Chapter One
Malik hummed softly as he sat up on a high tree branch as he watched the sun setting. He was dressed in a one shouldered ice blue tunic, his hair in loose pigtails. Malik wore pearl bracelets wrapped around his wrists and one pearl necklace was wound tightly around his neck. His lavender eyes were outlined in red eyeshadow. Malik gave his lavender wings a flicker as he got ready to take off for home. As Malik flew around a corner he screamed as he flew into a spider web and the spider boy along with it. Malik's face was pressed against a broad bare chest and his little wings were stuck in the web. Oh Malik was in trouble now, he was going to be eaten by the spider boy. As Malik looked up he saw cold brown eyes looking down at him from under white bangs, "He..hello." said the fairy boy in a small voice as he noticed the other boys lips were covered in blood. Looking the spider boy over quickly Malik saw that he only wore a pair of tight fitting ripped jeans and lots of gold jewelry. The crimson covered lips turned up in a smirk, "Hello there," said a husky voice, "And what exactly would we have here?" Long, clawed fingers gripped Malik's tanned shoulder's before leaning forward to look at Malk's back. The spider boy's grin widened when he saw the miniature violet colored wings, "Ah, a fairy. How very lucky for me that you would come flying into my web." The white haired beings eyes ran over Malik before saying "I haven't had a fairy in ages."
Malik's eyes became wide and he struggled to get free "Please no! I don't want to be eaten!" The spider boy laughed as Malik flared about, "You are very foolish fairy boy. Don't you know that struggling will only draw you deeper into my web?" Malik stopped and stared up at the barely dressed boy "I forgot." The spider released a bark laugh, "So it would seem wouldn't it." his eyes scanned Malik's body once more, "Would you like some help out little one?" Lavender eyes widened, "You aren't going to eat me then?" asked Malik to the handsome spider being "No. You are far to pretty to be eaten. I am Bakura by the way. What is your name?" Malik gaped as Bakura kneeled next to him and drawled a claw lightly along his neck, "I..I am Malik and I am not pretty at all." Bakura raised a eyebrow at the blond, "You don't think so?"
Bakura pulled Malik forward so he was resting against him as he cut at the strings that were holding Malik immobile, "Are you not going to answer me boy?" said the husky voice in his ear. Malik's cheeks were painted a lovely shade of pink as he gazed at the pale upper body he was pressed against, "Sorry. No. I do not think I am pretty in the least." "You really are a foolish fairy for thinking such a thing." The blond gasped and clenched his fist together as a shiver ran up and down his spine when Bakura touched softly at his wings. Bakura stood up easily on his web and wiped the blood from his lips. Turning Bakura kicked the carcase of a drained fly off, "Come on fairy boy. I'll take you to the river and help get that webbing off you." Bakura grinned at Malik from over his bare shoulder and as the wing blew Bakura's hair Malik was surprised to a very large tattoo of a spider covering Bakura's back. When Malik tried to stand he slipped and stumbled off the back of the web and started plummeting towards the ground. As Malik tried to get his wings to work he screamed when they wouldn't move. The webbing was holding them together. Bakura moved quickly to catch the falling beauty in his arms "You really should be more careful baka. You ok?" Malik sat up slightly in Bakura's arms to wrap his own arms around the spiders shoulders, afraid of falling.
Malik stared at Bakura in curiosity as he carried him through the wood, walking on pieces of web that seemed to magically appear from under his bare feet, "How is it that you can do that?" Bakura chuckled "It's a spider thing." said the spider boy as he jumped from string to string. A long thread of silver spun down to the ground and Malik screamed as Bakura slid one footed down it before landing gracefully in the grass. Bakura laughed at the horrified look on Malik' s face, "You amuse me fairy boy. I am glad I didn't kill you after all." "Are you sure your not trying to kill me from fright?" asked Malik as he was placed on the ground by the waters edge. Malik stared into the water for a while, watching as Bakura and his own reflection rippled against the surface. Malik's eyes widened and he turned quickly as Bakura removed the pants he was wearing "What are you doing?" He heard Bakura's chuckle and squeaked as he was yanked back against Bakura's now bare form "Getting naked. As you will be doing in a moment."
