Cold As Ice

Not smut at first but trust me I WILL GET TO IT. lol. I just feel as if i have to set the characters up first before getting to the action lol. But very very soon it will get GOOD =)


I shoved my feelings aside a long time ago. Thanks to my foster father, even though he did leave me Kaiba Corp., we never conversated. The only person i could talk to was Mokuba. I would do anything for that kid. I would give him the world if I could.

I was never good at matters of the heart however, I chased off every girl i ever met with my cold stare. I mean look at me, I'm great looking. But i dont have time for trivial matters, like a girlfriend. Who needs one. I have myself and I'm content with that.

"Seto" Mokuba said entering the room with a bound.

"Yes,"

"Are you ready for school yet.." he said bending down to tie his shoe. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled inwardly as I was fixing my collar.

"Yes kiddo, lets go"

I dropped Mokuba off at his classroom and walked stealthily into mine. Damn Yugi and his friends, all huddled together talking about "important" matters, I scoffed at them.

"Hey Kaiba" Yugi said.

I just looked over at him and nodded that I aknowledged him. I wish I didn't have to do that.

The first day of school and the brat pack is already starting in. I sat at my desk wishing the teacher would arrive. Any minute now it should happen.

"Is this seat taken?"

"Actually...." I looked up into her green eyes..."no" i choked before saying yes.

"Thank you" she had a seat next to mine.

I stared away, not me. No way...why is this happening now.

"So whats your name" she asked me blinking innocently.

"Seto, everyone calls me Kaiba..my last name.."

"Hmmm, you don't mind that I call you Seto do you, I dont like following the crowd i guess you can put it."

"No I dont mind at all" my thoughts were racing so heatidly I didn't know what to do.

"Whats yours?"I smiled.

"Allayna"

Her long dark hair flowed down her back. She pushed her bangs aside behind her ears, and stared into my eyes.

"Can I be forward with you Seto"

"Of course I like it better that way"

"I think you are the most gorgeous man I've ever seen" My eyes opened wide in shock. I knew i was good looking but wow.

"I.....thank you....and you are beautiful..you truly take my breathe away" I whispered not wanting anyone to hear me being mushy.

"Well now that we have that out of the way would you like to do something after school" she said leaning her head on her hand.

I was so taken aback at what I was hearing it took me a moment to respond. I tried to force out the cold Kaiba that everyone knew. But I couldn't, it was like she was the antidote to the other me.

"I'm not sure if I can...I have to pick up my brother Mokuba. And then I have to go back and run my company...a lot of business you know."

"Oh wow, your the Seto Kaiba. I'm sorry...I've heard about you...I'm sorry to have bothered you..." she got up and moved next to Yugi and his friends.

I growled inwardly at myself. 'Why couldn't I have said yes, and what had she heard of me that made her jump up so quickly and run off like that. She was obviously either frightened or intimidated. Whatever, I'm better off without a girl in my life anyway. I do have a business to run. But she...I'm afriad seemed different. A different type of girl. I had to have her in my life...somehow someway I had to get her back to me.."
