Chapter one
Jesse Andersen looked at his reflection in the mirror of the dance-club’s bathroom. He was wearing a black mesh club shirt and faux leather pants.

Jesse could hear the thumping of the base in the club music coming from outside the bathroom door – it was time to make himself seen. He went out onto the dance floor and allowed his body to move to the beat of the music, knowing that he was already drawing attention to himself.

After awhile however, all; the non-stop dancing was beginning to tire him out. He decided that it was time to go to the bar for a bottle of water. The bartender smirked at him when he ordered, handing him the desired bottle.

The blunette nodded to him in thanks, flashing a brilliant smile as he cracked open the bottle. He leaned against the bar as he drank. Several people approached him; wanting a dance, a number, a fuck in the backroom. Jesse politely declined all of them.

“Waiting for somebody?” the bartender asked when he got the chance. Jesse turned to the man to answer him.

“Uh, no not really,” he admitted, smiling. The bartender smiled back.

“I thought as much. You new in town?” he asked.

“Yeah, kinda. Is it that obvious?” he replied. The bartender smiled.

“I’m Aster. So what brings you to the city anyway?”

”My parents…well, they found out I was gay…my dad went kind of ballistic. They kicked me out, so I came here. Why am I sharing this with you?” the blunette asked uncomfortably,

“Aw, sorry to hear that,” the bartender consoled, “so are you staying with friends?” Jesse shook his head.

“I’m still looking for a good place to stay. Actually, I’ve been in a motel since I got here.”

“That can’t be cheap, you should….”

“Bartender! Who do you have to fuck to get a drink around here?” an impatient customer interrupted the conversation.

“Excuse me,” the bartender smiled apologetically.

Jesse nodded as he left to tend the customers. He finished his water; but he didn’t feel like he had the energy to go back out onto the dance floor just yet. Instead, he decided to lean up against a wall for some support, resting. It was then he realized the wall was no wall at all; it was a person’s chest.

“Hey there, are you feeling okay?” The man he had leaned up against chuckled. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Jesse knew he shouldn’t be this tired.

“Yeah…yeah, just a little,” the European paused, realizing he was on the verge of passing out.

“Maybe you should sit down for awhile,” the man suggested. Jesse smiled inwardly.

“Yeah, maybe I should...” he trailed off, falling into the man’s arms, barely conscious. Too exhausted to open his eyes again.

“Oh hey! Hey, come on, wake up! Aw shit, come on kid!” the blunette felt his body being dragged, carried somewhere. “Hey, this guy just passed out on me!” the man sounded concern.

“Here, bring him back here behind the bar. I’ll take care of him.” Another voice, the bartender replied. And then, Jesse Andersen truly lost consciousness, loosing sight of the world around him.
