Arms Wide Open
A/N. This is based on the idea that Joey and Seto are married and having a kid together. I did change one part in the story and its from Seto’s POV. I hope you all like it, so on with the story.

Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is gonna change
I close my eyes and begin to pray
Then tears of joy run down my face
Seto and Joey where in the doctor’s office. They had implanted a womb inside Joey and after some DNA fussing they implanted an embryo into it. It was the first time something like this had ever happened and Joey was the first male to carry a child. “It seems to have worked. Joey, you're pregnant.”
Seto sat in the chair next to Joey in shock. He then smiled as he looked over at Joey. “We're going to be parents.” He heard Joey say with a smile on his face.
Later that night it finally clicked what he was told. Seto closed his eyes as a tear started to fall and he smiled. “Can’t wait.” He said softly as he rolled over, pulled Joey close and laid his hand where their baby was.

Joey was now five months pregnant and they were seeing their baby for the first time. “Everything looks good. Now if you want we can find out what sex your baby is?” Seto left it up to Joey and he said he would rather not know. Seto just started smiling and thinking of all the stuff he would be teaching their child. ‘You’ll want for nothing small one.’ Seto thought to himself.

Seto was racing down the road. He was at Kaiba Corp when he got ‘The Call.’ Right now he was trying to get there in time. He wanted to be next to Joey when he had the baby, but it looked like he wouldn’t make it.
When he got there he was told to wait and the doctor would be with him soon. Seto had called of their friends and was sitting in the waiting room thinking. ‘I hope I’m ready. I hope I’ll be a good father.’

The doctor came out shortly after the others showed up. He was dressed like a doctor with a white lab coat and white pants. He had glasses on and looked to be in his earlier to mid 40s. He had black hair that was turning gray. They all stood up as the doctor came out smiling. “Everything went fine. You have a health baby Mr. Kaiba….” Before he could tell him what he had Seto made a bee line for Joey’s room. The others followed and walked in. Seto walked over to see his new… “Son? I have a son?”
“Yes, Seto. A son.” Joey said with a smile as Seto looked down at his son. He picked him up and held him.

It was coming real for Seto as he held his son. Everything was going to change and it was already. He now had someone who was going to be looking up at him, looking for him when he was hurt and needed to talk. Simply put someone who’s going to need him.
Seto also knew he would be there for him. No matter what, he would be there to show him anything and everything. ‘Everything little one.’ Seto thought to himself.

A few days later found Seto in the nursery holding his son, Seth. It was around midnight and he had put in a long day of work but he didn’t care. His son woke up crying and Joey was starting to get up when Seto pushed him down and shook his head. “Sleep. I’ll get him.”
Now here he was feeding and rocking his son back to sleep. “You do know that when its dark out you're supossed to sleep.” Seto said as he smiled as Seth. Seth just looked up at his papa and blinked his blue eyes.
He looked over his son and smiled. He looked just like him but had Joey’s blond hair with some brown in it. In fact it was because he looked like Seto so much that they decided to call him Seth. His name when he was Atume’s high priest.
A few moments later Seto was laying Seth down in his crib. “Welcome home small one.” Seth just yawned before closing his eyes and falling asleep. Seto walked out and barely closed the door.

Seth, now 4, slowly opened his parents’ door to their bedroom. Seeing them still asleep he ran over and jumped on their bed, waking them up. Joey smiled when he saw their son. Seto smiled as well when he would have normally yelled at anyone for waking him up.
As he sat there with Seth on his lap listening to the dream he had Seto realized that Seth had changed everything in his life and Seto was keeping his promise to show him love instead of hate. He was letting his son have the childhood he didn’t. He got him the latest toys and would always let him have the first toy his company made. For vacations they went all over the world. He was showing him everything.
Seto smiled as he watched his pup take Seth and sit him on his lap. “So, I can take it you had a good night sleep.”
“Yep now its time to get up.”
“I guess it is.” Joey said as him and Seth got out of bed. Seto sat watching his family before getting up. ‘My life has and keeps changing because of that small one. And its for the best.’ Seto through as he walked downstairs for breakfast with them.
It had also seemed Seth had gotten his love for food from his daddy as well. Seto just shook his head as he watched those two go through enough food to feed an army. “Just like his daddy.” Seto mumbled.

As Seto walked down the stairs he saw his son, now 18, getting ready for graduation. Next year he was going to college majoring in business so when he took over Kaiba Corp he knew what he was doing. Seto smiled as he saw Seth in his cap and gown. “Seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant with you.” Joey said. Joey’s blond hair was starting to turn gray just like Seto’s brown hair. Seto walked over to Joey and put an arm around his waist. “Oh, Dad don’t start crying.” Seth said as he saw his dad start to tear up. “I can’t help it.”
“Let your dad be. You know how emotional he can be.”
“Hey.” Joey said with a pout as Seth started to laugh.
As Seto watched his son walk across the stage and get his diploma his thoughts went back to when he first found out, to when he first saw him, first held him, his first steps, first word, first day of school, first date and first heartbreak, to when he learned to drive and got his first car. He had seen a lot of firsts with his son and now he would be leaving them. Seto couldn’t help let a tear fall and knew he wouldn't have changed any of it for the world. He had done it all it with his arms wide open.
