besides your
test isn’t for two week’s you have plenty of time to study one night couldn’t
hurt.” Bakura insisted taking away my book and keeping it out of my reach.

“I have a life to attend to!” I said trying to take the book
from him as Marik simply laughed at us and considering the way we acting I
didn’t blame him. “Come on Bakura, you know I can’t afford to play around!”
Ryou said jumping up to get the book but not succeeding at it. When Bakura
threw the book to Marik I gave up for the time being, I trusted my Yami, and I
was always a little a wary around the other spirit and I wasn’t about to make
any sudden movements around him.

“Come on.” Bakura said kneeling to meet my eyes. “I promise
fun.” He said giving me a smile.

I sighed looking between Marik and Bakura until I shook my
head defeated. “Fine, I’ll go…where are we going exactly?” I asked curiously.

Well that’s it for the first chapter of “You Rocked My
