Summary: After ten years someone comes home looking for love.
Chapter 1
As the plane came in for a landing at Domino International Airport a young man sat and stared out the window of the plane. It had been ten years since he had left home. Left everything behind, He didn’t really have family that lived in Domino anymore and his friends had moved on to do other things. He had not informed anyone he was coming back home possibly to stay if things worked out like he hoped they would.
The only person he had any real contact with kept him informed of what was going on. It was a few months ago that he found out the one person he had a crush on since High School also had a major crush on him, and was upset that he had left before he could reveal his feelings.
Sworn to secrecy the other person was told not to say anything, but he had gotten tired of it and had told him how the other person had felt. He was shocked, that is when he had told him about his own feelings. He disembarked from the plane and went through customs retrieving his luggage and a very special package that he had wrapped with care so it would not get damaged. As he caught a cab to the hotel he was staying at, he smiled and knew his crush would be surprised.
He sat and watched the business news on television and looking at the package decided to have it delivered. It was a painting he had done of his secret crush with his dragon. The other part of his gift would be delivered the next day after he had found out how the recipient liked his gift.
That night he made a phone call to the one person who would know how he had reacted “Hi it’s me. How did he like the gift?”
Laughing came from the other end of the phone “You should have seen his face it was priceless. He tried to find out where it came from but the delivery company you sent it through wouldn’t tell him. It’s seems they have this policy of keeping the senders name private. Oh he was furious. It didn’t matter who he was they wasn’t going to tell him.” The other person on the phone said.
“Then I’m sure he will like my next present as well.” He laughed.
“What are you up too?” The other person asked.
He answered him “You will find out in two days. Tomorrow is the next gift and an invitation, then the following day the final gift. Well I have to go, I’m tired and need some sleep but before I go what did he do with the painting anyway?” He asked
“You’re not going to believe this but he hung it in his room.” Came the reply.
All the man could do was smile. “I’ll talk to you tomorrow, Good Night.”
“Good Night” the other person said.
As he hung up the phone he walked over to look at the Domino skyline and thought to himself ‘It’s good to be home.’ The next morning he ordered breakfast and had the package delivered. It was a book of poetry and sketches he had done when he left Domino all those years ago. Inside the book was the invitation to meet him at the fanciest place in Domino. It was a fairly new restaurant that was a cross between a Sushi Bar and a restaurant called the ‘S’. He smiled at this, when he was in High School to even to be able to go into a place like this was out of his league.
Later that day his cell phone rang and he looked at the caller I.D. and knew who it was from and what the call was about. “Hello” he said.
The voice on the other end sounded exited “Okay I know you are in town. Why didn’t you let someone know you where coming?”
The man sighed “I wanted it to be a surprise, okay.”
He heard a sigh on the other end “Fine. Where are you staying at?” He reluctantly told him where he was at. “I’m at the Domino Plaza Hotel room 2001.” He didn’t want anyone to know he was there. “Please I don’t want anyone to know okay, at least not yet.”
The voice on the other end sighed “Okay but you owe me and I want to see you okay.”
The young man thought for a second “Fine just don’t let anyone see you okay?” as he hung up the phone he had wanted to see him first, his crush, his love but that wasn’t going to happen.
It was less than an hour later that a knock came at the door to the hotel suite. As he opened it he looked at the person on the other side of the door. He hadn’t changed much. His black hair had gotten longer and he had grown some. “Come in its good to see you.”
Mokuba came in and looked at him “It’s good to see you too. Do you know what you are doing to him? When he received that book and invitation it was all he could do but to storm out of the house and find out who sent them. Lucky for you an emergency came up and he couldn’t check the restaurant on who made the reservations.”
The blond laughed “A lot of good it would have done him it is in his name with the meal preordered and paid for.”
Mokuba shook his head and laughed. “You are incredible you thought of everything didn’t you?”
The blonde laughed “I tried. What did he think of the book?”
Mokuba just shook his head “He looked at it and got this sad expression on his face and whispered your name. What he did with the book I don’t know I haven’t seen it since he got it.”
At that moment a cell phone rang “Must be yours I’ve turned mine off.”
Mokuba answered it “Hello”
The blonde heard screaming on the other end “You’re not going to believe this but the reservation is in my name and the meal has been paid for.”
Mokuba smirked “Really how interesting. Did they say who called it in?”
On the other end was a frustrated voice “All they said was that is was a male voice and it was put on a temporary credit card. I can’t even trace it because they won’t give me the number.”
Mokuba sounded angry “Then I guess you will have to go and find out what is going on huh.” Mokuba said.
On the other end “Yes but I don’t have to like it. Where are you anyway?” He asked.
“I am with a friend and we are going out to dinner so I will be home late.” As Mokuba hung up after saying good-bye he looked at the blonde. “Where would you like to eat?”
The blonde thought about all the places he used to eat at but he was afraid he would run into someone he knew and he didn’t want anyone to know he was back, at least not yet. “I’ve been ordering in.”
Mokuba nodded “That’s fine I know you don’t want anyone to know you are here just yet.” They ordered room service and caught up on old times. Afterwards Mokuba had to get home “I really enjoyed myself tonight and he is going to be so surprised.”
He said. “I hope so, and I hope he won’t be to mad.”
Mokuba shook his head “If he is and starts problems I’ll kick his rear end clean across Domino.” Mokuba laughed when he said this and left.
‘I hope you are right. I want this to be perfect.’ Jounochi Katsuya walked over to the window and looked out. Seeing the one place he knew his secret crush worked at he sighed ‘Seto I hope you will be happy to see me. I have been lonely these pass ten years. I have missed you. You would be surprised I read all the business magazines and newspapers just so I can keep up with what you are doing. I even watch the business news when I know you are going to be on just to see your face and hear your voice. I no longer have that crush, I love you Seto Kaiba.’ At this he turned and got ready for bed.
