Chapter 9: Confrontation I

Setsuya...

'Onii-chan, I combined your name and Kaiba-kun's name. You two are very important to
me as my brothers.'

He's so cute. His eyes, they have the determination of Seto's.

I lied to Shizuka...I'm going to Malik's or Ryou's, but not just yet. I have someone to
talk to.

I doubt it'll end with talking.

School...second half... BLAH! I can't wait until May!

"Katsu-chan?" I hear a familar voice say from behind.

I turn around to see Seto standing behind me.

"Hey. How are you?" I ask picking up my math book.

"I'm fine. How are you?"

Is he ok?

"I'm great. Thanks for asking. So, do you need anything?"

Why does he have that omnious look in his eyes? I mean, is he up to something?!

Or is that nerves... Seto Kaiba would be the last person I'd expect to show nerves...in
public.

I shut my locker and motion for him to follow me. We go into the restroom. Luckily, it's
empty.

"Seto are you really ok? You look like there's something wrong." I ask.

Now he's looking at his feet. Or mine... Don't tell me I've turned him into a softie!

"Do you...like me?"

What. Is this is what the looks and attitude is about?! No. It has to be more than that.

"Of course I do. We're friends Seto." I say to him. Hopefully this will start to make some
sense later on today.

"Oh. So what happened over the holidays mean nothing?"

Eh?! Yea, we've sorta been at it a lot. Physically. Sexually. Mainly Seto giving me the
head jobs of my life! I haven't returned the favor...

Could it be that?

"It meant everything to me to spend that time with you, Seto. I enjoyed it and hopefully
it's the start of many more years like that."

"Now that we're back in school, you want to act like nothing ever happened between
us?"

"Seto, no. I don't want it to be that way. You don't understand my other friends...I don't
know what they would say if they knew the truth between us."

"Are you ashamed?"

I stand and look at him. I want to say 'no', but 'yes' is on the tip of my tongue. For them
to learn that I'm sexually active with another male...but, I want them to know how happy
I am with him.

"That's ok. I know my answer." Seto says as he turns towards the exit. "If you're ashamed
of what others would say about us...then you're ashamed of us. I thought we really had
something going Katsu-chan. I thought that you were the one."

He exits from the bathroom, leaving me alone. I don't know what to say or do. I love
Seto with all of my heart, yet I'm too ashamed to voice it with my mouth.

Damn Katsuya!! You idiot!!

I go back to Domino Court. That bastard! Could have been there for the birth of his
son!

*knock knock*

The door opens, revealing Otogi on the other side.

"What do you want now?"

"I know Honda's gone now and I can talk to you."

"That's only if I want to listen to you."

"Look, you are a father now! Step up and accept your responsibility!"

"That was only a one night stand. Shizuka's a whore anyways. She used to try to
fuck Honda and Kaiba."

I hold my peace as the bastard talks shit about my sister.

"I don't care. You are the father and you know it Otogi!"

He looks at me and laughs.

If I only knew what Shizuka had done. I would have stopped her. I didn't find out
that she was pregnant until about 5 months when she started to show. Of course mom
knew and didn't want to tell me, knowing how I would react.

But, when I found out it was Otogi...Otogi was the father... I went on a nice rampage
through Kaiba Manor...lasted for about 30 seconds before Seto pinned me to the floor.

'Shizuka!! What the fuck?! Why in the hell did you do him?! I could have told you he's
a bastard!'
'Calm down Katsu-chan.'
'No! I won't! My damn sister is pregnant....5 months pregnant by Otogi!!'
'Shhh, that isn't such a bad thing! Look, you're going to be an uncle. Shizuka needs
all your support right now.'
'Fuck Seto! Otogi's fucking with Honda!'
'What...'
'Since Otogi transferred to Domino High School, he and Honda have been fucking
around!'
'Isn't Honda married?!'
'Yea. But, I can't believe she did him!'
*Jou breaks a mirror and punches the wall....*
J*ust before Jou can break another mirror or body part...Kaiba grabs Jou from behind
and throws him to the floor and pins him.*
'Let me up! Let me go Seto! Dammit let me go!'
'No. You listen to me. Shizuka is a grown woman. She's 25 now! You have to let your
overprotective bond over her loose! You will not be able to be there every time she
makes a mistake or her hormones rise.'
'Get off of me and let me go Seto before I have to hurt you!'
'You don't have the strength to tear a sheet of wet paper right now. Calm down. I
don't want you to go and do something stupid. I don't want you to go to jail or get
hurt.'
'I don't care right now. I just don't care.'
'Yes. You do. More than you're thinking right now, you care more about your
life and Shizuka's baby more than anything. I want you to think logically. When that
happens, I'll think about letting you up.'
'You know when I said I'll hurt you. It wasn't in a fight.'
'Really...'
'Really.'

"Get the hell away from my home Jounouchi."

"The least thing you could do is to go and see your son! Be a part of his life! You and
Shizuka don't have to talk or get along. I just want you to be a part of your child's
life!"

"So, now you're pinning fatherhood on me? He may not be mine. Shizuka did used to
fuck around a lot in college and with a lot of employees at Black Crown."

"Don't talk shit about my sister."

"What was her stripper name again? Hmmm...Red Fire? She gives the best head jobs!"

Before I know it, my hands are clenched tightly around his neck and his feet are dangling
about a foot in the air.

'Calm down. I don't want you to go and do something stupid.'

Seto...

I release my grip on him and he collapses to his knees. I kick him in the face and leave.
