Disclaimer: I don’t own Yu-Gi-Oh…but I wish I could own the guys…^_~
Sharem: This is an experiment to see how a story could come out just writing it in two hours or less. I remember there was an author here who did the same thing and that person gave me the inspiration to do this. Unfortunately, I can’t remember who it was…*cries* If someone could tell me who, I would be grateful…^_^ Also, this is a one-shot…
Something Strange
A lone teen walked the streets of Domino, the sun setting in the darkening hue of the daylight sky turning to night. He turned his gaze upwards and smiled gently as he watched the gentle hues of the sunset caress his face. It was a rare time for the boy to be at peace with himself and the rest of the world. For no one knew of the boy’s dark secret, not even his closest of friends.
How could they know when the boy refuses to speak to anyone of his problems? He believed that he would be shunned by his very friends if they knew what he was…and who he was. Who was this boy? Sometimes, not even he knew but that was only during times of what he called senility. In truth, he was not a boy but something so much more…something that he knew that his friends would shy away from. What is this boy?
The boy ran a hand through his golden hair and sighed softly. He felt his stomach rumble and he knew that he was going to be ravenous later if he didn’t get a snack right now. He then noticed one of his favorite food haunts was just across the street so he ran across the street, somehow dodging the incoming traffic with ease and grace. The teen opened the door to the establishment and was greeted warmly by a burly looking man behind the counter.
“Hey there, Joey,” the man smiled, his face rather large. “Ya want yer usual?”
Joey Wheeler grinned and nodded. “But of course, Luigi…a double extra-large pizza with extra cheese and the works!”
The large, burly man known as Luigi laughed throatily as he called the order to one of his pizza chefs. He then turned his black eyes on the blonde boy. “So, Joey…have ya found what yer seeking yet?”
The teen shook his head. “No…I haven’t. What’s a demon prince to do if I can’t find a mate?”
Luigi chuckled as he motioned to the boy to sit down at a table near the window. “Ya know, Joey, mebbe ya should just calm down the search fer now. Ya don’t hafta have a mate until ya turn of age, ya know?”
“I know, Luigi…I know…but…I’m just so lonely right now. Yugi has Yami and Ryou has Bakura. Even Tristan has Duke,” Joey sighed softly, his ‘tough boy’ act dropping to reveal a lonely young man. His honey brown eyes seemed to radiate a sadness that permeated the guest area of the restaurant.
The burly owner stood up and looked at the blonde as his own ‘dumb’ act was dropped. “Joey, my Prince…your choice in mates does not have to reside in just other demons. Why don’t you look for a human companion?”
The demon prince closed his eyes tightly and sighed. “I don’t look for a human mate because that was what father had stipulated before he went on his business trip. The Great Lord,” that part was said in a sarcastic tone, “wanted his only heir to breed pureblood offspring.”
“So?” Luigi asked; his dark head tilted to one side like a dog.
Joey sighed. “I made an Oath, Luigi…I cannot break an Oath unless I wish death upon myself.”
Luigi winced and sighed as he understood. “I see…anyway, methinks yer pizza is done,” he replied, the ‘dumb’ act returning. “Hope ya find what ya want, Joey.” He then handed Joey a pizza box.
The blonde teen smiled as he took the pizza from his friend and left the restaurant, his mind still in a whirl of thoughts and loneliness. He continued to walk down the street and saw that he was at the entrance to the park he and his friends usually hang out. He smiled a small smile as he decided to spend the evening in the one place he felt at peace. He walked through the pathways with ease and confidence because he knew not many creatures would dare harm Joey Wheeler, otherwise known as Prince Katsuya Jounouchi, dog demon and heir to the Northern Lands [1].
Joey found the spot he was looking for…a hidden pond he mhe middle of the park that was covered by trees, bushes and long hanging vines. Just as he was settling down on the sandy bank of the pond, he heard quiet footsteps approach his location. He closed his eyes for a moment sniffed the air, smiling slightly as he recognized the scent.
“Ryou!” he called out. “I know you’re there so come on out!”
A bush near Joey rustled as another teen appeared. He was slender with haunting brown eyes and beautiful silvery hair. The blonde held his breath for a moment as the last rays of the sun glinted gently off of the youth’s silver hair, causing Ryou to glow angelically.
“Beautiful,” Joey whispered as he finally was able to breath. He then started speaking in a normal tone, his honey brown eyes never leaving Ryou’s. “So, how are you and Bakura doing? Getting along well, I hope.”
Ryou sighed as he stepped up to the young demon and sat on the sandy ground next to the blonde. “No…not really. He told me to get out of the house and never come back…”
The teenaged demon’s eyes went wide for a moment and cautiously placed a hand on the silver-haired angel’s shoulder gently. “Why would he do something like that?” he asked. “I thought that the two of you loved each other.”
A tear found its way down Ryou’s cheek as the boy sighed. “I do love him…but I told him that I also love someone else.” He then turned his face to look directly into Joey’s eyes. “I told him that I also love you.”
Joey sputtered for a moment and stared into eyes that seem to bore into his very soul. “You…you…you love me?” he finally managed to ask, his voice cracking a bit.
The silver-haired teen smiled and nodded slowly as he wiped the tear from his face. “Yes…I do, Prince Jounouchi Katsuya.”
This last statement hit the blonde like a ton of bricks. He never told any of his friends that he was a dog demon, let alone one of royal blood. “What?!? How did you know?”
Ryou kept smiling gently at Joey as he shyly reached out to touch the blonde’s soft cheek. “I know many things, Joey…And I’ll tell you more about myself later. But first…I want to get to know you better, my lord…”
Before Joey could say anything, he was knocked to the ground with Ryou on top of him. The boy’s lips locked onto the blonde’s passionately, but shyly. He let his silver angel kiss him for a couple of minutes before rolling the boy over, the blonde demon on top of the angel.
“Are you sure about this, Ryou?” Joey asked huskily, his honey brown eyes turning a golden color as one of his hands cupped the silver angel’s chin gently.
“Joey, I have never been surer about anything in my life,” Ryou answered, his brown eyes sparkling. “I might have lost Bakura, but I have you and all I need is you…”
Joey groaned as he lowered his lips and began kissing Ryou with more lust and passion than he ever thought possible. He licked the silver teen’s lips with his tongue, asking for permission to enter. When the mouth opened, the demon prince plunged his tongue into his new lover’s sweet depths, moaning as he tasted the sweetness that was Ryou. He felt the silver teen’s body relax and the other boy began to use his own tongue to taste his prince.
This made Joey groan with a heat that began in his belly and ran straight down to his groin. “Ryou…” he gasped as he broke off the kiss so he could look into his lover’s eyes. “If we don’t stop now…I won’t be able to stop…”
“I don’t want you to stop,” Ryou whispered softly, his eyes growing dark with lust and love. Sharem: *chuckles* This wasn’t exactly what I had in mind, but I think it turned out okay for two hours work. I got the idea for Joey ending up with Ryou from YamiRynEnjeru…^_^ She’s pretty cool…^_^ I just hope it's okay since this is my first lemon...^_^;; *sweatdrops*
[1] – It was done this way for a possible sequel that would have an Inuyasha crossover…^_^ So, if anyone wants a sequel, please review…^_^ If there aren’t any reviews, I’ll still put one up, but only after my other stories are finished. And that may take awhile…^_^;; *sweatdrops*
