Back again with another story. Hope you enjoy this one. Just a lot of fluff this time around.

It was bliss
It was bliss the time we spent together. It’s these times that I treasure the most. There aren’t many where it’s just he and I. If it’s not one thing then it’s usually another but when we do have these moments together it’s usually just the two of us. We don’t end up doing much together, just enjoying each others company. Like right now, we are at his place in the living room. I’m catching up on some homework and he’s working on some paperwork that he brought home from the office. It’s just we at the moment, it seems that his little brother Mokoba has made himself scarce. He’s most likely playing games in his room to give us some time alone since we haven’t had much of that. Seto’s been away on a business trip and I’ve been swamped with schoolwork. Between that and helping out my best bud Yugi and his grandpa there hasn’t been much time for anything but eating and sleeping. So it seems like these moments between the two of us are rare.
“Joey” I hear say.say. It seems like I’ve been caught staring again.
“Yeah” he’s actually smiling at me so I know I can’t be into much trouble.
“Come sit by me.”
“Sure,” not that he really needed to ask, but it’s nice that he does. Usually I would have sat down right beside him but I saw the paperwork in his hands and thought better of it. So I got up from my spot on the floor and sat down next to him. I peeked over his shoulder to see what he was working on.
“So is it good or bad news?” I asked not really understanding what he was reading. It looked like some kind of report from one of the departments at Kaiba corp.
“It’s just a weekly report about the new developments on the dual disks.” He said.
You’You’re making new ones?”
“I’m improving the current ones. Why? Did you want a new dual disk?” He looked at me and smirked.
“No, I was just wondering why you needed to improve them. I thought they worked greet as they are.”
“Perhaps but there’s always room for improvement when it comes to holographic technology.”
“Oh” was all I could think to say as he continued going over the report. So I decided to cuddle up to him as he worked. I don’t think he minded too much since he leaned into me. It was a perfect moment between us. Just sitting here, enjoying each others presence. The only sound in the room was the rustling of paper and the giggling form the hall. It seems Mokuba has come out of his room and has decided to spy on us for a bit. It’s a good thing were just sitting here because he has caught us in a few embarrassing moments. Not that I minded too much because Seto looks so cute when he blushes. I make a point to do it as much as possible when where together, even when were with our friends. He is so cute when he is trying to not act embarrassed around everyone. It sort of show the rest of our friends that he is human underneath that cold exterior he likes to show so much. But when it’s just the two of us, like this, he drops the act thought there’s honestly not much difference. The only real difference that you maybe be able to see is that he is more approachable then he normally seems. But then I think I’m getting off topic here. Not that it really matters, there are times when I enjoy getting off topic when it comes to my boyfriend. It seems that he’s done looking at that report because he leaned forward to place it on the coffee table next to my forgotten homework.
“So did I miss much at school while I was away?” he asked leaning back.
“Not really and I don’t think it well take you long to catch up either. It’s mostly book work anyway. So did your trip go as planned?” I asked.
“It went as I hoped, but it’s good to be home. Even if were being watched.” He smiled at me as the giggles seemed to get louder. I guess Mokuba needs to work on his spying skills.
“So did you want to do anything tonight.” He asked.
“We could lock your brother up somewhere” I ask sweetly.
“I don’t think so, but he well be going to bed soon so we could watch a movie before you have to go home.”
“Well I got a surprise for you.”
“Really?”
“Yep, I can stay the night here. So we well have plenty of time after Mokuba goes to bed.”
“Well that is a surprise. Usually you have to go home on a weeknight. Did you have a fight with your father?” He sounded concerned. I couldn’t help but look up into his eyes only to get lost in their blue depths.
“Not really, but then I think he has a poker game tonight so he practically through me out for the night.” He frowned obviously not happy about that.
“Don’t worry about it. It means more time with you.” I told him trying to improve the moment. He sighed, I think that trip wiped him out more then he thinks.
“All right, you pick a movie and I’ll deal with Mokuba.”
“Sure” I said as he got up. I watched him leave the room and got up to look at the movies. I figured something mellow and relaxing as I glanced at the time. It was almost eleven p.m.. I hadn’t realized that it was getting late. It’s a good thing there’s no school tomorrow. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to watch a movie. He would have gone to work for a few hours and I would be in bed. The movie in hand I turned on the TV and DVD player and set up the movie so it would be ready for when Seto got back. I didn’t have long to wait.
“Did you want something to eat or drink?” he asked coming into the room.
“Sure, how about some pop.”
“All right I’ll be right back,” he turned and left the room. I busied myself by tiding up the coffee table. I std hid his papers nicely along side my own homework and moved them to the side so we had room for our drinks. I also moved the pillows around so we could lay down on the couch. I had just made myself comfortable when he returned with our drinks.
“So where do I sit?” he asked when he saw me laying there.
“Who said anything about siting?”
“Well” was his only reply as he placed our drinks down and made himself comfortable. He lay on top of me with his head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around him and started the movie. I left the remote on the floor since it would be easier to reach if I needed to stop it. It took a bit longer then I thought it would but he finally drifted off to sleep. I guess he was really watching the movie to stay awake through half of it. I glanced at the time once more and saw that it was just after midnight. I’ll have to make sure he sleeps in so he gets enough sleep. I watched a bit more of the movie before I began to drift off myself so I tightened my hold on the body on top of me and placed a gentle kiss on the top of his head before letting sleep claim me as well. Joining him in the place of dreams.
