Chapter 8: Varon

“So Varon, what happened to your arm? Was it that girl?” Almeda says with a smirk on his face.

“None of ya business ya bloke!” replies Varon.

“That enough you two! We have more important things to worry about!” yells Dartz,

Varon, Almeda, and Raphael bow before Dartz.

“Yes, Dartz-sama.” They say together.

“Cut!! Great job!” yells the director.

“So Shizuka, why’d you decide on Varon?” Mai whispers in my ear.

“I guess it’s because he likes you on screen!” I say, winking at her.

“Who wouldn’t like me?” she says striking a pose in her seat.

Ishizu and I laugh before getting up and walking towards Mai’s trailer.

“I got a few scenes off before I’m on screen again.” Mai says sitting on the sofa.

“Maybe you should ask him the questions then? I really haven’t even introduced myself to either of the four yet and they stick together like glue.” I say pointing to the pin on my shirt.

Ishizu laughs. “We may have to wait a while. I think Valon has that duel with Jou next.”

“He does, but there’s a scene with Otogi and Rebecca before that, and it’s getting kind of late. I doubt the director starts on it until tomorrow.” Mai says yawning.

“I may be able to get him tonight before bed.” I say smiling. “Mai, where does he usually go before he goes to bed?”

“Hmm, he usually hangs out with Dartz, Almeda, and Raphael before going to his trailer. He’s a little shy at first, but he’ll eventually open up to you.” She replies.

“Ok, I’ll see what I can do.” I say adjusting the pin before leaving.

I walk out and spot Jou, Kaiba, and Pegasus talking. Why are Jou and Kaiba’s hands fingers locked together? Are they a couple?

I record it as I walk by and I hear gasps from Isis and Mai. I continue walking past them, casually and towards Varon’s trailer.

“Hi, Shizuka.” I jump as I hear my name called. I turn around to see Varon standing behind me. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“Hello, Varon. I was just looking for you.” I say smiling. Varon makes his accent stronger on set, but outside of the scenes, his Australian accent is there, but it’s not as strong.

“Really? It’s getting kind of late and I’m kind of headed to bed.” He says walking past me and up the steps.

“I didn’t mean to come at this time. If you really think about it, it’s not that late Varon.”

He looks at his watch before opening the door. “Nah, but I have to go over my lines for my upcoming duel.

He looks back at me before opening the door. “Hey do you want to help me since you’re here? I get into
character better if someone is reading the other person’s lines.”

“Sure! I don’t mind! But on one condition.”

“And what’s that?”

“You have to answer a few questions for me.”

He looks at me for a moment. “Ok.”

Yes! Gotcha!

I follow him into the trailer and sit on the plush leather recliner. He’s got it decorated nice, yet
simple and elegant in red, maroon, and black.

“Here’s a copy of the script.” He says handing me a booklet and snapping me from my trance. He sits on the floor opposite of me.

I open the book to the next episode and notice that the first few pages are dialogue between him and Mai!!

She didn’t tell us she was in this one…

“I’m guessing you want me to be Mai?” I say scanning the pages.

“Yea, please. Cause I can get my other lines during the duel with Otogi and Rebecca easily. I don’t say much then. We can start at the beginning.”

About an hour later, Valon is going through his lines without the script and he even has the dramatics down.

“And that’s it up until the beginning of the duel. Good job Valon. You’re a better actor than I thought.”

I notice him blushing a bit as he turns his head. “Thanks.”

”No problem. I hope you haven’t forgotten our deal.” I say closing the booklet and placing it on a nearby table.

“Nah, I haven’t. I was just going to ask you if you had forgotten.” He says smiling “You can ask me whatever you want.”

‘About damn time Shizuka!’ I hear Mai yelling.

“I just have 5 questions, ok. The first one…Have you ever had any attraction towards any of the other cast members? If so, who?”

“I really don’t know anyone. But do you want to know as far as our characters?”

“Character.”

“The lady you and Mai are with most of the time. I think her name is Ishizu. Yea, she’s hot.” He says smiling.

I’m surprised he didn’t say Mai. “If for one night you could screw around with any cast member without anyone else finding out, who would it be?”

“Ishizu. But then again, I’d do Mai too. Hey, can I get them both?”

I hear the two of them laughing as my eyes slightly widen.

“I guess you have to ask them Varon…Inside or outside the studio, have you and another cast member engaged in sexual activity?”

He laughs. “As you may know, me and Mai have came close a few times inside.”

I wonder when that happened?

‘Looks like someone has been holding out information from us!’ I hear Ishizu say.

‘I was going to tell you guys!’ she says back.

“Shizuka…? Hey! Are you ok?”

My eyes meet up with his. “Yea, I’m ok.”

