Author's Note: For those of your who don't know me and my oddities I have created a world that crosses over every fandom that I write in. This world is one in which men get pregnant as easily as woman, like in this story. So if you don't like the idea of men having babies, you might not want to read this.

"My pharaoh! My pharaoh!" one of the guards called as he ran into the thrown room of the pharaoh affectionately known as the 'dark one'. Not because of any evil or dark deed, but because he was the only one who could control the whole of the Shadow Games and the creatures from there.
"Yes?" Yami looked up at the panting guard.
ere ere was a riot in the square, your highness. The high priest Seth had been lost." the guard looked up at his pharaoh wondering if he would lose his head for losing the high priest.
"WHAT! What has happened? Is he dead?" Yami was on his feet a glaring down at the guard.
"No, my pharaoh... At least we do not believe so. Somehow in the riot we lost sight of he and his horse. We are searching as we speak, but I do not think that he could have survived, pharaoh." the guard knelt at his pharaoh's feet waiting for his fate.
"Don't just kneel there! Go find him! I will not lose my best friend to my own people." Yami screamed making everyone in the room turn their heads away.
The guard was up and, with a bow, running back into the streets to search for the missing priest.
"I will be in my private garden. Do not come to me about anything unless it is news about Seth." the Pharaoh said before walking away.

Katsa hummed softly to himself as he gathered the few things that he needed from the market. Inside his basket a small creature hummed back at him, making him chuckle. Glancing quickly around Katsa lifted his basket and lifted the cloth up just enough to look at the red eyed baby dragon. "Soon we'll go home and you can get out and stretch your wings. But for now go back to sleep." he whispered before settling the basket back onto his hip.
Turning he picked up a bunch of ripe figs and handed the woman running the booth her fee. As he was about to leave the busy market place when a flash of something golden made him make a sharp corner into an alleyway.
Laying, almost beneath the rubble of the alley lay a badly bruised man. What had caught Katsa's attention was a golden hand staff of some kind that was clutched tightly in the hand of the downed man.
"Sir?" Katsa asked softly as he knelt at the man's side. Surprisingly his baby red eyes jumped from his basket nest and nuzzled the brunette's face. After making certain no one had noticed his baby dragon, Katsa tucked him away and started treating the man as best he could with as few of healing agents he had on his person at the time.
"Sir?" Katsa asked again when he noticed the man's eyes had opened.
A shout drew both of their attentions and the downed man groaned and pulled his staff closer to him. "Must... not..."
"What? Must not what?" Katsa asked as he noticed the guards and various others running down the street adjacent to the alleyway they were in.
"Must... not... find..." but before the man could finish he passed back into the realm of unconsciousness.
He must be in deep trouble... Those are the pharaoh's own guards searching... Perhaps he stole the golden short staff... But no my baby dragon would not try to cuddle to a theft... I have to help him. Katsa watched for a clear moment and then in a sparkle of red light Katsa, his unconscious guest and their things were gone.

****
Katsa silently washed the dirt from his guest and inspected the wounds. Most seemed to have been caused from general shoving and few were placed to have been made by horse hooves. He treated them as gently as he could and bandaged him.
He was a pretty man. Something about the wounded brunette made Katsa wish to protect him. A soft whimper at his feet made him glance down at the baby dragon. The little dragon leapt trying to get up on the bed with their wounded guest.
"Now, Phyr. Stay down." Katsa told the baby dragon before going back to wrapping a tight bandage around a wound he had been forced to stitch in the brunette's forearm.
The baby persisted and then gave up. But a few moments later Katsa heard a scrambling on the other side of the bed he had laid his guess out upon just after he had arrived. Soon he could see the head of his dragon at the edge of the bed and then the baby scrambled the rest of the way onto the bed. From there he curled up against the wounded man's neck and Katsa w as amazed to hear him began to purr.
"Silly, silly Phyr. You like our guest." the blonde grinned at the groggy little dragon. He stood back and admired his work before taking the scrapes of clothing he had removed and throwing them into the bag with his other washing. There wasn't much of the good material left, but there was enough to patch things when time called for it.
After he was certain his guest was resting well, Katsa went out and starto woo work on the chores he had been forced to put off so that he could make that trip into the city.

