Chapter 1 The Taking Part I
Seto and Jounochi
As the darkness fell over the young man he felt an urgency to hurry to where he was going. He had a strange feeling he was being watched. This had not been the first time either. Over the pass few weeks he had the strangest feeling he was being followed. As he came upon his destination he hurried inside to the comfort and safety of his friends,
Jounochi Katsuya hurried into the game shop relieved that he was among friends. Yugi looked up seeing his friend “Hi Jou is everything ok?”
Jou looked at his friend and not wanting to worry him gave him a lopsided grin “Yeah everything is fine. So what do you want to do tonight?” He asked looking warily outside as he thought he saw something but wasn’t sure.
Yugi sensing something wrong looked at his friend and asked “Are you sure nothing is wrong? You sure are jumpy tonight.” Jou looked at his friend and smiled “Yeah I’m sure.” Yugi sighed “Good I thought about watching a movie.” Jou laughed “Sounds great.”
Meanwhile outside in the shadows a pair of ice cold blue eyes stared at the building that the person he had been following over the last few weeks entered. “You will be mine soon enough. I have marked you once and the next time we meet you will be mine and mine alone.” As the creature melded into the night he knew he would have to eat soon.
It was getting late and Jou felt nervous about walking home by himself. He knew this was foolish but he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was going to happen and happen soon. “Jou are you alright?” At the sound of his friend’s voice Jou turned and smiled “Sure why do you ask?” Jou could hear the nervous tone in his voice and he hoped his friend didn’t.
As he left Jou waved to his friend “I’ll see you tomorrow at school.” Yugi waved “Okay see you tomorrow.” As Jou left he felt it again, like someone was watching him, following him.
The streets seemed strangely deserted and the feeling of being watched came back.
Jou decided to take a short cut home by cutting through the park. Little did he know that fate was going to play their hand that night. His destiny was going to change. For better or for worse he was about to find out.
“Hello Jounochi we meet again.”
Jou looked up startled and saw the most gorgeous man he had ever seen. He had the deepest blue eyes, his hair in the moonlight look like the soft brown colors of an animal’s fur. He wore tight leather pants that left nothing to the imagination, and his light blue silk shirt was slightly open at the top revealing his neckline and the fact that his chest was well defined. Jou swallowed trying to keep his sudden arousal down. He did not understand how this stranger could have this effect on him. “Do I know you?”
The man smirked at the question “Yes we met a few nights ago. You assisted me in finding something I had lost.”
Jou smiled “I’m sorry I just don’t remember.” Jou was starting to get nervous as he hadn’t noticed the man get closer to him. “I don’t mean to be rude but could you tell me your name? It seems I forgot it.”
The man smirked ‘Of course you forgot it because I didn’t give it.’ The man needed to make Jou his before the night was out. All the others had found their mates a week ago and would be claiming them before midnight. “Seto, my name is Seto.” Jou looked at him with a dazed look “Seto.” Seto knew he couldn’t take him by force it had to be consensual.
Seto reached up with his long delicate fingers and traced Jou’s face “So beautiful.” Jou blushed at the statement and turned s his face away in embarrassment.
Seto laughed at Jou’s action. “Ever since you helped me I have been thinking about you.” He watches Jou as he moves closer and gently begins to rub his hand along Jou’s back. Seto smirked as Jou didn’t pull away from him.
Jou looked up at Seto and smiled “You have been thinking about me, why we have just met?” Jou was starting to become nervous at the closeness of Seto’s touch.
Seto smiled reassuring at Jou “You are so tantalizing and beautiful I just couldn’t stop thinking about you.” All of Jou’s instincts told him to get out of there but for some reason he couldn’t move, all he could do was watch as Seto’s hand returned to his face to caress it.
Seto smirked; he knew that Jou was almost his. Jou stood there mesmerized; Seto leaned down and kissed him biting down hard enough on his lip to draw blood. Jou yelped when he did this. Seto proceeded to suck and lick at the blood he had drawn. Jou tried to move away but found that Seto held him in a firm embrace. Jou moaned into the kiss, he had never felt anything like this before. He had always thought he was straight. He opened his mouth letting Seto explore the warm moist cavern. Exploring and fighting each others tongue looking for dominance. Seto broke the kiss knowing that Jou needed to breathe. He moved to Jou’s neck knowing that he would soon be his. He slowly bit down into the soft flesh only taking enough blood to sate himself until later that night.
At the penetration of the teeth on Jou’s neck he inhaled trying to break contact with the action. Suddenly Jou’s world went black. Seto looked down at the limp body and smirked “Mine now forever and eternity.” He carried Jou’s body through the shadows to his home.
