10 Year Reunions

This my story of how I foolishly ran from everything and my everything. I didn’t even stop to thing

Who really knows maybe he was cheating on me. I guess I really never thought it through. Enough of

ifs and maybes. This my story, and his. A story of love, betrayal, and most of all regret.

~after graduation in the bathroom~

“ Yugi I have to tell him.” “You know you can’t it would brake his heart.” Joey was standing in the

stall. Almost in tears. ’This is terrible how could he do this to me!’ He couldn’t take it. “But Yugi I love

him.” ’If you really loved me you wouldn’t have done this to me.’

Yugi and Seto walked out of the bathroom. “You know you can’t tell him.” “I know.” “Good we both

know how much he loves surprise parties.” To bad Joey didn’t hear this.

‘God I have to get out of here.’ Joey walked out to his car it was a 2003 2 door electric blue neon and

had been a one year anniversary and 16 birth day gift. Joey looked at the car the color remind him of

Seto’s eyes when he got excited which with Joey that happened a lot.

“ that is that I’m leaving.” ’but maybe I should tell him. But I don’t think I can stand to see him.’

Joey got in the car and called Seto and left a message that said ’I know what your doing with Yugi I

though you loved me but I guess that was just a lie and I am going on a trip. I don’t know when I’ll

be back or if I’ll ever come back can you come pick up the car and I loved you even though the

feeling were obviously not returned.’ Joey drove and drove until he got to the air port. “One ticket to

America.” “which state and what city?” “Um, um New York, New York.” “ ok but you’ll have to wait a few

hours.” “ What a great birthday and anniversary present. Then Joey though about how Joey and Seto

had first hooked up it would be 3 years tomorrow. And when Joey would finally turn 18.

~flashback~

“Happy Birthday, Joey!”

Everyone stared to yell in his face. Joey had just walked through the door of his apartment and he

was so tired he had almost got ran over on the way home after working triple shifts at the café. But as

soon as he had got home he had got the shit scared out of him by people screaming in his

face. ’Happy birthday is it my birthday.’ “Um guys what are you doing.” It’s your birthday silly. Don’t

tell me you forgot?” “I guess I did.” “Typical stupid mutt doesn’t even know when his birthday is.”

Joey jumped a little at the voice as he slowly turned around afraid of what he might see or who he

might see. “Kaiba what are you doing here?” not that he really minded in fact he was ecstatic he was

here. “Mokuba made me come. He said I needed to get out more.” “You do, and I’m honored that

you came.” the words spilled out before he could stop them. Everyone just stared at him. “Okay

thanks for inviting me.” Kaiba mumbled under his breath. Joey and Kaiba just looked at each other.

Then they broke there gaze and both blushed. Joey was stunned the great Seto kaiba [and his secret

love interest.] had just blushed because of him.

‘Its official I love him,’ they both thought at the same time as they looked at each other again. “Um

what are you guys doing?” Tea’ squeaked out. “Lets cut the cake.” “Good idea Yug.” Joey gave him a

thankful look. Yugi was the only one who knew that Joey liked Kaiba. Everyone turned to look at where

the cake had once been and Malik, Marik, and Bakura were all eating what was left. “Guys you were

suppose to wait!” “sorry couldn’t resisted Tea’.” Malik mumbled “I’m not .” “ Bakura.” “Sorry ryou but

I’m not.” You were suppose to wait.” Tea’ yelled once again. “Geese I said I was sorry get off my

back.” Malik mumbled that last part. “What did you say?” Tea’ screamed.
