Chapter 1: Relate
*Honda's POV*
Ahh, lunch. I love this time of day. I get to hang out with all my buds and eat
delicious food.
"Honda? You seem extra happy today." Yugi says, knocking me out my daze.
"Oh...nothing. I'm just thinking about my lunch is all."
"Do you whe where Jounouchi is?"
"Nope. Hopefully he wasn't mouthing off again and had to miss lunch."
"He would really hate that. It's a beautiful day." Yugi says, looking up at the
sky.
"Damn Kaiba...always gettin in my damn way..."
I turn around to see Jounouchi storming over to the table. Must have gotten
into it again with Kaiba.
He slammed his tray on the table, sending half of the food onto the table and
ground.
"Ya gotta calm down." I tell him.
"What happened this time?" Yugi asks.
"I was in line gettin my food when Kaiba intentionally walks into me! Then he
blames me for 'being in his way' and then he starts callin me 'inu'! One day...
that bastard's gonna get it!"
(AN: Seto and Jou have just started dating, but they keep the same relationship
towards each other while in school.)
"Look, Jou, just calm down and eat." I tell him once again.
He looks down at his food, which is almost mixed together and sighs. He picks
up his chopsticks and eats anyways.
"Hey guys. I heard there's a new transfer student." Yugi says, trying to get
something interesting going.
"Really? Who is she?" Jou asks.
"It's a he." Yugi corrects Jou.
I look at Yugi. Even though Jou and him are my best friends, I hide a deep
secret from them.
"Hey Yugi, Jounouchi, Honda!" I hear someone call.
I turn around to see Ryou and Malik walking towards us. They set their
trays down and take a seat.
"Hey guys." I say to them.
"Have you heard about the transfer student Yugi?" Malik asks.
"Yea, we were just talking about him." Yugi replies. "I think his name is
Ryuji Otogi. He's the creator of that game...umm...Dungeon Dice Monsters."
"Wow, really?! A game creator, our age? Coming to Domino High?!" Jou
says inbetween chews.
"I was in the Principal's office today and he said that Honda is going to
be his guide." Ryou replies.
"Who? Me?" I ask in shock that someone like me would guide anyone
around campus.
"Yea. Takeshi-sensei said that either you do it, or you will finish serving
the rest of your detention time. He said that if you do it without getting
into a fight, then he'll make today your last day of detention for the
rest of the year." he adds.
"Umm...I gotta go." I say, getting up and taking my tray to the trash. "I
need to go to the office to see if this is true."
"Bye Honda, good luck." Jou waves to me.
I run off akesakeshi-sensei's office and knock on his door. I peek in
the opened door to see his swivel chair turned away from me. He's
looking outside. He turned around and see me peeking carefully
around the corner.
"Ahh, Hiroto-san. Just the student I needed to see." He says motioning
for me to come in.
I shut the door behind me and take a seat.
"It's good to see you in here for something other than fighting."
"Full of surprises, aren't I?"
He has a laugh then hands me a folder.
"This is the student you will be showing around tomorrow. So please
be on time."
I look at the folder and the first thing that catches me is his photo. He
is a very handsome man with long black hair and emerald-colored eyes.
"I know that you're wandering why I want you of all people to be
his guide."
"Everyone needs to do something nice every once in a while."
"Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny Hiroto-san, but either you do this successfully
and have all your detentions removed for the year, or you don't do it
successfully and you'll have so much detention until you will still be
finishing your time at 50."
"Whatever you say Takeshi-sama."
"You keep that attitude up and you'll start your sentence today!"
"Ok. Ok. Ok. I'll do it. Successfully."

*YAWN* Being to school on time is stress on the body. I can't believe
it's 7:30 and I'm here...
"Ahh...Hiroto-san, I see that you made it."
Damn you.
"Don't worry, this will be well worth your time."
It better be.
"Well, here is the new student, his name is Ryuji Otogi. Now you fellas
play nice. If you need anything, I'm in my office." Takeshi says walking
away.
"So, I guess you may already know my name." I say to him. He's looking
down at his shoes. What the hell is his problem.
"Hey, bub. Are you ok?"
He looks up at me with the most amazing emerald eyes I've ever seen. It's
almost as if it hypnotized me...took me to another world where I was king.
All that, in 2 seconds...
"I'm sorry. I'm just nervous is all." he replies quietly.
"I should be nervous. I'm standing next to the guy who created Dungeon
Dice Monsters. How much are autographs?"
"Oh no. Don't be nervous. Autographs are free. And DDM isn't such a big
deal anyways."
Is this guy for real? He's still cute though.
"Come on. Today isn't going to move for us now is it?" I say taking his
hand and leading him to his first class.
(
(Lunch, Outside under the Cherry Trees)
This guy is cool. I'm really starting to like him a lot more than just
his features.
"So, where are your friends Honda?" he asks.
"Right over there. Do you see the guy with the 3-colored hair?"
"Yea. Is that natural or dyed?"
"Natural growth believe it or not. He tried to dye it all black, but that
didn't work. Then he tried all blonde, but that didn't work. He even
tried to cut it off, and use all kinds of products to make it lay down,
but in the end, it always ended up like that."
We walk over to the usual table and I introduce him to everyone. Once
again, except for Jounouchi.
"Hello there, have a seat Ryuji-kun." Yugi says making room for us.
"Enjoying it here?" Ryou asks.
"Yea. It's great so far. Everyone is so nice." He replies.
We eat lunch and continue to talk. Then the bell rings for the afternoon
classes.
After school, I'll invite him to come over to my apartment.
"Hey, Otogi, what are you doing after school?"
"Nothing much. I was going back to Black Crown to do a couple
interviews for the press. I'll be free around 6."
"Well, if you want, you can come over to my place to hang out."
"Really? That would be so great. Thanks Honda!" he says running to
me and giving me a hug.
Hug...could he be...? Nah.

There's the 1st chapter. I know you all were about to fall asleep,
but I can't give ya all the action the 1st chapter now can I? (Well
yea I can, but this isn't a one-shot.) Please reivew, tell me if you

*Honda's POV*
Ahh, lunch. I love this time of day. I get to hang out with all my buds and eat

I turn around to see Jounouchi storming over to the table. Must have gotten
into it again with Kaiba.
