Chapter 1: Grandpa!

About: After years of peaceful life, the world is dying gradually because of their last resort of survival is being captured. It has lead to one of the world's prophecies that can wipe out all that is left of the world, unless it is stop. As a result, heroes and enemies must join together in order to stop it before an evil threat accomplish and releases its plan with the dreams. Can Unfa's and Loma's set there own differences and used each unique talent to stop there enemy, for dreams may be the key to keep the world from dying.

The world once was filled with Yumes, Yumes that people had when their bodies felt numb and their mind race during nighttime. As the people of this world grew and grew Yume's become scarce, unable to bring hope to these people, to find the meaning of their existence. Yume's that once filled the hearts of these people for a better future turn down. The world was supply by 7 yume's who had an important role and reminded each person to never give up and keep going for they will dream. This 7 "dreamers" are hidden across the world, each doing its own role in this world. However, evil will always roam and will always cause trouble resulting more conflicts and cursing the world. Unless, they are saved because what is left of the world will die unless its powers come back, because dreams are everlasting.

"Sir, Im sorry to bothered you but. There seems to be a distraction in the northern hemisphere" said a female voice, a bright light appeared showing a map. Tick, Tock, Tick Tock, echoed in the room.

"Here is where the first victim got annihilated two weeks. The second victim was found dead at the 5th quadrant next to the ruins of Nod.
A young man stayed quiet fixing his hat, while a large emblem hang on his neck that symbolize the faith of the world. His mouth curved slightly then said, "Any reports of the people involve in it?"

"No sir, Whereabouts are unknown however, we have concluded that...they are being targeted by an evil force" said the female.
"I see...then it is time I order the Ominous to appear" he said snapping his fingers, then another light appear.

"As you wish My Imperial" said a young man, bowing down. His hair shadowed most of his face, keeping a distance from this important man who had an important duty, a duty that came from their lord.

"Go and rescue them before those culprits kill them. You have my word to do whatever it takes to stop these vile people. If we don't act now, we will lose them after-all...We depend on them for the existence of this world. Without them, Our yume's won't never come back" he said seeing the Ominous nod and disappeared.

"As for you, seek those who are willing to join. I predict this is going to be a difficult task for this world to see, and i wish for the best that the prophecy doesn't come true. Understand My lady? asked the man.

"Yes my Imperial of God, Bless me your wishes" she said bowing as he raised his hand making a small aura appear. "Let god decided our fate for this world, and hope for it to dream once more, then the young lady vanish as the Imperial of god sigh.

The clear white sands glittered by the glorious sea, as a young boy enjoyed its view. The sea quietly sat there while the boy's pupil turn wide, breathing heavenly, grasping the white shades called sand. He heard a noise peeking to his dowel object and reel in his hook. A small living animal was attack to the hook, trying its way to go back to the sea.

"Sugoi! I caught one" he cried standing up quickly and taking his prize back to home. The boy ran off wanting to surprise his elder while he work in the house by the sea. "GRANDPA! GRANDPA! Look what I caught"

"Hmm that is one mighty fish you got there Yug" said his grandfather smiling.
"Here grandpa take it. I caught it for dinner" said yugi smiling back.

"Well then we shall prepared it and set up a fire while we watch the stars"

"Hai, I will seek to it that i get enough wood for the fire" said the boy as he ran off to do that.
Night time had fallen quickly while the fish got cooked under the fire. His grandfather poke it with a stick then let it cook well, looking up at the gorgeous stars that illuminate the night. Sugori Mutoh was loved by everyone who live in the small peaceful town of Sweetwater. Everyone knew he was a hard working person who came in this town when he was a young man. His wife had died giving birth to his only daughter in which she grew and marry a man who was Yugi's father. Then both yugi's parents had died in a violent accident, in which Grandpa had to take care of his grandson. Yugi mutoh grew up to see his grandfather as his own father, and always helped him around the market. His grandfather looked sort of like him except the times when he would wrap a bandana to keep his bangs from blocking his sight. This past years have been great yet there were those times where the ecosystem of the land would disappeared and reappeared again. Yugi pluck lightly the grass, then observe the way his grandfather would light a pipe and look up, as if he daydream. He would never ask him but he was sure deep down that his grandfather was unique in a special way, it is why he look up to him all the time.