****
The smell of food brought a slow consciousness into his mind. Slowly, he opened his eyes and looked over to where the center fire pit. A blond sat at the edge watching inside of the pot he was stirring. He was just sitting up when the blonde glanced up and gave him a gentle smile.
"Are you feeling better, sir?" the blonde asked as he stood up and moved closer to the bed and his guest.
"My head..." the brunette lifted his hand to where the bandage was wrapped around his forehead.
"I'm certain it feels terrible. But there shouldn't be any lasting damage. Other than your head is there any other part that is bothering you?" Katsa asked as he looked gently at his guest's head.
"My arm... and my ribs." he said putting his hands to the named parts.
Katsa frowned and examined both then nodded. "I had to put a few stitches into your arm and I one of your ribs are broke. But everything that's wrong will heal in a little while. Is there someone you wish me to take you to?"
"I... don't know." the brunette frowned as he said it and his eyebrows drew together as he tried to think. "I don't remember."
"Oh great being above us... Do you remember anything?" Katsa was worried. When he had been an apprentice to the healer he had studied under he had saw a man with the same affliction. He had never regained his memories.
"Seth... My name is Seth... but... nothing else." Seth looked at Katsa with worry. "Don't you know who I am?"
"No." the blonde healer said with a shake of his head. "I found you on the street with this." he held out the hand staff and allowed the wounded man to take it with his uninjured arm.
"The Rod..." Seth shook his head at the disjointed images racing in his head.
Katsa reached out and put a hand to Seth's arm. "Rest, don't try to force the memories to come. They will in their own time. For now, do you feel up to eating?"
At the question Seth's stomach created a soft growling sound making Katsa laugh and nod. "I think it decided for you. I'm afraid it's not much, but-"
The blonde was cut off by the sharp in take of breath from Seth. "What-" Katsa turned in time to see Phyr crawling up onto Seth's lap. "Oh, that's just Phyr. Don't worry he won't bite."
"I know... He's a red eyes black dragon isn't he?" Seth asked as he lifted the baby dragon closer and stroked the soft skin of the baby's chin and throat.
"Yes... do you know anything about them? I just got him and know very little." Katsa asked converonalonally as he went and dished up some food for them both.

"Yami... is it true?" the small black haired boy asked as he walked into the Pharaoh's private garden.
"Micca... Your brother is missing after a riot in the square of the main plaza of the city. But my guard will find him. Don't worry about him. You know Seth can survive anything." the Pharaoh smiled at the younger brother of his head priest.
Micca nodded and sat beside the fountain Yami was at. "I don't know what I'll do if I've lost him as well."
"You don't even think about it. Ra has many plans yet for our favorite priest... Now why don't you tell me why you're not at your studies?" Yami gave Micca a questioning smile.
Micca shrugged. "I heard what had happened and I needed to know if it was true."
"Okay... you can stay here until we have word. But tomorrow you are going back to your studies twice as hard. Okay?"
Micca nodded and studied the bright fish that swam in the fountain trying not to worry too much.

