Fuzzy Snow

A/N: I know its January but it’s snowing here badly so I thought why not? If you think I’m copying then poop to you. Sure there are others similar but that doesn’t mean I copied so there.

The snow drifted lightly in front of the large windows of Kaiba Corp. Tower. The CEO however wasn’t paying attention to the light drizzle of frozen rain. He was more interested in clearing work up for a couple of months so he could finally take a well disserved vacation.

Well that and Mokuba had threatened to tell a certain someone his brother had a huge crush on them as well as destroy a few non replaceable things. Sure it was cruel but it worked and made the tired brunette babe hurry up his process.

“Mokuba’s going to be a business tyrant…” Seto grumbled to himself clicking the computer mouse with one hand while signing contracts with the other. It was a strange multitasks but Seto apparently knew what he was doing.

“If only I didn’t have to worry about all this stupid work… at least as soon as it’s done I can concentrate on relaxing” he told himself, his sapphire eyes drooping slightly from excessive lacking of sleep. A sudden ringing jolted the CEO awake it was his cell phone.

“Kaiba” the CEO responded after flipping the cover up. He paused as he listened to what the person on the other side had to say.

“What do you mean you can’t get out?” he growled out having never really paid attention to how much it had been snowing. Swinging the plush leather office chair around Seto stood up and quickly made his way over to the window. He groaned as he saw that no one was out on the streets due to the unexpected shower of snow.

“Hmn…that is a good question…I guess I’ll walk then” he told the person on the other line.

“No that’s not necessary. I don’t want idiots running around trying to locate the building” the other recipient clearly argued.

“It’s not that far Roland really” the CEO assured.

“Listen I don’t have time to chat, I’ll just take some work with me and stay at home for my vacation time” Seto told him.

“I’m just leaving now” the sound of papers and other such do dats being placed into the metal brief case was a good sign to Roland who turned to give Mokuba the thumbs up.

Chatter between the two continued on for a little bit until the brunette ended the call. He’d finally reached the bottom of Kaiba Corp. tower and it seemed that so much snow had piled up it got the door stuck. Sighing Seto forcefully made his way through the doors and outside.

The weather was immensely cold and with only his sleeveless white trench coat and white turtle neck Seto quickly found himself freezing.

So the frozen CEO began the trudge through the snow trying to get back to the mansion. To keep his mind off of the cold he thought of the roaring fire that would await him or his fuzzy royal blue blanket that was just great to cuddle up with.

A sudden extra burst of wind forced Seto to keep his eyes to the snow since it stung to keep it up any higher. A sudden ice patch made Seto’s fur covered black boots lose their traction causing the brunette to fall face forward in the snow.

The metal briefcase was sent flying and slid a good few feet away from him coming to a rest in front of a local coffee shop.

Seto grumbled and pushed himself up to his knees. A small piece of paper was stuck on the side of his face and with a growl he removed it. It was just a small fortune cookie; he was about to throw it back where it came from but not before reading what it had said.

“Snow will fall on your furry head but you’ll soon find a nice warm bed” he read out loud.

“What kind of messed up fortune cookie is his!?” he grumbled to himself. But another gust of wind coming from behind Seto literally pushed him to the ground with such force it knocked the CEO out cold*.

Meanwhile only two blocks away at the Kaiba mansion Mokuba paced around the living room nervously nibbling on his finger*.

“Seto should be home by now; I’m going to go look for him!” Mokuba finally decided heading towards the extremely huge walk in closet grabbing one of Seto’s warmer jackets and a jacket for himself. He had a feeling his brother was going to need it.

“Come on Roland!” Mokuba called Roland however had beaten the younger Kaiba to the door. And with that the two quickly left knowing that they’d have to travel on foot as quickly and as carefully as they could.

Jounouchi breathed in his hot eggnog* deeply. Though it was seasonal, with the sudden burst of cold and snow, coffee shops decided to keep the drink around. It was surprisingly popular*.

He was the only one inside the coffee shop since he was closing it for the night and decided that he’d indulge himself in the free drink that they were allowed to have.

A sudden burst of angelic white light shot past the window lasting only a few short minutes before disappearing. It took all of Jounouchi’s will power not to drop his hot confection right then and there.

“Holy crap did someone just die and go ta Heaven or what?” Jou asked out loud. He quickly set the drink on the counter and opened the store door to see what or who had caused that.

Momentarily forgetting about the store Jou went outside just a little bit and tripped over a familiar frozen metal brief case. This of course made the blonde face plant into the snow.

“Dats weird, de snow isn’t wet*” jou commented while brushing the white stuff out of his hair. He forgot about the snow when he realized just who’s what he’d tripped over.

“Holy crap, dats Kaiba’s!” Jou said while getting up. He picked up the frozen briefcase standing it up right. Looking ahead he noticed a very familiar trench coat lying there in the ground un-moving.

Running head only slipping a few times he noticed that not only was there the brunette’s trench coat but also the shirt, pants and boots but no body.

“I hope he isn’t walking around in the snow without his clothes” he mumbled out loud. With a sudden groan and mental pictures NC-17 style flashed through his mind causing the blonde to blush and shake his head.

Jounouchi had known for a while that he’d had the hots for the CEO since he’d first seen the brunette. The only thing that sent him from not telling Seto his true feelings was the candle wick aggression span the brunette seemed to have developed.

