Beautiful Silence

***

She had assured him that she would be all right. Promised him even. He had been brave for her. Now it was her turn to be brave for him.

Joey gave his sister one last glance over his shoulder with proud amber eyes before following the rest of the gang up to the roof to watch the duel between the infamous Seto Kaiba and the eighth duelist, who, as far as they could tell, had yet to exist.

Serenity sighed with relief when they had gone, feeling as though a heavy weight had been lifted off her shoulders. She had no idea Joey's friends could be so...LOUD. Before her bandages had been removed, just listening to them had been nothing more than a jumble of verbal chaos; she couldn't decipher one from the other. Now that she could see, it only made matters worse. Especially when she found herself swamped by Tristan and dice-kitty--what was his name again? She knew Tristan well enough; enough to want to stay away from him. And cat-dude, though he was far hotter than Tristan, seemed too arrogant and flamboyant for her comfort. She knew their "accident" on the roof was because they had been fighting over her.

Great. Her looks were going to get a pair of idiots killed one day.

While the concept of two older guys falling over each other for her was flattering, why did it have to be those two nincumpoops? Why couldn't one of them be the guy with the chilling yet intense blue eyes? Or the sand-blonde Egyptian? Hell, even the short guy with the freaky hair and over-confident attitude would work.

Unlike her overzealous older brother, Serenity was a recluse by nature. She prefered her books and art over parties and social calls.

That's why hanging with Joey's group, who couldn't seem to bear being away from each other for more than ten minutes, presented a bit of a problem. The moment she removed her bandages, she was faced with several choices, none of which that appealed to her. She could totally change her attitude to be more social acceptable, but then they would know she wasn't being real. She could always avoid them, but then they would think she was stuck up, or hated them even. She could continue the way she was, constantly hiding behind her brother, but then they would see her for the spineless coward she really was.

No matter what she tried, she would never fit in with those people.

Serenity shivered, rubbing her arms. Even watching Mai in her lifeless, near-death state was not giving her the solitude she seeked. In fact, if anything, it was giving her the creeps. And so, with a sigh, she pushed herself off the chair and departed the room.

Be brave for Joey.

Now there was bullshit if she had heard any.

She had only volunteered to stay behind so that she could be alone with her best friend, which was silence.

These past morbid thoughts within her have actually not been uncommon as of late. Serenity was not the same innocent little sister Joey had left long ago. In fact, since during all that time, Serenity had not been the same girl ever. She had dropped her happy attitude, her never-dying smile, always wanting nothing more than to be alone. Just herself and the silence. That's it.

Just to be all alone. Away from it all. Away from the screaming, the crying, the shattering of good china upon the wall, the heavy stomping of feet, the heavier blows on soft skin...just away from it all.

Away away away...

Silence. Beautiful, beautiful silence.

In her musings, Serenity had wandered into a room not too far from Mai's. Ah, yet another inmate of this flying penitentiary currently lay on the fine line between life and death. This made what? three people Kaiba had indirectlypitapitalized?

Too bad she wasn't a duelest. No doubt she would've joined them.

Then she could really be alone.

Curious, she stepped into the dark room. As poorly lit as it was, the moonbeams floating in from the window reflected vividly off the shimmering silver strands of the white-haired bishonen lying there.

Oh, it was just Bakura Ryou.

A small smile finding it's way on her face, Serenity sat down next to him on the bed. Out of all of them, she liked Bakura the best. He was gentle and quiet. And so mysterious. His occult-themed deck was deliciously morbid. The duel between him and Yugi had been freaky, the best special effects she had ever seen. Joey and his friends seemed convinced that all of it was real.

Damn. And she had been the one told to grow up. At least she no longer believed in evil ghosts and ancient magic.

Poor Bakura.

She tenderly ran her fingers through his snowy bangs, then allowed her hand to run gently down the side of his face, the tips of her fingers brushing along the smooth skin.

Poor Bakura. So white. So pale.

Quickly, Serenity drew her hand back when he stirred and his eyes opened, slowly revealing the deep chocolate orbs that lay beneath. Serenity could only sit there as Bakura sat up and stretched, looking completely better than he had moments before. "Serenity?" he inquired in that soft-spoken English accent, head tilted with slight confusion. "What are you doing in here? Where are the others?"

"Joey and his friends went up to the roof to watch Kaiba go against the eighth duelist," Serenity explained with a shrug. "I decided to stay behind."

"But don't you want to watch the duel?"

"Frankly, no."

Bakura's eyes widened then changed into concerned understanding. "I see. Any particular reason?"

She hesitated, unsure of how to respond.

"Could be fatigue?"

She thought about it, then nodded.

"Due to all the dueling or due to Joey's friends?"

For a minute, she only blinked at him, then turned her gaze sadly to the floor. Her silent confession confirmed the truth of the latter.

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked gently.

Serenity bit her lower lip, trying to keep it from trembling. But while she was caught up with that, her eyes filled with tears and the little bastards siezed the oppurtunity to slip down her face.

"Don't cry!" Bakura exclaimed, resting a hand on her shoulder, clearly upset by her distress. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything."

