What a Feeling
Chapter 9: What a Feeling
Later that night Joey sat thinking. She didn’t get something, if it was Yami that kissed her and took her breath away, why was Seto the only one on her mind. Every time Seto was around her, she found herself being very clingy to Yami, being extra flirtatious, and just trying to be down right cute.
“Oh, I wonder if love really is blind…” Joey asked herself really bored, before her eyes widened. “Oh, No! I did not just say that. Did I? No, I can’t be, I just can’t be. Can I? This isn’t possible, could I really be in love… With Seto Kaiba.” Joey paused thinking again, proving that Joey really shouldn’t think.
“Alright, when ever Seto is around I act jetty and I have always hated his girlfriend, and I can’t even say his name without smiling… Ah… Oh God! I’m head over heels, in love with Seto Kaiba. The man who always makes my life a living hell as a male. Ok, I’ll just keep it to myself. No one will ever know, right?”
She wasn’t right, the fact Joey was in love was obvious to her friends, the thing was they all thought she was in love with Yami not Seto. Surprisingly the next day they were all really nice and pretended nothing was wrong, they even encouraged her, well that is all her friends except for one person.
For some reason Yugi refused to even speak to Joey and it was really starting to get to Joey but, unfortunately she had to worry about something else.
As a graduation requirement the class had decided to put on a show of all their talents and they wanted her sing a song called Buddha’s Delight to Yami. They also had a very showy little outfit for her to wear that she was less than enthused about.
