@Mizuchan24: I think Jono's son was killed the same day as Jono, including the rest of the Hikari's children. I'm going to do the Yami's point of view in this chapter, since I've done the Hikari's for the last few chapters. I am going to put Ryou's and Malik's dreams in the next chapter. I had planned on putting their dreams in the last chapter, but I was writing it late last night and got tired.
@maea: I had planned that at least one of the Hikari's would remember their past, and Joey seemed to be the best choice. I decided that Ryou needed to be different than Yugi and the others, so he can remember some, but not other things. Sure, I guess, one question, what is pm?
The Pharoah and Prince's Lover chapter 9:
After a few hours, Seth, Seto, Atemu, Yami, Akefia, Bakura, and Marik left the building, avoiding questions from the press as they got into the car. Silence filled the car, Yami still wasn't talking to anyone, not even his own brother. As the car pulled away from Kaiba Corp. , Marik looked at everyone in the car, seeing that Atemu was upset that his twin wasn't talking to him, Akefia and Bakura looking like they were about to fall asleep in the car, and Seth and Seto looked tired and frustrated from all the work they had done that morning. He got an idea and smirked slightly before clearing his throat to get everyone's attention. "Hey, why don't we go to a club tonight? It will take our minds off work and we'll get to have some fun." he said and everyone looked at each other, looking like they were going to say no, but after a moment, everyone nodding.
"Ok, Marik, we'll go tonight, be ready by 7 you guys." Seth said, and everyone nodded in agreement. When the car pulled up to the apartment complex, Atemu, Yami, Akefia, Bakura and Marik got out of the car and went into the complex, going up to their apartments. Atemu and Yami were still silent as they got to their apartment, Atemu wanting to say something but knowing Yami probably wouldn't listen. It had been like this while they were at work, they would work in silence and Yami wouldn't say anything to him unless it was something for work. Atemu pulled out some clothes he would wear for tonight before pulling out some comfortable clothes to wear while he waited for later on tonight. He looked at Yami, seeing him doing the same but still not talking. He sighed before going into the bathroom, putting his clothes on the toilet before turning on the water to warm up and taking off his clothes.
As he got into the shower, Atemu let the water soak him and sighed. He wondered how he was going to apologize to Yami, knowing he had been insensitive to his twin's feelings and hoped that Yami would be able to forgive him. As he stood there, he heard the door to the bathroom open and close. He blinked and looked in shock as he saw the curtain being moved aside and Yami standing there naked. Without a word, Yami got into the shower and stared at his twin for a moment before hugging him and Atemu hesitantly hugging his brother back. They stood there like that for a while, both of them getting soaked under the stream of water before Atemu heard Yami speak. "I know you didn't mean to upset me earlier, and I know you are only asking because you miss Heba as much as I do, but everyone is still getting used to the idea of them being gone. We all know it's been years, but.... it still hurts since it wasn't just our own Hikari's but also our children. The mage took them away from us and we've had to learn how to deal with this curse along with learning how to live without them. Just..... try to be more sensitive to the others next time, ok?" he asked and Atemu nodded. "I will, so does this mean I'm forgiven?" he asked and Yami smiled, chuckling and nodding. "Yes, your forgiven." he said.
After a while, they both washed each other before getting out, putting on the some clothes and watched some tv together. When it was almost time to go, they both changed their clothes and went downstairs. When they got to the others, Akefia, Bakura, and Marik grinned as they saw that Yami had forgiven his twin. When the usual car pulled up at the front, everyone got in and greeted Seth and Seto, seeing them in casual clothes, though not too casual like the others. Akefia and Bakura had on some skinny jeans and t-shirts, while Marik had put on some black leather pants and a fitted t-shirt. Atemu and Yami had gone all black, with black leather pants and black sleeveless shirts, and matching spiked wrists bands and spiked collars.
Soon enough, the car pulled up to the club and everyone got out, the people who were waiting in line staring and gaping at them. They ignored it and somehow Seth was able to get them in. As they walked in, everything went silent and it was kind of awkward, trying to ignore the stares as they looked around for a table and sat down once they found one. As everything started up again, they were able to order their drinks as they watched people around them. Marik was having fun watching the people dancing while trying not to stare, though others were blatantly staring at them, some looking like they were trying to imagine what was in their pants.
Marik noticed someone walking across the club and tried to get a good look at the person, gasping and his eyes widening in surprise, making the others look at him funny. He pinched himself to see if he was dreaming and even had Bakura hit him once, before watching the person again. He looked exactly the same as in the past, with his long, straight platinum hair and slight build, and those beautiful wide lavender eyes he loved so much. He was alive, and he was here!!! He was about to get up and follow his Hikari, when he felt someone grab him and he looked, seeing Akefia looking at him curiously. He was about to tell him to let him go and looked back to where he had seen his HIkari, and blinked, seeing he was gone already and he slumped back into his seat. They were all still looking at Marik curiously and he sighed, telling them who he saw. They all looked shocked and looked around the club, to see if they could find any of their Hikari's, but they couldn't find them.
After an hour or so of staying in the club, they left and headed back home. Marik was currently being held up by Akefia and Bakura, Marik having drunk a lot of alcohol to try not to think of his Hikari he had seen earlier. He had been going on and on about how he was going to go find his Hikari and what he was going to do to him when he found him, which sometimes made the others turn green and almost threw up what they had in their stomachs, when they heard something that broke their hearts. "A-And you know w-what? When we're together again, I'm gonna get him pregnant again and w-we'll finally have the family we always wanted." Marik mumbled, making all of their hearts sink.
When they were dropped off at the apartments, Akefia and Bakura carried Marik to his apartment while Atemu and Yami went back to their own apartment. When the door had closed and everything was quiet, Atemu heard quiet sobs fill the room and went over to Yami, hugging him from behind and just holding his twin, knowing how he felt and missing the son they never had. He saw what was in Yami's hands and sighed, pulling it out of his grip and looking at the photo. Seth had made it for all of them when they had lost their Hikari's, to remind them of what had been for them. It was a picture of all their children and the Hikari's, having been made from shadow magic from a memory they all had. Seth's, Seto's, and Jono's son was in Jono's arms, smiling widely and looking like he was giggling as Jono was kissing his cheek. Heba was standing next to Dakarai, both of them looking very pregnant, while two small toddlers stood next to Dakarai. One was a girl, and the other a boy, but both had white hair and dark chocolate eyes. They were twins and were Akefia and Bakura's children, and they were both smiling, happy to be with their 'mother'. Nemu was standing beside Jono, showing off his own stomach that was still small, but showed a bump that he was pregnant. It was the first child Marik and Nemu would have and they were both excited about it.
Seth had made sure that the photo would be able to last for a long time, and Atemu sighed, putting the picture down beside him as he continued to hug his twin. They didn't say a word and after a while, they both undressed and got ready for bed. When the lights had been turned off and they were both in bed, Atemu held his brother close as he closed his eyes to sleep.
