SomeDay
Someday
A/N I hope you like this. I got the lyrics from www.reallyrics.com so if a lyric is wrong just let me know and I will change it.
I don’t own Yu-Gi-Oh! Nor do I own the song.
How the hell did we wind up like this
Why weren’t we able
To see the sighs that we missed
And try to turn the tables
“Joey you don’t understand I’m the….”
“I don’t want to hear it Seto. For God's sake, it was our one-year anniversary! You could have taken the fucken day off!” Joey yelled.
I wish you would unclench your fits
And unpack your suitcase
Lately their been to much of this
Don’t think its to late
Joey was throwing his stuff into his suitcase. “You’re always working! If working is that much more important then me, fine! I’m leaving!” With that, Joey grabbed his bag and walked out of their room and Seto’s life.
Nothin’s wrong
Just as long as
You know that Someday I will
Someday, somehow
Gonna make it alright but not right now
I know you’re wondering when
(You’re the only one who knows that.)
Someday, Somehow
Gonna make it alright but not right now
I know you’re wondering when
One year later, Seto Kaiba, owner and CEO of Kaiba Corp, came home tired. His normal neat hair was a mess. His eyes had lost their shine that they had when he was with Joey. He wasn’t his old self. Not the one before Joey or the one while he had Joey. He was always tired and most of the time didn’t give a shit about anyone or anything. The only one he cared for nowadays was his brother, Mokuba.
Seto got up and saw it was one year since Joey left and it would have been two years if Joey had stayed. “I really screwed up last year.” He thought as he got up and started his day. He went to work and tried to bury himself in it like he had been doing but he couldn’t seem to force himself. So he left work early to go home.
Well I hope that since were here anyways
We could end up saying
Things we’ve always need to say
So we could end up stringing
Now the story’s played out like this
Just like a paperback novel
Let’s rewrite an ending that fits
Instead of a Hollywood horror
Later that same day Seto went for a walk. He happened to look across the street and saw his golden hair, brown-eyed pup. He looks just as lonely and sad as he felt. “Joey?” Seto called.
Joey looked up when he heard someone called his name. It was his old master, Seto Kaiba. He saw Seto smile at him. “Se errr Kaiba?” He called back then decided to cross the street. Seto went wide-eyed at what happened next.
Just as Joey decided to cross the street, a car came rushing down the road. Joey turned his head and froze when he saw the car coming. The driver saw Joey and hit his brakes but it was too late. The car hit Joey.
Joey fell on the hood and his head bounced on it and then when the car did stop, he rolled off it and his head bounced on the ground with a sickening smack. “JOEY!” Seto yelled as he ran to where Joey laid unmoving. A crowd had gathered around them as Seto dialed 9-1-1. Seto looked up at the driver and just glared at him when he got out and tried to explain what happened. Seto just dropped to his knees, once he was at his pup side, and placed his bleeding head in his lap. Once he saw the blood he knew Joey had cracked open. “Hold on pup.” He whispered.

Seto was sitting next to Joey’s hospital bed later that same night. He was holding his hand as he looked at him. Joey’s head was wrapped in a bandage so Seto couldn’t see his golden locks. Joey was in a coma so his eyes were closed and Seto would have give anything to see him open his eyes so he could see his beautiful brown eyes. He also had an I.V in his other arm and a tube in his mouth and in his noise. He had one on his chest to keep a check on his heart.

The doctors said there was a 50% chance he would wake up. Seto looked at him as he mumbled, “That still a 50% chance you won’t. Please, pup, wake up. I need you.” Seto said as he looked up at him
I know you’re wondering when
(You’re the only one knows that)

“Please, Joey. You’ve got to wake up. I’ll make it all better, I promise. I do need you. I’m sorry and …and….I love you, pup.” Seto said as he crawled into bed and laid down next to his pup. “I love you.” He said with a kiss on his head as he closed his eyes.
I know you’re wondering when.