Serenity sniffled, soft sobs erupting from within her as she struggled to calm down. "I-i-it's not y-you," she choked. "I...I just don't feel like I fit in...with J-Joey's friends..." She hiccuped, cutely in his ears.

"Serenity," Bakura whispered, taking her hands in his. She shivered slightly, his skin not as warm as she first thought. "I know how you feel. I, too, do not feel welcomed in Yugi's group. Yes, they are nice, and there for me, but they also treat me with caution. They fear the spirit of the Millennium Ring, the dark spirit that dwells within me."

Serenity stared at him, unsure of what to say. "I...I don't believe in supernatural stuff like that, Bakura," she said softly.

Bakura leaned in close to her, his eyes seemingly darker, his hair looking raised a bit.

"You should," he breathed deeply, his voice deep and husky.

Then kissed her.

Her breath hitched in her throat upon feeling Bakura's icy lips against her mouth. It was also rougher than she expected, not the gentle shyness of Bakura. She tried to push him away, and surprisingly, he obliged with no resistance. "What's wrong, Serenity?" he asked gently.

It was then Serenity noticed how different Bakura looked. His eyes were much darker, almost black, and strands of snowy hair had lifted like a pair of horns, like demonic rabbit ears. He just seemed more sinister, more mysterious, more...irresistable.

"This," she explained, her voice uncertain. "It...it's wrong..."

"Why? Afraid of your brother's disapproval?"

"...N-no..." she admitted honestly. She no longer cared what Joey thought of her.

He leaned in closer, his horned hair even more conspicuous, near-black eyes boring into hers, into her soul. "Then...are you afraid of me?"

She swallowed hard. His voice, that creepy yet sexy voice, the same one he used when he dueled Yugi. "Y-yes..." she admitted shamefully.

Bakura chuckled, a low, dark laugh as he pulled her into his arms. "Don't be afraid, beautiful Serenity," he assured her. "I'll be very...gentle...heh heh heh..."

With a low growl, he drew her into another kiss, rough and deep, and Serenity found herself groaning longingly despite any sense of morality she possessed. The caress was rather painful, but it was an erotic kind of pain, almost arousing. She gasped from the ferocity of it all, and Bakura used that split second to plunge his tongue into that hot mouth. Exploring the recesses, he tasted her mercilessly as he lifted them both to stand on their knees upon the bed, and soon enough, his hands had found her ass. He fondled the small muscles and began grinding his hips against hers, grunting when she wrapped her arms around his shoulders to pull him closer.

Bakura pulled away, the dark spirit of the Ring eyeing her intensely. "This is what happens when you try to play with dark spirits, little girl. But I'll be nice and give you three seconds to get as far away from this room as you humanly can. Otherwise, I'm going to rip through your innocent virginity. It's gonna be rough, and it's gonna hurt like hell. And by the time I'm done, you'll be bloody and broken. Remember...three seconds. Time start."

But Serenity didn't move. She didn't WANT to move. Normally, she would be appalled, terrified out of her mind at his threats. But now, coming from him, it just sounded so fucking hot! She was so aroused, her panties felt soaked. Serenity wanted, she CRAVED, that pain the dark spirit was promising her.

Too hell with the innocent virgin!

Crossing her arms, Serenity grasped the edges of her shirt and pulled it over her head. Her bra followed, and the spirit leered hungrily at her bare breasts. Without a moment's hesitation, his hands began to fondle the creamy mounds, squeezing them tightly. "Well, well, well..." he chuckled lowly. "Looks like the little girl wants to play with the dark spirit."

He pounced on her then, his teeth literally sinking into one of her nipples. Blood flowed into his mouth, and he sucked greedily, drinking in the coppery essence, groaning as the thick, bittersweet heat scalded his throat. Serenity moaned loudly, clutching the white hair. The pain was intense, yet erotically so. He was cold, yet her body was on fire.

The spirit lifted his head, and she could see the crimson trails dripping from his mouth, reflecting darkly against his pale skin. He smirked, letting his tongue seductively lick his chin. "Mmmm..." he breathed. "Virgin blood is always the sweetest." He dipped his head again, rolling his tongue along the bloody nipple, lapping up the sweet, sweet source of her life.

As he nursed, the spirit used his hands to forcefully and almost literally rip her shorts off. He slipped his hand through her panties and, with a sharp nail, cut her inner thigh, create a wound at the small gathering of skin where her right leg and vagina met. She gave a small cry as she felt her blood rush in a maddening race to the cut.

The spirit of the Ring sat back and slowly pulled her panties until they joined the rest of her abadoned clothes on the floor. It coule be noted how unfair the situation was, the fact that he was fully clothed and she was completely naked. Well, mutual gratification had not been part of the agreement.

Yami Bakura lifted Serenity's legs, placing one on each of his shoulders. He grinned psychotically, the scent of blood and her sex making him harder than he already was.

That's pretty damn hard.

Leering at her more, the spirit pressed his lips against the wound so close to the core of her being, slowly lapping the blood flowing down the flesh. It was too sweet, far too sweet. He shuddered and groaned, long and loud.

