Chapter 8
Mokuba birthday and goodbye to a close friend

Five months have past, and it’s been great for me. Mars and I have been going out for the past four and a half months. Since I got the guts to say that we were a couple, Gozaburo hasn’t hit or touched me. I have a feeling that he has been hitting Seto again, but Seto wouldn’t tell me. Mokuba was turning nine that day, in two weeks Seto would be fourteen, and in one mouth I was going to be thirteen.

Mokuba ran around with his friends. I gently laughed as they tried to tag Mokuba. Mars leaned on me. I gently smiled and did a fake yawn, wrapping my arms around her. She gently giggled. It worked out ok. Mokuba had become good friends with Mars' little brother. Mars got to come with me a lot, since Nick played with Mokuba.

"Ki's it, Ki's it," Mokuba and his friend called out.

"I’m what?" I said in a gentle voice.

"You're it" Mars said as she jumped up, joining in the game.

"Hey, that's not fair." I yelped. I gently ran after Mars and the boys. I quickly caught Mars and held her close.

"I think you're it, now" I whispered in her ear. She gently laughed. Somehow, I had got back to being it.

Seto came out from hiding indoors most of the day. I grinned evilly. "Seto!" I said, jumping on my big brother.

Seto looked at me shock, after we had fallen to the ground. "What the?" He manged to get out

"You're it" I mumbled, and then ran for it. After a couple of minutes of tags backs, I was pulled into some bushes.

"Hey there." Mars whispered. I gently grinned and lightly kissed her. She gently sat down, pulling me with her. "Ki, can I ask you something?" She whispered. I gently nodded. She turned a deep red as said her question. "When we're the right ages, I want you to be my first, so we'll always be together," she whispered. I just about fell over. Wait, I did fall back.

"Me." I whispered.

Mars turned even redder. "I love you, Ki Kaiba." She whispered.
I gently smiled, kissing her. "And I love you too, Maria Shonen." I whispered. ‘One day, Mrs. Kaiba.’ I thought to myself, and laugh at myself. ‘Could we make it that long.? Well, I’m not just waiting for what she just said. She cares for me, and she knows that Gozaburo has beaten Seto and me. I didn’t tell her about the night in the library, that's going to my secret that I’ll take to the grave.’ I grd qud quietly as we came out of the bush. I didn’t notice Gozaburo standing nearby, listening to Mars and me.

The day went by too fast for me. Way too fast for me. Mars gently kissed me, and then took her little brother's hand and started home. Nothing would ever break us apart.

I was going up the outside stairs when a noise and then a scream caused me to jerk up and look back to the road. Seto came out next to me. His eyes were opened wide. "That was a gun shot," Setosperspered.

I took off at a run. ‘Please, no. Please, no, don’t be.’ I kept saying in my head as I came to where the people were circled.

I was grabbed by Gozaburo. "I wouldn’t," He whispered. That's when I saw Mars' little brother in tears, crying.

"No!" I yelled, getting away from Gozaburo and pushing though the people. I froze, seeing Mars on the ground, bleeding.

"NO! Mars..." I cried and quickly got to her side. Tears ran down her face. I gently took her in my arms as I cried. "Hold on, Maria" I whispered.

Maria gently took my hand and held it tightly. "I… love you," she whispered. I gently smiled at her though my tears.

‘She is going to be ok, right?’ I asked myself. "I love you too" I whispered though my tears. I cried even harder as her light hand became limp and her eyes closed. "Maria, Maria, please don’t leave me alone." I whimpered as I rocked with her. It took both Seto and a police officer to get me to let go. I turned to Seto and hid my face in his chest.

"Please, just say this is a nightmare?" I whimpered into his shirt. Seto held me close. Mokuba had been holding Nick until his parents came. Mokuba then ran over to me, and held me by the side. Though my tears I could see Gozaburo. His face hurt. Not from Maria's death, but from my sadness.

I found out that it was a drive-by shooting, and Maria just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. But the guy they had caught looked familiar. I had seen him around Kaiba Corp. before, but I threw it out of my head. I was in too much pain.

Gozaburo sat in the family room, reading. He had plans for later, but he was waiting until his favorite had calmed down. He looked up when I entered the room. I didn't say anything, but walked and bent down, wrapping my small arms around Gozaburo's shoulders. Gozaburo, shocked, turned towards me. Gozaburo could see how much crying I had been doing from my red eyes. He gently grinned.

I gently put a small hand on Gozaburo cheek, I leaned closer and, tilting his head slightly, I kissed him. Gozaburo noted dazedly that I tasted sweet, and he felt warm pressed so tightly against me. It was unreal for him to have me come to him. He had never believed that I would be making the moves. Gozaburo pulled away, staring at me quietly.

"Don’t be playing games with me boy." He said as he ran one hand through my hair.
I quietly looked at him. "Please, take the pain away," I whispered. I felt so lost. It had been so painful losing Maria.

Gozaburo raised his eyes. He felt himself hardening as he gazed at my sweet face. ‘I didn’t think it was going to be this nice.’ Gozaburo thought quietly. I gently kissed Gozaburo again, slipping my small hands into the taller man's shirt. Gozaburo kissed me back forcefully. "I want you..." Gozaburo whispered in my ear.

"Take me," I whispered. "I came here for you," I then mumbled.

Gozaburo grinned. "We'll take this to the bedroom. This time will be better." Gozaburo whispered, lifting me. As we walked, Gozaburo stared into my face for a long moment, his eyes examining every inch of my face. He gently opened his bedroom door and walked in with me in his arms. He gently set me on the bed, and looks at me gently. The tears were still coming down my face.

"You don’t have do this" Gozaburo whispered, not believing himself for saying that.
I shook my head lightly. "Please, take me," I whispered, standing before him. I slowly took off my shirt and stood there, quietly, as he looked over my chest.

He gently took me in his arms and started to kiss me lightly and lower me to bed. He kissed me deeply. I gently returned the kiss. Gozaburo lowered his head, and traced one of my scars with dampdamp, rough tongue. Soon our clothes flung in all directions. Gozaburo gently moved down and sucked on my manhood. I gasped from the pain and pleasure extracted by Gozaburo's mouth. He stopped, getting me hard. I gently reached down and ran my hands over Gozaburo's length, getting loud moans from him. When I did, wake I could barely move, but I could hear Seto down the hall. I had to get up. I slowly moved to the edge and fell off the bed. I whimpered as I lay there on the ground. I had heard the scream stop and then footsteps. The door opened with a loud noise as it hit the wall. I looked up at Gozaburo. He was still naked. And now covered in blood.

"What the hell have you done to Seto?" I yelled as he came over to me.

NOTE: Sniff, sniff poor Ki. He had everything he could ask for and then Maria's death and then going to Gozaburo and in the end something happens to Seto.