“You kind of spaced out.” He says smiling.

Only if he knew what I was listening to…

“Question four, who’s someone you wouldn’t mind having sex with on camera?”

“I didn’t know you were this sex oriented, Shizuka.” He replies shifting on the floor and ‘adjusting’ his crotch.

“I’m not.” I say smiling. “I’m just curious.”

He points to me.

“Why are you pointing to me, Varon?” I say, slightly stunned.

“Because, I want to have sex with you on camera. Isn’t that the question you asked me? I do have a camera.” He says winking.

I can feel myself blush deeply as his expression has turned lustful. I’m kind of afraid to ask the 5th question.

I shake my head, hoping I processed the rest of his sentence correctly. “I just find myself thinking.”
Yea, like I’m surprised at how open you are being to me.

“Final question I have for you Varon. If you had the chance to screw your secret lover, what would you do to him/her or have him/her do to you? Full details please.”

“I wasn’t quite finished with your previous question, Shizuka. I kinda want to do Jou too…” he says shyly. “It’s weird, wanting to bang you and your brother.”

“Not as weird as you would think, Varon. I’m pretty sure you realize how unusual the Yu-Gi-Oh! cast is.”

“Weird isn’t the word. I would say unique. I love being on the show. Everyone’s relaxed and friendly. Except that one chick who’s always on Yugi and his Yami. She’s weird.”

You just got 100 extra brownie points for saying that!

“I have to agree with you on that one, Varon.” I say laughing.

“I can’t forget your question.” He says smiling. “I would love to use you, I mean to make out with you, but I’m a gentleman and I don’t touch unless you want me to.”

I hear a chorus of ‘do it’ from Ishizu and Mai. I wonder how they would feel if they were in my spot?

Varon crawls closer to me and kisses me.

“I’ve always wanted to do that with you.” He says smiling and holding my face. I wrap my arms around him and kiss him.

My earpiece has grown silent as I guess Mai and Isis are now watching us. Damn, I wish the two of you would do this, but then again, I don’t mind this part.

(AN: Few hours later, and back to Shizuka’s POV)

“Where am I?”

I look around and notice I’m in a bedroom. I notice the top of a head poking out from the covers next to me.

I’m still at Varon’s. I must have fallen asleep. Damn, I got to get back to Mai and Ishizu! I ease out of bed, and place a kiss on Varon’s head before quickly putting my clothes on and running out. I sneak across the lot and back to Mai’s trailer.

As I open the door, I hear someone call my name.

“Shizuka!”

“Hey onii-chan!” I say closing the door.

“Where are you coming from at this hour? It’s 4am.”

“I uhh…went to take a walk around the lot. I have to keep in shape!” I say, hoping he didn’t see through my lie. “Besides, what are you doing up and out at this hour?”

“I always get up and exercise at 4. You should know that Shizuka.” He says smiling.

I wonder what kind of exercising he is really doing.

He lifts up his shirt and taps his abs. “I can’t keep these if I’m lazy.”

“Yea, you’re right.” I say, finding myself staring at them.

“I’ll see you later, Shizuka.” He says hugging me and giving me a kiss on my cheek.

I watch as he put his earphones on and goes back to jogging around the lot. I manage to open the door and sneak in. As I get back to my bedroom, I notice the light is on. I open the door and Mai and Isis are sitting on my bed.

“4am.” Says Ishizu.

“Yea, what was she doing all night? We couldn’t see anything.” Adds Mai.

“But we could hear. And we heard a lot.” Ishizu says giggling.

I stand there, not able to say anything, but I do feel myself blushing.

“So, how was he?” asks Mai.

“Great.” I say nodding.

“But you passed out, so he must have been a hell of a lot more than just great.” Ishizu says teasingly.

I feel my eyes widen. When did I pass out?!

“I bet you don’t remember when he cum did you? And he even licked it off you.” Says Ishizu.

Mai holds up the recorder and presses the play button.

‘I wish we could have tasted this together.’ I hear in Varon’s voice.

“Well, we did figure out that Varon likes Jou and he wants both of you in a ménage.” Says Mai.

“But it was weird, when he was answering questions, he didn’t mention Jou until the 5th question.” I say. “I guess he was afraid of what I would think if he came off the bat saying my brother’s name.”

(AN: Reread the first chapter if you’re a little ‘eww-ish’ about Shizuka saying that.)

Mai and Ishizu nod.

“So who are we doing next Shizuka?” asks Ishizu.

“I think we should do….”

Hey all, I know it’s been forever since my last update of this!! I finally got a chance to start writing on this again! Yay! I hope that you all are enjoying the comeback of “Hidden Secrets: A Tale of Yaoi” so far! Varon’s chapter is only the start of what’s to come!