Meanwhile, Serenity writhed beneath him, her mind a mushy mass of helplessness. "Bakura!" she exclaimed. "Bakura! Oh! Bakura...!"

He smirked. "Do you like this, little girl?" he sneered. "Either you are more numb-minded than I first thought, or you are not as weak as my other playmates."

She didn't understand his words. Nor did she care.

His snide grin grew even snider. "Let's see how even sweet the blood of a virgin's pussy tastes, eh?" Not giving Serenity a chance to reply, he clamped his mouth against her wet sex, so warm, so wet and ALL for him. He bit her hard, sinking his canines deep into the velvet folds. Again, blood filled his mouth, sweeter and more intoxicating than anything he had ever tasted.

"B-BAKURA!" she screamed, thrusting her hips upward, wanting him closer, wanting him INSIDE her.

The spirit growled loudly, aout to burst as he drank her blood and rubbed his face in that hot, crimson pussy. Serenity was going crazy. But he didn't want that. No, he wanted her INSANE. He wanted her completely seperate from her mind, utterly broken from reality.

And he knew just what to do to get her there, too.

Serenity half opened her eyes to see a dark purple fog surrounding the bed, blocking everything from her view. She felt lightheaded, dizzy, hot...

"B-Bakura..."

"Mmmm...?"

She slowly moved against his teasing mouth. "Where...are we?"

Serenity could feel the psychotic grin forming against his lips. "Enjoy it, little girl. We're in the Shadow Realm."

"Huh?" She could barely hear him. Voices began whispering in her ears, erotic, breathless, lusty voices turning her on over and over again.

Suddenly, Yami Bakura was on top of her, somehow having lost his own clothes along the way. "I'm going to fuck you now, Serenity," he hissed softly. "I'm going to fuck you so hard, you'll never forget it. You'll dream of me forever. And all you'll dream is this moment. And you'll scream out my name in the dark night. And you'll be deemed insane."

He cackled louldy, using his knees to spread her legs wide. Then, a loud scream tore through her throat when the spirit of the Ring drove his huge, swelling erection deep inside of her. Damn! Just that simple move nearly caused him to orgasm. Throwing his head back, Yami Bakura thrusted into that tight body as hard and as fast as his hips would allow. The scent of blood and precum infuriated his lust, and suddenly he didn't know whether he was the seducer or the seduced.

Serenity's screams of agony soon turned into pleasure-filled mews as her nails dug into his shoulders, the voices of the Shadow Realm continuing to talk dirty to her in their whispery, indecipherable mummers. Breathing heavily, Yami Bakura raised himself on his hands, and as if on a mental command, Serenity wrapped her legs around his waist. He gave a soft cry as he was plunged even deeper into her. Holy Ra, but she was so sweet, so hot, so tight!

"Serenity!" he gasped, his body esscalating to heights NONE of his previous playmates had taken him. This was getting dangerous. Too dangerous even for him. He was enjoying this far too much. She was too good. He would keep coming after her. Until he grew completely dependent on her. And who knows where these strange, unwanted emotions would lead him by that time.

He had to stop. He had to stop NOW.

Be he couldn't. Even if he actually wanted to.

It was too good.

It felt too fucking good.

"Serenity!" he found himself screaming, pounding into her mercilessly, his speed a maddened frenzie, yet her hips still had the strength to meet his, thrust for thrust. "Serenity! It's...it's so good!!! Ah...ah...! Serenity! SERENITY!!"

No one had ever made him scream before.

No one.

They reached their climax together, bodies rocking in one huge, violent, bloody orgasm.

Then all was still.

Save the mists of the Shadow Realm that rolled over their sweaty, bleeding bodies. Slowly, Serenity opened her eyes. "Bakura..." she breathed.

"Shhh..." the spirit whispered, placing a long, pale finger on her lips. "Sleep. Playing with dark spirits can be exhausting." He could feel the Shadow Realm taking its toll on her mind.

With a sigh, Serenity closed her eyes as the spirit of the Millennium Ring began kissing her throat. Ah, yes. The silence. Even more beautiful than she last left it. She fell asleep, nestled in its embrace, nothing existing save Yami Bakura sucking gently on her bleeding throat...

***

When Serenity awoke, she was on a chair in Mai's room. She looked around in confusion. Hadn't she been in Bakura's room? And where was Bakura now?

She could barely remember the events that had taken place between her and Bakura earlier. The details were scant and fuzzy. And the only pain her body experienced was the muscle cramps due to her uncomfortable position on the chair.

With a soft gasp, she got up and ran to the nearest bathroom. She stripped down to nothing to examine herself. She checked her neck, her breasts, even between her legs.

Nothing. No wound. Not even so much as the faintest of bloodmarks.

It all couldn't have been just a dream?

Could it...?

***

Completely under Marik's mind control, Tea Gardner slipped into Bakura's room to return the Millennium Ring, placing it around his neck. With a yawn, the spirit awoke only to discover a nasty surprise on the bedsheets. It didn't take long for the spirit to figure out what happened, as the room still smelled thickly of blood and sex.

"Well, well, well, my hikari," Yami Bakura sneered, "lookie at the mess you made."