"Grandpa how come we can't dream?" asked Yugi noticing the jawline of his grandfather become strong then his eyes look upon his grandson.

" Yugi why the sudden question, Is something bothering you?
"Me? No...just curious but to tell you the truth i always like asking questions" said yugi smiling.

"Yes i can tell. Its good for the young mind to be filled with questions. Im Not sure why. Perhaps, people have forgotten to dream for so long that it makes this planet of ours weak each time. The elements of our planet is disappearing and so will life as well.

"But I though it came back, I found our dinner today"

"I know but...sometimes I think our planet does it to warn us it needs our help"

"Help? like saving it? asked yugi interested about it.

"Hai, there still those who dream, and keep this world alive. As long as they still live we be alright. Dreams are ever lasting and the one who dreams can make things come true for a better life, especially like one of legends told." said grandpa then remove the fish. "Now its time for eating and not spend our time worrying about this.

"Oi, well before we eat grandpa. If you were to dream what would it be? asked the young boy seeing his grandfather stop. "My Yume you mean?

"Hai Yume.

"Hmm...I can't tell but i do know is this. Its something that will help people remember" said Grandpa smiling then eat quietly. //He still small to understand things//. Yugi nodded not wanting to pressure his grandfather as they two continue to eat.

"Night grandpa cried yugi going to his room seeing his grandfather waved bye.

"Night yugi, have a pleasant sleep ok? said his grandfather as he slip off to go to his room.
Yugi sigh enjoying the nice view of the sea from his window. His eyes look around seeing the houses that were close to the port then focus on the sea once more.
"If I were to dream, I would dream of hope to come, that would surely help me alot" said yugi.
Then the young boy yawn cutely, his body slowly collapsed on the bed for a nice sleep while the air of the night was calm.
During the night, A light appear near the town making a signal for its people to wake up. Yugi remain sleeping till his grandfather appear and shook the boy.
"YUGI WAKE UP! we have to go now! he cried as the boy yawn. "ugh what time is it? he asked then saw the expression of his grandfather. "What's wrong?

"No time to explain, Let's get out of here ok" said Grandpa as he took yugi hand to get out of the house. The moment they got out of the house, the sounds of canons were heard which cause the boy to look back seeing the town burn in ashes. "Don't look! his grandfather said as he covered the boy's eyes to ignore the blazing flames while its people ran away from it.

The town is being attack just like you order sir"

"Good. Its time to collect my prize from this town. who would of known one of them lived around here" said a person smirking as he look at the town getting destroy by his men. Vicious pirates arrive destroying everything in there path, people continue to scream of agony and pain. The peacefulness of the town was shattered by this people in which brought force to eliminated those who opposed them, while grandpa hurry to get yugi out of the town.

"Grandpa were are we going?"

"We have to get out of here or they will capture us. There a lifeboat nearby which it will take us to safety" said grandpa as they went to the opposite direction of everyone.
They arrive near the port, then his grandfather went close to the bushes unveiling the boat his grandfather refer to. Grandpa told yugi to step in the boat, then struggle while the boat slowly moved to be place in the water. Yugi sat quietly before he saw a butch of pirates coming towards them, which his grandfather hurry up seeing them as well, "Yugi i want you to get out here without me".

"But grandpa I can't leave without you" said yugi, his purple eyes build up tears trying to fight the emotions inside of him. "Don't ask me that..."

"You have to or they will get you too. Yugi your still young and don't worry about me. My time was coming anyway. Just remember, this world will die and soon people will once more dream, because dreams are everlasting. Live out your life said Grandpa smiling as he gave a strong push seeing the boat move in the water. Yugi couldn't believe what he had just heard but then he look down seeing there was a small device that help him navigate the boat. A cascade of tears slowly appeared, making the boy shivered of fear but mostly of sadness.

"Don't LEAVE ME he cried loudly seeing the shores of the town go smaller and smaller while his grandfather waved bye.