**** Part 2

"Seth?" Katsa asked as he walked into the small building that was his home.
"Yes?" the brunette looked up from where he sat petting the baby dragon. It had been three days since the healer had found his amnesic guest.
"Would you like a chance to clean up? I'm certain you feel ready for it since you haven't had much more than a quick wash down out of a basin." Katsa's voice washed gently over Seth making him shiver slightly.
"That would be... very acceptable." Seth put Phyr off of his lap and stood slowly, not allowing Katsa to help him at all.
Katsa only chuckled and walked within a few paces behind the man as they walked out of the back door to the hut. A short distance from the hut a stand of stones, drew Seth up making him look at the man behind him. "Where is your well so we can draw the water?"
The healer only shook his head and gently took Seth's hand and led him around the edge of the stones. Inside of the rock stand, green seemed to spring from the very sands of the desert. After walking past a few small palms and ferns Seth's ear became caught on the sound of moving water, like that of the ocean he had seen with... someone. Seth tried to force the memory to the front but had the fight off a wave of pain. Then he saw it. A beautiful oasis. In the center of the desert was a land as rich and green as the tales he had heard of from the north with it's leagues of trees and life. A stream wider than twice Seth's height ran off a point in the rock forming a waterfall about Katsa's height.
"Come on. We need to bath and return to the hut before the hottest part of the day." Katsa prompted and, taking Seth's elbow, led him to the edge of the water at the base of the waterfall.
Seth, still a little self conscious about being nude, turned his back and removed the simple cloth he wore and hurried into the water. It was refreshingly cool, almost enough to make him shiver before he became use to the temperature.
Undressing slowly Katsa, laughed softly at his guest's behavior. "You have nothing to be ashamed of, Seth... At least not in the realm of the physical aspect, anyway."
Seth blushed and tried to hurry his bathing. Something about this was striking him as wrong, other than the large water source in the middle of the desert. When he got back he'd have to tell... //Who? Tell who about it?// Seth began to get frustrated with the half memories and thoughts that glimmered in the back of his mind.
A soft chuckle drew his mind from it's frustration. Turning he found Katsa laughing and pointing back to where their clothes lay on the bank. Phyr lay on top of his own skirt, curled up watching them in the water. "I do believe my red eyes has developed feelings for you."
Seth, who couldn't help but smile himself as he took the little cake of homemade soap from Katsa and soaped up his hair, shook his head avoiding getting the soap in his eyes. "That wouldn't be a good thing. Sigil, Misca, and Oro would be very put out with me."
Katsa looked up at the use of names, and realized Seth hadn't even realized he'd used them. "Oh? Really, who are they?" he asked in a conversational tone.
"My blue eyes. They can be loving little creatures..." Seth left off as he realized he had regained a memory.
"You have some of your memories once again?" Katsa asked as he moved closer in case the brunette went into shock.
"I can remember them. My precious blue eyes white dragons. I remember them!" Seth reached out and grabbed the healer by the waist and lifted him a little then allowed him to slid down to where they were chest to chest, where they stood for a moment just staring at each other before realizing how they were.
Blushing Seth set Katsa back a few steps back and cleared his throat. "It seems as if they will be coming back after all. As soon as I can I will be out of your home, healer. I do not want to over stay my welcome."
"You will always be welcome here, Seth... In truth you are the first person, other than myself, to ever be in my home. I'd like to think we were friends." Katsa gave Seth a shy smile with a blush of his own before returning to his bathing.
Just as Seth was about to return to his ablutions he noticed the baby dragon was no longer on his skirt. "I think the baby has lost interest in watching us splash around all day." Seth commented and turned to set up the waterfall to rinse the soap from his frothy hair.
Looking up at the top of the rock he could see the little red eyes looking off the edge down at him. "Katsa!"
The healer looked up in time to see the baby whimper as he went head first towards the water.
Katsa's heart stopped as he watched the little dragon whimper, falling. Seth rushed as much as he could and was just a few hand widths away from catching Phyr. Drawing in his breath, Seth dove under and felt for the little dragon. Moments later Katsa breathed a sigh of relief as Seth came up with a very unhappy Phyr in his arms.
"Oh, my silly little one!" Katsa said as he scooped Phyr up and snuggled him as the little dragon shook trying to dry himself.
Seth watched the love Katsa was giving the baby and realized, he wanted it for himself. Shaking his head from that ill-advised thought Seth moved closer and helped Katsa stay balanced as they walked out of the water.
"Is he okay?" Seth asked after they had seated themselves on the sand bar and Katsa began checking over his dragon.
"Yes... a little shook up, but fine. Thank you, Seth. I owe you his life." Katsa leaned over and brushed an innocent kiss over Seth's mouth before turning back to Phyr who was now dry and purring at all the attention he was getting.

"My Pharaoh... you sent for me?" Retan asked as he moved out of the shadows. The long dark blue cloak covered him from head to toe, concealing his features and his memorable white hair.
"Yes, seer. Tell me what you see in the waters... where is Seth?" Yami demanded of the vision-seer. It had been eight days since the high priest had been lost in the market and Yami was getting more and more restless.
Retan moved to the large empty bowl and began to pour water into it from a pitcher sitting beside it. "Time flows with the course of the mighty life-giving river. Show to me the fate of Seth, priest to the peoples of the upper and lower countries, and speaker for the gods." Retan stared into the waters and slowly they began to clear showing him a picture of Seth on top of someone. At first Retan thought they were making love, but then he noticed the other was laughing... As was Seth. This was something he had never seen from the stern priest. A moment later revealed a baby dragon leaping on top of the duo making them laugh even harder.
"Well?" Yami demanded breaking Retan from the vision.
"He is happy where he is... I believe it is the fate of the gods for him to be there." Retan said bluntly standing up and dumping the water from the bowl into the potted plant on the opposite side of the bowl as the pitcher.
"What? Tell me where he is! I would ask him myself." Yami demanded.
"It is not your place to upset what the higher gods have set into motion, Pharaoh. Good day." Retan bowed before walking back into the shadows and blending in with them.
"Curse of Ra on him... I will find Seth." Yami slammed his palm onto the top of his thrown. "Seth... happy? I have will have to see this one for myself."

