just to be human
a near life of commanding armies
squashing my foe
as if I where a god
has brought me to belief I am as such
I'll do it just to be human once again
maybe I'm just scared
to face everything I am and have to be
but I'll do it just to stain my perfect world
I'll slash just to see that these wrists do bleed
to see that what runs under the skin
is more than just ice
but what makes us human
and gives us the ability to love
it feels like I lost that ability long ago...
sad isn't it?
what immortality can do to a vibrant soul
one that knows not what it searches for
