A/N: Haven’t written any fanfics in a LONG time so excuse me if I am a little out of touch now with that out here we go

Life is always full of unexpected turn of events, especially in the lives of Seto Kaiba and Ishizu Ishtar because for them their lives never seem to be steady enough for a brief moment of peace.
“With the pharaoh gone what do Marik, Odion and I do now?” thought Isis to herself as she starred into the vast water as her boat was sailing down the Nile River. It had been a week since the ceremonial duel had occurred with Yugi as the winner and Atemu now in the spirit world she felt that her life had lost purpose, sure she had the museums in Japan and Egypt, but there was something missing, she had everything in her mind a family, a steady job, beauty, brains, but she felt something missing that would truly complete her.

Domino Japan
“Bless you,” said Mokuba as his older brother sneezed “thank you Mokuba,” replied Kaiba as he then went back to typing up his financial report of his company’s earnings in the past week. “Come on bro let’s go out and do something fun.” Said Mokuba as he was sitting in his office watching TV apparently bored out of his mind “Don’t you have homework?” asked Kaiba “Nope it’s summer now Seto (A/N: I am following the U.S curriculum since it will fit in with my story as I go on).” Responded Mokuba with a huge smile, Kaiba just scuffed it off and continued typing, in all reality though his mind had drifted off else where back to Egypt where he saw his past as the High priest Seth and the duel between Yugi and Atemu and where his life was going now. He had directed the building of Duel Academy on some god-forsaken island and the Kaiba Corp Business was on top of the world with gaming and it’s other legal activities, but he felt so drawn away from it all despite these achievements. “What’s bothering you Seto?” Asked Mokuba, Kaiba instantly snapped back into reality and looked at his brother “It’s nothing Mokuba, tell you what how about we get out of here and go around Domino?” Mokuba instantly jumped up with excitement, it was rare that Seto ever wanted to go out let alone in public so he was going to milk it for all it’s worth. “Let’s go to the Carnival,” said Mokuba as he soon dragged Kaiba out of the door.
The walk to the carnival was horrible people lining the streets kids running around all over and worst of all the whole Yugi gang was there “Why do I get myself into these things?” questioned Kaiba to himself as Mokuba soon joined up with them and they went off else where. Kaiba soon found himself wandering the streets alone enjoying the nightlife on Domino, for some reason though he just walked around not knowing where he was going, but just the fact that he was going somewhere. This somewhere eventually left him in front of the Domino Museum, Kaiba just stood there in front of the Museum looking at it as if he was waiting for someone “Keh there’s no one here waiting for you Seto.” He thought to himself as he then walked up the steps into the Museum, which was surprisingly open. He walked down the steps into the lower levels of the Museum absorbing in all the details he didn’t before the artifacts, the artwork and the details of the place he never saw before, however though his mind was lost to when he first stepped into the museum that long time ago…
(Flash back)
“Seto Kaiba I presume.” Spoke Ishizu as she welcomed him into her museum.
(End flash back)
He had remembered that Egyptian beauty with the body of a goddess, the attitude to match his own and the blue eyes that he almost lost himself in if it wasn’t for his brain kicking back in to remind him. From the Museum, to the battle city finals, to Egypt he had saw her and slowly but surely fell under her spell “What am I thinking about?” he asked himself as he soon reached the stone table of his past life and Yugi’s. He touched the glass casing and looked at it remembering the visions he had of his past life, the girl Kisara, Zorc the dark one, his duties to the Pharaoh. He just sighed and left the museum “I really need a vacation” he said as he left the museum as it closed down for the night.

Back to Egypt

“You okay sis?” asked Marik as he noticed his sister was starring up into the stars again “Oh Marik I didn’t see you come outside” she said, the two were soon joined by their adopted brother Odion “It’s strange isn’t it?” he asked them both “we’re now free to do whatever we want, but we have performed our duties for so long it feels like we can no longer live doing something else.” Ishizu then turned to look at Odion who was right he felt the same thing she is feeling “What do you suggest we do now?” she asked softly “We all need to go and pursue our own destines now, we just need to find them first.” Chuckled Odion as he soon went back to the down stairs of the ship “I always liked his advice” said Marik as he soon went back down stairs to check out this Egyptian girl he saw before. Ishizu just returned back to star gazing “Some times I wish the Millennium necklace was still with me I want to see the future and what it has in store for me” she thought to herself
(Quick flash back)
“I make my own destiny.”
(End flash back)
She smiled and “remember the man who said that, what a mysterious man he is,” she said to herself as she sighed and felt the cool breeze of the Nile brush past her “maybe one day we will meet again Seto Kaiba.” She soon realized what she had said and quickly tried to recover “Seto Kaiba!?” she thought to herself, she soon eased back into her thoughts and remembered the details about him, his rudeness, the cold stare and the body to match the personality that made her slightly weak in the knees, but something she’d never admit to anyone. “Maybe one day Seto.” She said to herself one last time as she went downstairs to her quarters to sleep.