"Stop this madness! I beg you! SETH!" Katsa giggled and laughed as Seth ran his fingers over the sensitive area at his ribs.
Seth said nothing as he continued to tickle harder.
It had started out innocently enough when Phyr had brushed against Seth's foot making him jump and hiss. Upon finding out that Seth's feet were sensitive Katsa had attacked. And because of this Seth had felt the need to retaliate.
"PL!" !" Katsa was beginning to grow short of breath from laughing so much.
Seth was laughing himself by this time and when the small weight of Phyr landed on his back he only laughed harder as the baby bore him down on top of the blonde.
Suddenly Katsa's laughter stopped when their lower regions came into contact through their cloths. Seth was about to lift himself up when Katsa's hands came up and clasped behind his neck. Staring down into those big brown eyes Seth became lost as Katsa lifted himself up and lapped gently at his lips.
Phyr was rudely routed from his warm place between Seth's shoulders as Katsa slide his hands down to the spot the little dragon had been in. Huffing the little dragon climbed off the bed and walked over to curl up next to the Rod.
"We should not." Seth murmured as he pulled back from the licking.
"Why not?" Katsa pulled him back down and applied his lips to the brunette's. Gently, he opened his mouth and teased the crease of Seth's trying to get him to open.
Seth opened and slid his tongue out to taste and dance with Katsa's. Katsa groaned as Seth took a more aggressive tone and began to charge into new territory, sampling his teeth, palate and inner lips in a ruthless manner.
Katsa lifted his legs and fit them to Seth's hip, grinding their growing needs into one another. When Seth was forced to break for air he panted and ground his hips harder down into Katsa's. "Want you... Need you..."
Katsa reached out and felt under the edge of the bed until he came up with a small bag from which he took a bottle and held it out to Seth before throwing the bag to one side. "Then take me."
Looking from the bottle to the wide needful brown eyes Seth nodded and took the glass container and set it to one side before leaning down to catch at the lithe neck so temptingly displayed before him. With a gasp Katsa moved his legs around Seth's hips holding him in place while they both rotated their erections into each other.
Seth sucked and gently chewed at a small area until it began to purple with a bruise. A mark, showing the world that Katsa, healer belonged to him Seth, high priest to the Pharaoh of all Egypt.
The memory was lost in a swirl of feelings, both physical and emotional, so it didn't stay with the high priest long enough for him to recognize it for what it was.
"Seth... please."
Obeying the soft plea Seth removed their cloths, though they hadn't stood as much of a deterrent in the first place. Seth reached out and took up the bottle. With an almost evil grin he poured a little of the oily substance into Katsa's navel mg thg the healer gasp and giggle at the strange feeling. Seth began pressing little kisses up the edge of Katsa's chin as he swirled his first two fingers in the oil. Reaching down, Seth wrapped the oiled fingers, first around his lover's hardened shaft and stroked it for a moment, before sliding the hand back up for more oil from the bellybutton and returning to massage at the firm balls at the base of the shaft.
Katsa was so lost in the gently tickling sensation of the little kisses at his chin he didn't notice Seth's fingers traveling south, until the first one pressed at his entrance. Gasping, his eyes shot up and he stared up at Seth.
"Rest easy and relax... I would not harm you for all the dragons in the shadow realm." Seth pushed the finger in until the first knuckle and stopped to allow Katsa to become adjusted.
"I- it doesn't hurt like I expected." Katsa managed as he tried to relax enough for Seth's finger to finish it's course.
Seth wiggled his finger around until it moved in and out of his lover easily before pulling it out and getting more oil. Katsa leaned up and captured Seth's pursed lips as he pushed the two fingers into the previously untouched orifice. The healer flinched but continued to taste his lover's mouth, trying not to think of the strange almost painful feelings. Soon, two finger were moving freely and Seth removed them to get more oil. As the three fingers entered him Katsa broke the kiss and gasped clinching down at the pressure he had felt.
"Shush... I promise, it will feel good... Allow me to make you feel good... Please." Seth said softly as he stroked Katsa's hair with his unoiled hand.
After taking a deep breath and looking Seth in the eyes Katsa nodded. The three fingers returned and began to work themselves in. Katsa fought the need to tighten up, but Seth leaned down and began to suck at his neck again, distracting him. When the fingers were firmly seated deep within him Katsa shifted slightly causing them to brush something within him. "Wha?!"
"That is the pleasure I was telling you about." Seth said leaning up and taking his mouth, ignoring his own need to pound into the body beneath him.
Katsa loosened up greatly as his lover's fingers stimulated the small place inside of him. It wasn't long before Seth withdrew his fingers, making Katsa moan and thrust his hips up in need. "Easy. I want you to relax and watch my e my my lover." Katsa's eyes were drawn up at the semi-hypnotic tone in his lover's words and stared into his blue eyes as Seth's large oiled cock pushed into him.
Seth was panting by the time he had made it fully into his lover and Katsa had gotten past the pain and felt each nudge of his pleasure place. "Seth..."
Grunting in reply the high priest began to move. Katsa moaned as Seth's cock raked over the spot making lightning shot through his body and his own cock throb in almost desperate need.
Their pace picked up as their need increased and soon they were slamming together, Katsa screaming his need and Seth grunting his.
Seth could feel the end welling up inside of his lover as the chanal around him tightened. Reaching down he gripped Katsa's heavily leaking cock and pumped him in quick tight motions.
The healer, having long since felt the need to burst, let loose his desire in a spray of creamy white across Seth's chest. The tightness inside of him was enough to milk Seth's seed from him in one long gush.
What seemed like a short eternity later Seth settled down on top of Katsa, only half surprised his lover had passed out from the intense passion they had both succumb to. Gently, the high priest pulled from his lover's body, internally pleased to see his seed running from the tight hole. Leaning down Seth kissed Katsa then realized his memories were back as they should be. As easily as he could, Seth stood and found a cloth to clean them up. He was about to crawl back into bed when he remembered how long he had been gone and how he had come to lose his memory in the first place.
//I've got to go back... and I've got to go back now. Yami is probably on the verge of tearing the city apart.// With a sad glance at Katsa, Seth drew on his skirt and picked up the Rod. After giving Phyr a glance he knelt at Katsa's side. His healer-lover had yet to wake up and it saddened Seth to know he might not see him again. It would be so easy to stay here without a worry but the people needed him. His brother needed him. So, with a heavy heart Seth kissed Katsa one last time before using the Rod to pull him from the little hut to the main temple of the city. //I will come back someday, Katsa. I promise... and I will take you for my mate. This I swear upon the Rod.//

