In today's chapter, we get a little more action between Jou and his mom. Don't worry, Jou's
still in school and works at La Mer, but this fic isn't about that. Is it? Anyways, hope you

Chapter 9: Arguments

August 16th. Six months, two days. I'm still on cloud 99. Seto and I are still closer than
skin to flesh. Our relationship is truly heating up and I love being on fire!

Really, since Seto and I started dating, I haven't been at home too much and believe me,
okaa-san isn't crazy about that.

The only reason I'm at home today is becase Seto is out of town on a business trip.

"I'm surprised to see you here Jou." mom says as she enters into my bedroom.

"Yea. Me too." I say pausing my game on my GBA.

"What are you playing?"

"Duel Monsters Championship."

"Are you the champion yet?"

"Nope. I just got the game a week ago."

What is she up to? Usually okaa-san doesn't talk to me like this unless she wants something.

"What do you want okaa-san?"

"Do I have to want something to see what my son is doing?"

It wouldn't be you if you didn't.

"Look, Jou, it's just we're growing apart. Especially since you started dating Seto. You're
only 19 and he's 25. Couldn't he find someone closer to his age?"

What...did...she say?!

"Okaa-san! Does age really matter?! I'm in love with him and you should be happy
for me!"

"I am."

"You were older than dad when you conceived me and you were still married to Shizuka's
dad."

"You look here! That has nothing to do with what we're talking about!"

"You always liked Shizuka better. She always got treated better than you treat me! I
watched growing up how she used to have late curfews, and she could go with her friends
without you calling every 10 minutes to see where she is!"

"Katsuya Jounouchi! I do not do that!"

"Yes you did! That night I stayed with Seto, you didn't stop ringing my phone and his! It was
so embarassing! You even told me that obaa-san used to let you stay out until the next morning
and you had Shizuka! I don't have kids, I don't have any responsibility except to school and
to Seto!"

"It's hard Katsuya! Don't you know that!"

"Hard how?! Are you ashamed that your only son is gay?! Do you know how hard it is on
me?! I get teased each and every day because of that! Don't you know how hard it was when
I finally told you?! I had been hiding that from you for 6 years!"

"Now you wait a minute Katsuya! I raised you and Shizuka literally from nothing! I made
sure that the two of you always had necessities for everyday life! You don't know the
sacrifices I made to raise you and Shizuka!"

"No one told you to go and cheat on your husband to get me. I never asked to be here!"

"Hush up."

Uh oh... Did I say the wrong thing? It's the truth though...

"You have changed since you and Seto started dating. It's like I don't even have a son
anymore."

"A..."

"I don't want to hear it!" she interrupts me. "I don't want you to talk to him again!"

No...

"What?! Why?! You can't do that!!"

"Give me your cell phone and your keys. When you learn to respect me as your mother,
then that's when I will return these to you!"

I reluctantly hand her my phone and car keys...

She can't stop me from seeing Seto. She won't keep me from him!

She leaves my room, trying to take my life from me...but she can't have it.

I collapse on my bed, crying, mad, hurt, sad...

...

August 17th. I went to school and then straight to work. When I clock in, Mokuba
runs to me.

"What happened between you and Seto?!" he asks.

"Okaa-san. We got into it and she told Seto to not call me anymore."

"What!! Are you lying?!"

I shake my head.

Since that happened, I've been locked in my room. I haven't eaten since yesterday, but I'm
not hungry. No appetite.

"She was saying since I started dating Seto, I've changed."

"Do you want me to call him here?"

"No...I'm not supposed to see him."

"Are you for real Jou?! Your mom doesn't have 24/7 survellance on you. She can't stop him
from coming here to La Mer."

Mokuba suddenly runs off and I wait on my tables.

I'm glad we've been slow tonight. I don't think I can take more of this right now.

"Ok we're closed!" Mokuba says.

Did I forget to say he's a manager now?

"Oh, Jou, you have one more customer at your table."

"Didn't you just say we were closed...?"

He walks off towards the office and I walk out to the dining room. I see one person at my
table.

"Welcome to La Mer Restaurant. My name is Jounouchi Katsuya. What would you like to
drink?" I say, knowing who the person is.

"I'll take one cocktail with a spash of Katsuya." the person says turning around.

"Coming right up." I reply.

"Don't frown, you have a wonderful smile Katsuya." Seto says to me.

I kneel down and we kiss.

"What happened with you and your mom?"

"We got into an argument. She blamed it all on you and now I'm not allowed to talk to you."

"Oh no, we're breaking the rules. Where's your car? I didn't see it parked outside."

"She has it. She took my keys because she thinks that I'll sneak to see you."

"Well, this isn't well. Listen. I'll lay low for a while until the smoke clears between you and
your mom. Don't worry, I can wait for you. I love you."

"I love you too Seto. I have to go so I can finish cleaning."

"Ok. See you." he says standing and leaving.

I finish my cleaning in record time and wait for my mom to come.

The end of another chapter is upon us! :( But there's more to come! :) The next chapter will
deal with Kaiba's past...it'll get kinda kinky, very freaky, and somewhat controversial.