//Yugi, You'll be save i just know it.// He though, then his eyes look back seeing the group of pirates surrounded him. Footsteps were heard seeing a shadow figure hide while the flames uproar in the background smirking, seeing the old man glare.

"I knew someday I will die in the hands of people like you" said grandpa.

"Yes just like the others, you will join them in the realm. Now old man...tell me what I seek. What dream do you hold? he asked, while he hold a small object that glow.

Grandpa sigh looking back at the sea seeing the direction of his grandson, then suddenly he laugh. "You'll have to find out, because I'm not telling you".

Yugi continue to cry as he look around finding an object to see far as he held the object high. His eyes widen seeing the shadow figure near his grandfather, then an intense aura appear which caused yugi eyes to shut. He then peek seeing the aura go straight in his grandfather chest, gasping in the air while a small orb came out of him then collapsed on the floor, lifeless.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO GRANDPA!!!!! cried yugi hysterically as he covered his eyes crying more.

The shadow figure smirked then look directly to the water as he heard the young boy's scream making a signal to capture it and destroy. Then suddenly the air grew strong making a gap in the sky. Yugi look up seeing a huge object that appear to be a ship. It descended from the sky going down to the sea, making giant waves of water which cause yugi boat to rock back and forth.

"GAH cried yugi as he nearly fall from the boat seeing the ship float, a ladder magically appeared. "Hurry climb up! cried a voice.

Yugi look at it then look back seeing those same pirates who attack his homeland, shoot cannons, trying to aim at the boat he was in. The boy did not think twice climbing in the ladder. The ship once more lifted up in the air, as the rest of pirates went back to their own ship to catch up with them. Yugi hold on to the ladder feeling a hand reaching out of him and climb him up on the board.

"Your darn lucky boy, just Sit down and hold yourself together because its time for a BATTLE! cried a young man who look just like yugi except with longer hair and darker voice. He went away talking with another young man who had the prettiest blue eyes, yet cold as ice going to his battle position as the rest of them. The ship's crew ran away like mice in search for food noticing the enemy's ship ahead and were ready to fire their weapons.

The two ships were now in the sky surrounded by the clouds and air to be their witness and guide. Cannonballs were exchange, Bullets were redirected and all sort of things were occurring while yugi stood away from the battle scene.

"Lets Take those Scalawags down to their DEATH" cried their captain smirking.
"AYe aye! cried his crew, then continue to fired. They keep doing this, trying to make the enemy give up then there cannons stop, while the other ship's crew cried of joy. Their captain grin seeing his enemy had stop but didn't realize that the enemy had revealed something.

"um Captain Yami don't want to burst your bubble but...they seem to be ready to charge that laser of theirs. IT'S THE DEATH CANNON" cried a young man with blonde hair, his honey dew eyes had fear in them but also worried about the enemy's greatest weapon.

"WHat the devil? cried yami seeing the other ship charge it well to its fullest potential.

"Deploy it and seek death to them"

"Yes captain we will said his men smirking as they fired the cannon laser hitting the boat's end and top part of the crow's nest.

"GAH! cried Yami's men looking at the damages. Yugi moved away from the flames, as it started to ruin the ship. Then suddenly water appeared as a magician with glowing purple eyes, semi blueish hair remove it. "I don't think she can't ride in that condition Master..."

"Then let's deploy our own. RELEASE THE SPELLBINDING WINGS! cried Yami.
A massive of wings shaped of a hawk appeared as it covered the entire ship. A huge symbol was painted in its wings, shining glorious while the enemy's cannon laser aim at it but reflected its attacks back to them.

"My lord, our attacks are getting block. what shall we do?

"Hmm..forget them. I have what i wanted, we will come back to destroyed them later.
Yami noticed the enemy's boat stop attacking, seeing them fled the battle knowing it was pointless to chase them. "Looks like their gone along with it...

Yugi look at the enemy ship disappeared into a mysterious fog, then look down. //Grandpa...why you too? why did you have to die//. His body shivered while tears rolled down once more. Yami look seeing the boy cry then went to him, "Its ok...cry...

The small boy nodded as he continue to cry longer till his voice got horse and got tired through the night.