**** Part 2b

Yami looked up at the gasp of the guards around the thrown room. There, standing as insolent as you please in the door was none other than the man Yami had been searching for.
"Seth!" Yami was on his feet grinning as the ill dressed priest walked up and gave him a bow.
"My Pharoah." he returned with a smile.
"Where in the name of Ma'at have you been?" Yami demanded in his high resonating voice.
"I was... unfit to travel. I returned as soon as possible."
Yami shook his head and took his thrown and gestured to the priest's normal seat, which he took. "I should have you flogged."
"Ahh, but you won't." Seth accepted a glass of wine from a slave before looking Yami over. "You seem a little worse for wear."
"That brother of your's has been trying to drive me mad. Have you seen him since your return?" Yami asked as he studied his newly returned priest. Perhaps the seer had been correct and this had been preordained by the higher gods.
"Not yet. I do not wish to pull him from his lessons."
"What lessons?" Yami snorted. "Since you disappeared he has done nothing but kneel in the temple and pray."
"Micca... If you'll excuse me, Yami..." Seth rose and bowed before hurrying off to scold his younger brother.
Yami laughed in a joyful way and called upon one of his servants. "Prepare a feast! We celebrate the return of our high priest!"
The servant nodded and hurried to do as the Pharaoh instructed.

Katsa's eyes were barely open as Seth used his Rod to disappear in a swirl of darkness. Sitting up Katsa cringed at the ache within him but smiled when he remembered how it had gotten there. But then the smile faded when he realized that Seth had found his lost memories and was gone from his life, possibly forever.
With tears in his eyes he reached down and scooped up Phyr, who had come over to see if he could get in the bed. Cradling the dragonling to him Katsa cried. "I... hope... he's happy where he belongs, Phyr." he said through sobs.
Realizing his master's heart ache the small dragon began to purr, hoping it would sooth away the pain.

