Prologue

“We stop here Aknadin.” Aknamkanon says sternly. “We have established a peace that will last for centuries. A peace my son Atem can flourish in.”

Desperation creeps into Aknadin's voice “But sire our country will appear to grow complacent in the eyes of our enemies! We can translate more of The Book of Millennium and secure our country for thousands of years vs centuries!”

“Enough Aknadin! I have told you what will be done and you will honor my decision!” Aknamkanon's eyes burn with the powerful might of his country. “The book of Millennium will remain untranslated.”

Aureliana sensing his impatience gestures towards one of her Harpies who replies. “Sir our informants in Egypt speak of an ancient tome that the Egyptians translated to obtain their power. Mistress Aureliana has asked us all to look for other tomes of great magick. It seems we have many legends ourselves here in Rome. Legends speak of the Druids who danced naked under the light of the moon for great magick. She is such a Druid and with her was THIS.” The Harpy hands him the so called “Night Grimoire”

“Hm.” Aelius stares at the book intently feeling something from it. An aura of sinister power. “Translate this immediately. It's time our country regained its glory.”

Chapter 1
