Summary: (This is a side story to ‘Night of the Vampires.’) On Halloween Night Vampires crash a Halloween party. (Completed)

As night fell, life in the old mansion awoke as screams permeated the stillness of the shadows; it was clear that the vampires were feeding, draining the tasteful elixir from their victims that held life so firmly in their grips, giving up one life for another.
It had been a full year since Seto and the others had taken their mates. Earlier that week, Honda, one of the Hunter Vampires, had came to his sire, Yami, and told him about a huge Halloween party that was suppose to take place at the high school. Yami had smiled, baring his fangs, knowing that they would all easily gain entrance into the party. Since it was a costume party, they wouldn’t even have to dress up; they could go as they were.
Yami let Seto know before gathering everyone else and telling them about the party. However, the mates were concerned about this. “Seto, I don't like this. You do realize that the party is at our old school, right?”
Seto looked at Jou and smirked. “Don’t worry about it, Pup. This will be your chance to prove to us how well you can hunt, and besides, the school will be in the shadows. The ones we don’t take there, we can bring back here.” Jou and the other mates smiled at the tall brunette, showing off their fangs.
'This party was going to be fun...' Jou always had a hard time in school and he knew that this was going to make him part of the family permanently. At that thought, all he wanted to do was laugh; he and the others hadn't really felt like they belonged, even after they had become vampires themselves. “Let’s go hunting then.” Bakura said with a cruel grin on his face.

Domino High School had been decked out in the traditional decorations for the holiday. Orange and black streamers were hung throughout the hallways with cut out pictures of black cats, witches, ghosts and vampires plastered all over. Seto looked at these and hissed, “Honda, get rid of them.”
He continued on through the school, commanding the shadows to envelope the building so no one would escape. Yugi looked worried, not understanding why Seto was upset. “Yami, why is Seto upset, they're only decorations.”
Yami looked at his mate, “They are an insult to us. They mock who we are. Mortals would prefer to see us gone. They do not understand us.” Yugi frowned, thinking about this for a minute; he still did not understand fully. However, the one thing he did understand was that he needed blood to survive and mortals gave that to him.
As they got closer to the party, the shadows had played their part and had totally enveloped the building, making sure no one would be able to leave. “When we go in, spread out like you belong here, pull people off to the side and feed,” Seto said with a sadistic laugh.
As they entered the room, the first thing they noticed the number of people there. Seto turned to his companions. “Mark some, the rest die tonight.”
As they spread out, Yugi and Jou noticed some people they recognized. Jou looked at Yugi, asking, “Are you ready to do this?”
Yugi grinned, looking up at him. “Yes, I’m ready. I’m so hungry.” Jou laughed, agreeing. “Me too, Seto said we would eat here.” While saying this, the blond looked for an easy target. He saw one standing alone by the far wall. Jou walked over to him and begun a conversation.
“Nice party, huh? You here with anyone?” He asked casually. The boy looked no older than sixteen; 'He'd be a rather tasteful meal.' Thought Jou. The student, thinking that he recognized the blond, asked, “Do I know you?”
Jou looked at him and smiled, “Maybe? Why do you ask?” On the other side of the room, Seto watched his mate, making sure he didn’t need any assistance. He knew that Jou and the others were nervous about coming here tonight. Smirking, Seto continued watching as Jou slowly drew closer to the teen.
“I know who you are; you’re Jounouchi Katsuya, you and your family disappeared a year ago. Where did you guys go?” Jou was beginning to feel nervous. ‘I can do this,’ he thought to himself.
Jou looked at him and smiled “It’s a long story; let's go over here and we can talk about it.” The teen agreed; wanting to know what happened.
Walking, they moved until they were hidden behind a display of what looked like a haunted house, and, before the teen knew what had happened, Jou attacked him and sank his fangs into his neck, drinking and sating his hunger. As he finished he felt someone behind him.
He dropped the teen, turning to attack only to find his lover smiling at him. “You did well, Jou.” Smiling, Seto pulled him into a kiss, ravishing his mouth and lapping up the blood that had dripped out of Jou's mouth and onto his chin.
Each of the vampires circled the room, pulling victims into secluded areas until they were sated. Soon, the vampires stopped feeding, their hunger having been satisfied. They gathered together in the empty hallway and summoned the shadows to take the rest. As the shadows entered the room, the students fell one by one, and Seto and the others revealed who they were. When the teens realized real Vampires were there, they started to scream and tried to escape.
It was to no avail.
The shadows reached out and paralyzed them so that they couldn’t move. The young mates stood off to the side, watching when a young girl no older than fourteen came up to them, having not realized they too were Vampires.
“Please, help me,” she begged. Malik grinned, sadistically. “Okay, we will help you, won’t we guys?” The other three looked at him and smiled. “Sure, we'll help you,” Ryou said. “Come with us hurry.”
She followed them out into the hallway, only to find two other boys. Jou looked at them, smiling. “Mokuba, she asked for our help. Can you give it too her?” Mokuba laughed, knowing what Jou meant. They took her to the door of the school where she found herself thrown into the arms of a very strong Vampire. She screamed before promptly passing out. Bakura laughed, “Too bad I’ve already fed, and the fear coming off of her is intoxicating.” Mokuba grinned, laughing when he heard this.
Soon the sun had risen over the horizon and the police begun their investigation on the disappearance of all those who had attended the Halloween party the night before. At last count, the number had risen to over a hundred students.
At the old mansion, the new arrivals didn't know what their fate was going to be but they had a good idea. One of the other people who had been there awhile told them and word spread fast. They would be used for entertainment by the Vampires as well as food.
Soon, the Vampires entered the room at sunset, looking forward to feeding. “Honda, Jou has requested her as his first feeding for the night.” The girl was dragged out of the cell and thrown into Jou’s arms where he sank his fangs into her neck, enjoying the tasty liquid that kept him alive.