*******Part 3

"Come on, Katsa... Just eat the nasty little root and be done with it." the healer said to himself as he stared at the twisted little piece of dried plant in his hand.
It had been two full cycles of the moon since Seth had gone back to his own life, leaving Katsa to deal with his own. It hadn't taken Katsa long to figure out he was carrying a child from his first and only encounter with Seth. At first he had been overjoyed with the idea of producing a little life. But then the reality of the situation hit him. Sure, he was able to support himself with the herbal remedies he produced, but there was no way he could take care of a baby. Now he sat with the plant that would make his body expel the child, but he wasn't certain he could do it.
In his mind he knew he couldn't take care of a child, but in his heart... oh he wanted this baby with everything in him. So he sat there, so worried and undecided he didn't hear Phyr, who by now was five feet long and four stones heavy, going out the door.

****
After Seth had finished his dawn prayers to the gods, he went to sit with Yami. "Yami, I need to ask something of you."
Yami, who had been enjoying his breakfast, looked up and nodded while taking a drink. "What is it, Seth? You know I will grant you anything in my power."
"I... have found my mate, but as your law dictates I must ask you before I marry. I am asking you now... Allow me to wed my healer, if he will have me." Seth asked his blue eyes sparkling, letting Yami know that if he didn't say yes, Seth was going to do find a way to do it anyway.
"Of course. I have been wanting to meet this healer of yours since you first spoke of him. We'll have a large ceremony right here in the palace gardens." Yami nodded and gave a wide gesture. "Well, don't just sir here, go ask him. Even your brother has been anxious to meet this mysterious healer."
Seth rose and after bowing, swept the Rod in a wide arch and sent his body back to where his love was.
Yami chuckled and turned to a slave. "I think you had best go clean up the high priest's room. Make it presentable enough for his soon to be mated husband."

****
Katsa was just about to bite down on the root when the door of his hut opened in a rush. The root went flying and Katsa came to his feet in a fighting stance ready to defend his home... and his child from what ever had so rudely knocked at the door.
"Katsa?" Seth murmured as he stared at the healer he remembered so well. The man that he loved.
"Seth?" Katsa fought the dizziness, but knew he couldn't hold it off. This wasn't the first time he had lost touch with his senses since becoming pregnant.
"What's wrong?" Seth asked just before Katsa crumpled onto the floor. "Great Osiris." Seth rushed to his side and tested the rising of his chest. Once assured that his lover was still living he gently scooped the blonde into his arms and, using the Rod, sent them back to the city.

****

Yami was busy writing out an order for things that needed to be done to the palace gardens before the wedding could take place. He had taken the job on himself, because he wanted it to be perfect for his friend. A moment after finishing his list the door opened and a haggard looking Seth walked in. "What is it, Seth? Has something happened to your healer?"
"I do not know... I got to his home and he fainted at my feet. I brought him here... The healers will tell me nothing." Seth cursed them then took it back, praying for the well-fair of his lover.
Yami shook his head. "It will be fine, Seth. You know that the palace healer's are the best within the confines of my lands."
"That's not true, Yami. Katsa was within your borders and he is far better than any you have here." Seth stuck up for his lover with a narrow eyed glare.
"Thank you for your kind words, Seth." Katsa said as he walked in slowly and gave the Pharaoh a half bow before sinking onto a chair beside Seth.
"Should you be up? You were ill." Seth said as he stood and took one of Katsa's hands and put the other onto his shoulder.
"I am fine. You merely startled me. You really shouldn't come blowing into a person's home like that, Seth. You never know when they might attack first and... faint later." Katsa smiled up at Seth then looked to Yami. "Greetings, Pharaoh."
Yami was shocked by this impudence. No one looked upon him without his permission. But he wasn't going to hold it against this man, as he obviously was a foreigner and probably did not know the customs... And he was to be Seth's husband. "Greetings."
"Seth... I would send myself back, but I am very weak at the moment, could you use your hand staff to send me back, please." Katsa asked looking tiredly up at Seth who shook his head.
"You're going to stay here and rest... Then we will speak about you going back to your hut... Don't worry about Phyr, I had him put with Sigil, Misca, and Oro. I think they'll get along fine... Yami, if you'll excuse us." Seth nodded to the Pharaoh before picking up Katsa and walking away.
Yami, chuckling, went back to writing out the plans for the wedding. "Yes... we're going to need fancy cakes and fruits... and belly dancers... can not forget the belly dancers..."