Malik yelled again as Bakura started stripping him of his clothes, "S..stop it!" "You can't bathe with your clothes on boy now off with them." Within a few seconds Malik stood blushing and naked in front of Bakura, "This is so embarrassing." Malik's blush deepened when there was a soft pat on his rear and a whisper in his ear "You may be embarrassed little fairy but I am quite enjoying the view." Malik turned quickly to glare at the taller being, "Hentai!" Grinning wickedly Bakura stepped back into the water with his hands raised "I don't deny it. I am a spider after all." Still glaring slightly Malik followed Bakura "That doesn't give you any more right." Bakura didn't say anything he simply smirked and watched Malik with a intense gaze. Bakura was fiddling with a slimy green like substance that was coming from a small spiky like plant, "What is that?" asked Malik, peering over Bakura's shoulder, "Its allo. It will help remove the webbing off your wings." Bakura turned back around to look at Malik's wings with a pierced raised brow " Speaking of which. Why is it that your wings are so small? All the fairy's I have seen didn't have wings like that." Malik blushed, "We aren't sure. Why? Are you going to make fun of them to?" he asked, his eyes starting to water up as he remembered how he was teased and ridiculed at school. Noticing the tanned beauty was about to cry Bakura pulled him into a small embrace "I think they are beautiful. Just like you." Still blushing Malik rubbed his face against Bakura's chest, enjoying the comfort he found in the taller boys strong arms.
Malik stayed still as Bakura spread allo over his wings, the way the substance moved over them made him cringe, "I'll be done in a few minutes." "A..all right. Thank you for helping me Bakura." Bakura chuckled, "It isn't often that I do this kind of thing. I am usually only nice to my family members. Even then they'll be so lucky." "So I was right when thinking most spider's are uncaring?" Malik looked over his shoulder as he asked and saw Bakura grinning darkly, "You are most defiantly correct little fairy." Malik turned fully to face Bakura, "Why is that?" Bakura repeated words he had spoken earlier, "It's a spider thing. There is no real reason for it." Bakura reached behind himself to unfasten the golden chain of his opal spider shaped necklace, "I would like you to wear this." said Bakura calmly as he held it up for the blond to see. Malik's eyes sparkled "It's beautiful. But why are you giving it to me? We have only just met." Malik shivered as Bakura fastened the lovely piece of jewelry around his neck, "It will keep you safe from other spider's while I am not about." Malik's eyebrow raised in suspicion "And why do you wish to keep me safe?" Bakura swooped down and kissed Malik with a grin, this only added to Malik's suspicion.
Malik pulled away with red cheeks, "That doesn't answer anything." said Malik as he stared at the ground. Bakura sniggered and tilted Malik's head up with his index finger "You know if I wanted to I could still eat you now." Malik's eyes widened and he quickly took a step back only to be pulled back to Bakura "I was kidding. Damn. Don't take everything I say so seriously." Bakura stared into shaking lavender eyes, "Would you like to meet me here tomorrow? I would like to learn more about you Malik." The blond gave a giddy smile, "I would like that. I will be busy almost all day though." "We could meet near sundown." said Bakura and Malik's smile widened, "That sounds good. I better go now though." With a small flap of his wings Malik was up in the air, "I'll see you tomorrow Bakura!" yelled the fairy boy with a wave before flying off. Bakura's grin turned wicked as he caught a glimpse up the small tunic. Malik was far to lovely for his own good and if he wasn't more careful he was going to have his innocence removed by force. Bakura couldn't let that happen. After all, he wanted that for himself.
There was a giggle from above and Bakura looked up to see his younger brother sitting above him, "Ryou, what are you doing here?" Ryou hung upside down on the branch he was sitting on, "Mother wishes to speak to you Baku-kun. And might I ask what you were doing helping out a fairy? IF my memory serves correct you usually eat them." Bakura held up a finger, "Correction little brother, I only eat the ugly ones." Ryou shook his head a flipped down to where Bakura stood, "Whatever. Lets go home." "As you wish brother dear."
