Experimentation

Normally when you wake up you feel ready to start the new day. but in my case and this morning it wasn't like that. I felt strange, like my body had vanished altogether. I also felt buoyant, but that was only my head, or something much lighter. I wasn't breathing, or better yet I couldn't breath even if I wanted to. If that wasn't bad enough to wake up to I also found myself in a strange place. It wasn't home, where I had fallen asleep, but somewhere else. Someplace I didn't recognize.

"So you've awoken. I was beginning to think I lost you." I heard a voice say. I was suddenly turned and staring into bright green eyes. They struck me as familiar. "Don't panic Kaiba. You are fine. Well as fine as someone like you could be."

I glared at this guy. -What have you done to me!- I then realized how stupid that was. I wasn't breathing so how could I shout.

For some reason though the guy understood me. "You've become my greatest experiment now Kaiba." He had a thick German accent.

I was able to see his full face now as he moved away from me. What he said had spooked me to no end. -Experiment?!- The guy had long pink hair and light skin. He wore a white lab coat with dark purple slacks and black dress shoes. -What did you do to me?!-

He smirked at me while picking something up. "Well dearest Kaiba why not look for yourself." He then held a mirror before me. Staring back at me was a pair of cold blue eyes, my eyes, and what I could only assume was my own brain. "I have successfully removed your brain from your body while leaving your eyes intact. I placed your brain within a jar of highly oxygenated water." Well that answered why I felt buoyant.

I could feel anger burning in my eyes. -What is it you want with me? And what have you done to my body?!- I was scared about my life. About the possibilities of this madman using my body to get my company. He could even harm Mokuba.

The guy had turned and walked away from me. He never did answer my questions. "The human body is an interesting organism. So much is still unknown about what it can do." I saw him walk over to a table which I noticed a body laying.

I stared at the body and then dread took over all of my emotions at that moment when I realized that the body on that table was my own. It was just laying there not moving. I had no idea what to do or think at that moment. My mind was completely blank.

The guy then did the unthinkable, he ran the back of his fingers along my jaw line and up my cheek. He smiled brightly. "You are a very gorgeous person Seto Kaiba. You've been in my eye for a long time now. To bad you never saw that in me." I watched him circle around the table. He ran his hands across skin, under my shirt, along my face, even; this one caused me to shutter; under the hem of my pants.

As I watched him I was getting more and more furious. He was touching my body and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. I started to notice that my body was responding to the touches, but not in a manner I liked. It actually looked as if my body was enjoying the attention of touches from his fingers. -What have you done to my body?! Why is it responding like that if my mind isn't in it?!- I was confused and pissed and I suppose I was scared too.

He wasn't paying attention to me though as he had never answered me. "I'll be back in a few minutes. I have to go and get something. You can behave, right?" He smirked and walk out of the room.

I was freaked as I stared at my body. I could only imagine what he could do to me. Switch my mind with someone else for his own benefit. He could even some how place his mind inside my body. -What did I do to deserve this?- I felt lost and dead.

"Well you could have been a nicer person." I heard a voice say out to me. It sounded so familiar to me. Yet I had no idea where the voice was coming from. Then my body started to move on it's own accord. "You've hurt so many people Seto."

I watched as it sat up and looked at me. -What's going on here? Why is my body moving on it's own?- I was freaked to say the least.

It stared at me with metal gray eyes. "Your body? I don't think so. Not anymore anyways. Siegfried says I can have it now." I watched in amazement as it smiled brightly and hugged itself. I won't refer to my body as him because it's mine.

The name though struck my memory though. -Siegfried... That little kid I met so long ago at one of those parties high class business men have. What does he want with me?- Nothing made sense at the moment. It was like I went into some strange alternate universe or something.

My body only continued to smile. "He wants me in your body. My mind was created by him to love him and cherish him. Your body feels so nice too. I don't ever want to give it up." It rubbed it's chest with a glorious smile on it's face.

Everything just continued to crumble around me. -What about me and my life? Does that mean nothing now?! Give me my body back!- I wanted to sound tough and pissed, but I knew it sounded sad and desperate. I didn't want to be there and my body knew that too.

It got up and walked over to me. "Poor little brain is going to be master Siegfried's pet for the rest of his life." It rubbed the side of the jar I was in and smiled. It then stood straight and turned around.

"So you've finally gotten control over his body. That's good to see. Now we can finally start our plans." I could hear him, the guy my body referred to as Siegfried, but I couldn't see him as my body stood between us.

My body took a few steps away from me and then I saw it hug him. "It's a perfect fit master. Thank you!" It looked back at me and smiled. "I have you to thank too."

I turned my eyes away from it. -You stole my body from me. I never had the chance of fighting for it. Hopefully those stitches on your head won't leave to bad of a scar.- I just wanted this nightmare to be over. I didn't want to rot in some jar.

Siegfried smiled a very cruel smile. "Let's go now. We have a lot to do. Good night Seto." He and my body both left without another word. They turned the lights off when they left, leaving me in the dark.

I was seriously scared about what was going to happen. I didn't like being trapped like a rat. It made me feel nervous and edgy. Yet I knew that I couldn't do anything to save my life. -My life is over...- Everything felt hopeless when you couldn't move. I wanted nothing more then to just wake up and be at home. Home in my nice big bed and in my body where I belonged. No matter how much I begged and pleaded with whatever god was out there nothing was going to change and I knew it. That's when the lights came on.

"Hello? Is someone in here?" I heard a shy voice say. I didn't know what to do as someone walked into the room slowly. "I know someone's in here. Where are you? I just want to talk." The voice vaguely sounded like my own, but a little more like that of a girl. As the person got closer to me I saw that it was a girl. I watched her as she searched for someone, I could only guess me. That's when I noticed the oddest thing. She looked just like me. Then she saw me and smiled sadly. "There you are."