****

Seth laid Katsa out on his bed and tucked a loose sheet around the ill healer. "Are you certain you are feeling all right?"
"I am fine... So this is where you live... I knew when I woke up and the other healers told me I had been brought in by the high priest Seth, that you were an important person... but this..." Katsa gave a vague wave around the richly appointed room.
"If you don't like it... it could be your's to change... if you want to." Seth stumbled over his words and Katsa looked at him strangely.
"Are *you* feeling all right, Seth? I don't believe I've ever heard you stutter before."
Seth drew himself up and huffed. "I do not stutter... And you didn't answer me."
"I didn't hear you ask a question." Katsa was about to reach out and check for a high temperature when the high priest's words struck him. "You don't mean..."
"I would like for you to become my mate and husband... father of my children, care giver for my brother until he has reached his majority... keeper of my soul and heart..." Seth took both of Katsa's hands in his and looked into his eyes. "I would love to bind my soul to your for all of time."
Katsa could only start to laugh at the 'father of my children' part and the shock of being proposed to without Seth knowing about the baby.
"I don't believe my proposal was that amusing." Seth said dropping his hands and starting to turn away.
Katsa put out his hand and stopped the priest before he could leave. "That is not why I am laughing... I am happy, Seth. Completely so. And I would be happy to spend all of eternity in your arms."
Seth, still not understanding the laughter, shrugged it off and took Katsa into his arms. "Are you certain you want to tie yourself to me? It will not saf safe thing. People are always trying to kill me."
"Then I will protect you." Katsa moved onto Seth's lap and laid his head over his heart.
"I think it should be I that protects you, my tender-hearted love." Seth murmured into his blonde hair.
"All right... at least until your son is born." Katsa whispered into Seth's ear stilling the priest from where he had been about to start kissing his husband to be.
"My son?" Seth looked at Katsa in confusion.
"You are a mighty one, Seth. Your seed is strong... there will be no need for replanting, because your son already grows within me." Katsa told him tracing Seth's cheek bones with a soft smile, half wondering if their child would get them.
"My son?" Seth asked again as his keen mind raced and put the facts together. He had gotten Katsa with child the one time they had been together.
"Your son." Katsa took his hands and put them over his stomach with that sofile ile still burning on his face.
"My son... our son." Seth began to smile, then that smile became a grin and before long he was laughing gently and hugging Katsa on his lap.

**** Epilogue

Seth and Katsa sat together as they watch the fiasco Yami had put together for their wedding. One would think it some religious gathering. There were dancers, snake charmers, food, fortune tellers and everything in between.
As the night drew to an end, and just before Seth was going to take Katsa back to their chamber so that he could rest, a small heavily cloaked figure came forward and a hush fell over the crowd.
"Mighty Pharaoh, would you like for me to look into the cards and tell your future?" the voice was just as small the body it came from and Yami nodded.
"Come forward. Read the cards... tells us what is in store for us." Yami gestured for a lap table to be brought for the fortune teller and the small person, it was not possible to tell if they were male or female, knelt and dealt the cards.
"Your rule will not be one of legends as many before you and many after you, but you Great Pharaoh will have an impact on more than just this land in which you rule..." the small one flipped a few cards and went on. "You will be called upon to save the world from something these people all think of as harmless and then your soul will be gone for many thousands of years... But then you will return and fulfill the rest of your destiny." the small fortune teller gathered the cards and turned to leave.
"Wait!" Yami was on his feet before he even realized it. He caught the small person and ripped away the layers of cloth covering his face. Inside of the heavy hood a much younger face was set. And it looked exactly like him.
"Your fate is not yet ready for you, Pharaoh... Everyone you hold dear now, as well as your enemies... we will all meet again...I have foresaw it." the younger version of him pulled away and rewrapped his face before leaving as quietly as he came.
After Yami had returned to his seat and the festivities had started again Seth leaned over, "Don't pay him any mind, Yami... Him and his kind are only here for the money they can make or steal."
Yami thought about it for a moment then shook his head. "He took no payment... and Seth, he had my fac

Seth looked at him then nodded. "We are not to know the full will of the gods until we set in judgement with them... But right now I've got a husband to celebrate a wedding night with... Excuse us, Yami."
Yami nodded and the rest of the crowd wished them well and the Pharaoh caught a glimpse of the fortune teller version of himself before the heavily cloaked figure was gone into the night.
"Many thousand year... I don't like that sound of that. But to save the world... I guess it's what I must do." Yami stood, walking away unaware that fate was only a few short years away and that the fortune teller had been right. Their time was far in the future, not here in the past.
