Life
‘Yugi…….’ Whispered Yami into Yugi’s ear,
The smaller boy was holding onto Yami’s shirt, and had his face pressed against Yami’s well-toned chest. Yami hated seeing Yugi, his light, his soul mate, his friend, his love like this, Yami didn’t even know what had happened to Yugi.
*Flashback* Yami’s POV.
``I sit on the sofa waiting for my Aibou to come home as he has been out visiting friends, I have the house to myself as Yugi’s grandpa has gone on a trip for a few months. I here footsteps coming toward the door I stand up and what I see shocks me, Yugi comes inis iis in tears and he runs to our bedroom I follow him he sits on the bed, he has his arms wrapped around himself and I go up to him and sit next him, he flinches and looks into my eyes before he falls into my arms in sobs.``
*End Flashback*
Normal POV
Yami sighs as he tries to comfort Yugi, Yugi’s sobs are making his small body shake, shiver and tremble.
‘Yugi…….Please tell me what’s wrong’ again Yami whispered into Yugi’s ear but again got no reply.
\Yugi please answer me, in any way\ Yami tries to reach him through their mind link,
‘Y…Yami,’ came Yugi’s very weak little voice,
Yami looked down to be met by Yugi’s amethyst eyes, Yugi pushed himself up so that he was now eye level with Yami, He took a deep and went to say something but nothing came out.
‘It’s ok Yugi….’ Whispered Yami ‘take your time Aibou,’
Once again Yugi went to say something but nothing came. At this Yami pulled Yugi close for a loving hug, but as soon as their chests touched Yugi pulled back suddenly, Yami had a confused look upon his face.
\ what <\What> did I do aibou? What’s wrong Yugi?\
Yugi looked at Yami and then pointed to his own chest, Yami still slightly confused and not knowing what to expect, made Yugi lie back so he was lying down on the bed. He then proceeded to remove Yugi’s shirt to reveal Yugi’s chest.
Yami was horrified by what he saw, Yugi’s chest was almost black from the bruises that covered it, Yami placed one of his hands on Yugi’s chest and it hurt Yami to see as Yugi’s chest tensed up at the slight pressure.
Yami looked into Yugi’s eyes, which were once again filled with tears. Yami placed a hand on one of Yugi’s cheeks and whipped the tears away, he then lay down next to Yugi and put his lips by but not touching Yugi’s lips, Yugi closed the gap and their lips locked in a deep kiss, Yami then decided that it was time to find out what had happened to his little Yugi.
‘Yugi…’ Yami whispered,
Yugi sat up and looked into Yami’s deep crimson eyes,
‘Who did this to you aibou?’ asked Yami
Yugi gazed into Yami’s eyes and said ‘I…..it was K…..Kai…’ he took a deep breath ‘It was K…Kaiba,’
‘And what did he do to you?’ asked Yami without leaving Yugi’s eyes.
Yugi gave a huge sigh and lent against Yami’s chest, Yami ran his fingers through Yugi’s hair, Yugi sighed and said ‘He beat me with his hands and then he………he knocked me out and when I woke up I……I was chained to the wall, facing it, also I….I….I had no pants or boxers on,’
Yami squeezed Yugi very slightly and kissed his forehead and he could feel the emotions that were coming from Yugi. (Anger…Embarrassment…shame)
Yugi sat up and gazed into Yami’s eyes and continued ‘He then hit me with what I can only guess was a belt, he then got a hot poker and came up to me and placed it by my…….m…..m…..my…..’ Yami noticed that Yugi was blushing and he took one of Yugi’s hands in his own so Yugi would continue. ‘He put the poker my..…my…..member not touching just by it and he said if I ever went near Joey again he would do more then just threaten me’
Yami pulled Yugi into a loving embrace, and Yami’s shirt was wet from Yugi who was in sobs again, as the tears soaked Yami’s shirt his sobs shook his small frame.
//Yami..// Whispered Yugi through their mind link,
<\Yes> Yugi\
// Do you hate me?//
<\No> of I don’t Yugi, what would make you think that?\
//Because I’m a weakling, and I’m stupid and I..//
\Yugi….you are not weak or stupid, you’re the most courageous person I have ever met, and your very smart\
//Smart enough to get beaten up by Kaiba//
<\Look> Yugi… non of this is your fault, and as for Kaiba he is just heartless and cold\
Yugi just stared into Yami’s eyes and all was silent until Yami spoke.