“KAIBA ya around here?” Jou called out while listening for any sort of response. Nothing was the response. Then suddenly a very small mew could be heard and the rustling under the CEO’s clothing caused Jounouchi to jump back in surprise.

A very fluffy white kitten with auburn fur covering the right eye and two back haunches a pure black color immerged. Big blue eyes stared up at Jounouchi in shock.

‘How come you’re so big mutt?’ Seto yelled but it only came out as a few mews. Seto looked down at himself and in shock sprang up into the air as if something had scared the poor kitten. Jou ‘awed’ at the cuteness of the kitten and scooped up the shivering baby animal placing him inside his jacket.

“How’d ya get inta Seto’s clothes?” Jou asked Seto in which a glare was the only response. Jou raised an eye brow but shrugged if off, he needed to get a hold of Mokuba and quick.

He had just made it back to the coffee shop when he noticed that Roland and Mokuba were coming around the corner fast.

“Whoa ya guys calm down if ya lookin’ fer Seto I found him…uh I think” Jou told them causing both of them to stop and look at him.

Their silence told Jou that he’d better take them to where he found the CEO’s clothing. But when they got up there the clothes were gone.

“What I dun get it dey were here a second ago” Jou said scratching his blonde hair lightly. Mokuba broke down a little tears sliding down his cherubic face. Seto struggled to get out of Jounouchi’s jacket to comfort his brother.

Jou however held on to the kitten wanting to make sure the white kitten had a place to sleep for the night.

“H-h-he’s n-not going to m-make it home and, and, and he- he’ll f-f-f-freeze to death and, and, it-it’s my entire fault!” Mokuba wailed more tears cascading down the younger Kaiba’s face.

Jounouchi put a comforting arm around Mokuba non-intentionally holding Mokuba like Seto would when comforting the small teen.

“Look ya brothe’ will be just fine he probably decided not ta leave de office and just crashed dere for de night” Jou reassured after a good few minutes of standing in the freezing cold the raven haired teenager finally calmed down.

And with that the two returned back to the Kaiba mansion leaving Jounouchi and Seto turned kitten in the coffee shop.

Seto was busy exploring different things with his new heightened senses while Jou with his now re-heated eggnog watched him.

There was something odd about the whole thing but Jou shrugged off that feeling he’d probably just imagined that it was Seto’s clothing and brief case he’d stumbled over. And the light was probably a passing car that he saw out of the corner of his eyes.

‘Yeah dat makes sense’ Jou thought to himself laughing lightly whenever Seto would freak out whenever he’d accidentally bump into a chair or knock over the broom.

Seto finally came in front of Jou looking up at him with the exact same eyes Seto would. Jou once again had to brush off that feeling.

“So eh what should I call ya?” Jounouchi asked while picking up Seto who attempted to bite Jou’s thumb. He did, the result was the tickling sensation.

“Playful aren’t ya? Let’s see…I’ll call ya Mabs” Seto looked at Jou as if he’d gone crazy but it didn’t really appear so since cat facial features and human facial features were a lot different.

“What ya don’t like Maple and Brown Sugar?” Seto growled in response. Jou held his unoccupied hand up in defense.

“Okay, okay so I won’t call ya dat how about… uh… Snickers*?” Seto growled again.

‘Do I look like a candy bar to you mutt!?’ of course it only came out as a few meager hisses.

“Ah kitty got some bite… um… how ‘bout KC* since I did find ya in Kaiba’s clothes after all” Seto this time had not rejections not exactly caring all of a sudden.

He was extremely tired and with a huge yawn Seto settled down in Jounouchi’s lap that was surprisingly extremely warm. Suddenly Seto felt a large warm tan hand extend from his head down to his tail as he was petted. Strangely it felt nice and he began to purr loudly not exactly knowing how he was doing it.

Seto didn’t even budge as Jounouchi placed him on his shoulder and began to clean up the store and shut everything off. In fact he didn’t even wake up until he was gently set down on a bed.

“I’m gonna have ta get ya some food tomorrow” Jou told him looking over at the now awake kitten who was once again moving about the bed exploring different things while stretching and yawning every once and a while.

Seto knew that if he was going to be with Jounouchi a good while until he was his human self again that he’d need to get the lay out of his place.

To Seto the place held a very strong odor of Jounouchi, looking around he mentally slapped himself. It was because they were in Jounouchi’s room which was surprisingly neat compared to say Jounouchi’s hand writing.

Seto hopped off the bed carefully noting that now, he had a lot more grace and that when he fell he’d at least land on his feet.

He quickly made his way towards the door planning on checking the entire place out. Jounouchi however beat him to the door closing it before Seto could get out.

“Sorry little guy, don’t want ya runnin’ around wakin’ everyone up at dis hour” Jounouchi said quietly while taking off his work clothes stopping when he reached his boxers. Seto watched with a smirk he'd been waiting for a while to see the blonde without any clothing. It was sad in a way the feelings were the same but they just couldn't get along with one another.

Jou quickly hopped into bed and pulled the blankets around him, making a mental note to get the heater out of his closet tomorrow. Seto for once agreeing climbed his way onto the bed making sure to get under the covers and as close to Jounouchi’s body heat as possible before curling up into a little ball falling strait asleep.
