Author Note: This is done in two parts. First up is Seto’s Birthday then Jounochi’s Birthday.
October 25: Happy Birthday, Seto!
The tall brunet walked into the school, hoping this day would end. ‘The sooner, the better,’ he thought, frowning as he remembered this morning and how his brother had came flying into his room, jumping onto the CEO's bed.
FLASHBACK
“Happy Birthday, Seto!” He looked up, scowling. “Go away, Mokuba, you know how I feel about today.” Seto stated in no uncertain terms. “But Seto, it’s your birthday; can’t you be happy at least one day out of the year?” Seto looked at his brother. The problem was his little brother wanted him to be happy on every special occasion. It wasn’t just one day out of the year.
“Okay, that’s enough of this nonsense. It’s time to get ready for school.” He said, pushing Mokuba off his bed and out of the room, turning around to start getting ready.
END FLASHBACK
As the CEO walked toward his locker, he saw a blond head of hair standing near it. ‘Just what I need; the mutt bothering me today of all days.’ Jou didn’t seem to notice him at first and Seto realized this when he saw the blond slipping something into Seto's locker. Seto's eyes narrowed. “What are you doing, mutt?” At the sound of Seto’s voice, Jou jerked, bumping into the taller man. Looking like the cat that had swallowed the canary, it was obvious he knew he had gotten caught. Smiling sweetly, he looked up at Kaiba and said, “Nothing.” At this remark, Seto grabbed Jou by the collar, bringing their faces close enough that people would wonder if they were going to kiss. “I know better than that, mutt. Shall we see what you put in my locker?” Still holding onto the other teen, Seto turned to his locker and opened it. Seto picked up the envelope and looked at it. By the shape of it, he knew exactly what it was.
Turning on Jou, Seto smirked. “If this is what I think it is, you’re in trouble.” Jou knew exactly what it was. Seto, now pinning Jou to the lockers, opened the envelope and scowled. Then to the amazement of Jou and anyone else that might have been there but weren't since the hall was empty, the CEO gave the most beautiful smile that Jou had ever seen.
Letting go of the blond, he turned to him and said one thing. “Thank you, no one has given me such a lovely gift.” Before he turned and walked away, he gave Jou a passionate kiss, telling him to meet the brunet after school where he could thank the teen properly. Looking forward to claiming his puppy, he had to admit that the card was the best birthday gift he had ever gotten. He had finally gotten the puppy he had always wanted.
The gift that Jou had given to him was a card with his Blue Eyes White Dragon on it, a poem written on the inside.
Eyes so blue cold and piercing
A heart of stone solid and hard
A passion that burns through the soul
Hiding, needing, wanting that simple touch
Of someone who cares.
The eyes so blue turn warm and caring

January 25: Jounochi’s Birthday
Seto sat, looking at his calendar and frowned. Jou’s birthday was on the 25th and he wasn’t sure what to get for his puppy. They had been together since the CEO's birthday and their feelings were growing stronger for one another everyday.
There was only one problem; the blond wouldn’t move into the mansion, his pride and stubbornness insisting that he do things for himself. That was one of the things Seto loved about Jou. He didn’t let money or its trappings sway him. A simple card was one thing but he needed something special to go with it.
Seto paused, remembering how Jou had been admiring a rare, one of a kind, Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon. Smirking, he decided to call Pegasus and get one delivered. He knew he would owe him big time but for his puppy and seeing him smile...Would be well worth it.
Seto approached Jou’s locker on his birthday, hoping he would like the card and the gift. As he moved closer to his destination, the brunet noticed Jou talking to his friends and laughing at some stupid joke. Standing there patiently, Jou finally looked up and smiled, excusing himself from his friends before walking over to his boyfriend. “Hey Seto,” he said, wondering what was going through his lover's mind. “Happy Birthday, Katsuya.” Seto said as he kissed him and handed over the card and gift.
Jou looked at it, smiling, “Thanks.” Opening the card and reading the message, he smiled again before turning to the gift and tearing off the Red Eyes Black Dragon wrapping paper. Inside was a small, nondescript box. Taking the lid off, Jou's jaw dropped. He was speechless, he couldn’t believe it. It was the card he had been eyeing for weeks, knowing that he couldn’t afford it but had been saving up to buy it.
Jou threw his arms around Seto, giving him a full blown kiss in the middle of the school hallway, not caring if anyone saw him. “Thank you, Seto! I love it and I love you,” Jou said. Seto wrapped his arms around the blond's waist and smiled. “Happy Birthday, Jounouchi Katsuya.”
