Summary: It is Seto’s Birthday and Jou has something to say to him. (Completed)
The tall brunette walk into the school hoping this day would end ‘The sooner the better.’ He thought. Scowling at what happened earlier that morning his brother had come flying into his room jumping on the bed.
FLASHBACK
“Happy Birthday Seto.” He looks up and scowls “Mokuba go away you know how I feel about today.” Seto states in no uncertain terms. “But Seto it’s your birthday, can’t you be happy at least one day out of the year?” Seto looks at his brother. The problem was on every special occasion Mokuba wanted him to be happy. It just wasn’t one day out of the year.
“Okay that’s enough of this nonsense it’s time to get ready for school.” He pushes Mokuba off the bed and out of the room so he can get ready.
END FLASHBACK
As Seto walks up to his locker he notices a blonde head of hair. ‘Just what I need. The mutt bothering me today of all days.’ As Seto walks up in back of him. Jou doesn’t notice him at first and Seto realizes this and sees him slip something into his locker. Seto frowns at his actions. “What are you doing mutt.” At the sound of Seto’s voice Jou jerks around bumping into him. Looking like the cat that swallowed the canary he knew he got caught. Smiling sweetly he looks at Kaiba and says “Nothing.” Seto at this grabs Jou by the collar and brings him to his face close enough to kiss. “I know better mutt. Shall we see what you put in my locker?” Still holding on to him Seto turns to his locker and opens it. Seto picks up the envelope and looks at it. By the shape of it he knew exactly what it was.
Turning on Jou Seto smirks “If this is what I think this is you’re in trouble.” Jou knew exactly what it was. Seto now pinning Jou to the lockers opens up the envelope and scowls. Then to the amazement of Jou and anyone else that might have been there but the hall was empty. He gave the most beautiful smile that Jou had ever seen.
Letting go he turns to him and says one thing. “Thank-you no one has given me such a lovely gift.” Before he turns and walks away he gives Jou a passionate kiss and tells him “Meet me after school I want to thank you properly.” With this said Seto walks to class looking forward to claiming his puppy. It was the best birthday gift he had ever gotten. He had finally gotten the puppy he wanted.
The gift that Jou had given to him was a card with his Blue Eyes White Dragon on it with a poem written inside.
Eyes so blue cold and piercing
A heart of stone solid and hard
A passion that burns through the soul
Hiding, needing, wanting that simple touch
Of someone who cares.
The eyes so blue turn warm and caring
The heart of stone disappears with the dawning of love