‘Yugi…’ Yami whispered ‘ I know that your still frightened and in shock, but I really need to know how much damage he did to you’
Yugi got up and faced Yami his chest was covered in bruises and then he turned to show Yami his back and Yami couldn’t believe his eyes on Yugi’s back were three deep gashes which Kaiba must have done with the belt, Yami couldn’t believe that even Kaiba could be so cruel.
Yami got up and walked to Yugi and placed a hand on his shoulder. Yugi spun around and looked at Yami, Yami could feel his shame and embarrassment through their link. Yami then knelt down so he was eye level with Yugi and pulled him into a loving embrace. Yugi then pulled from Yami and walked toward the bedroom door. Yami thinking he had done something wrong looked upset.
‘Yami…’ said Yugi,
Yami lifted head and met Yugi’s eyes,
‘I am only going to the toilet,’ said Yugi
Yami gave both a physical and mental sigh of relief,
‘Oh, ok’ said Yami as he got up ‘I’m just going to go downstairs to gets something’ Yugi nodded and both exited the room.
When Yami came back up Yugi was sitting on the bed, Yami sat next to him and said ‘Yugi…those cuts on your back are going to need some cream on them and be patched up’
Yugi nodded and lay down on his front. Yami then took some cream and some patches out of a box and put some cream on one of his fingers.
‘Yugi…this is going to sting’ said Yami in a soft voice.
Then Yami began to rub the cream into Yugi’s cuts and as he did so he felt Yugi wince in pain, after he did that he put a patch over each cut.
‘Ok’ said Yami ‘All done’
At this Yugi rolled over so he was on his now patched up back.
‘Thank you,’ whispered Yugi as he gave a big yawn.
‘Go to sleep now Yugi,’ said Yami, Yugi suddenly looked up and looked slightly afraid,
‘Don’t worry, I am going to stay with you.’
Yugi gave a huge sigh of relief and moved over so he was on the side of the bed; Yami then lay down next to him. He looked into Yugi’s big amethyst eyes `` Gosh he could get lost in those eyes.`` Yami lowered himself and kissed Yugi on the forehead and wrapped his arms around him.
Yami was woken by a load noise, and then he was hit in the chest. He looked down to see Yugi wriggling, yelling and struggling in his sleep.
\Yugi….\ whispered Yami through their mind link, as he did not want to scare Yugi,
‘Yugi…’said Yami ‘Yugi wake up.’
At that moment Yugi’s eyes shot open and he starred at Yami for what seemed like an eternity, until he suddenly woke up and realized where he was and who he was really with, then as his eyes filled with tears he cuddled against Yami’s chest, Yami knew better then to ask what was wrong as he knew all to well, he had been back Kaiba. Yami’s pj top was now completely soaked by Yugi’s tears.
‘Shhhhhh….it’s ok Yugi’ reassured Yami as he ran his fingers through Yugi’s hair, ‘I’m here, it’s ok.’
Awhile-later Yugi had stopped crying but gave the odd hiccup, and then both Yugi and Yami fell asleep.
A week and a bit later Yami woke up on morning to find Yugi not by his side, Yami quickly got up to look for him and was relived to find him downstairs lying on the sofa. Yami went into the room and was nearly knocked down by Yugi who had got up and ran into Yami and gave him a big hug and Yami bent down and Yugi gave him a kiss,
‘Good morning to you too,’ said Yami before returning the kiss. ‘How do feel Aibou?’ asked Yami.
‘I feel great!’ Said Yugi as he hugged Yami even tighter.
‘Really…?’ asked Yami with a expression of concern on his face,
‘Yes’ answered Yugi as he looked up into Yami’s crimson eyes, ‘Look Yami I feel much better now honest, after all I have had you to help me through it and besides if Kaiba thinks that by doing what he did to me that it would ruin my life and love life then he can guess again,’ And with that he pulled Yami close for a deep passionate kiss.
